Signed (the store) my minor up on a 2 year contract. Manager Ken said she signed the contract so she is responsible by Michigan law. Michigan law only covers emancipated minors for food, shelter, healthcare and employment. The sales agent never explained anything to the minor. I only found out because I received a credit report in the mail along with a bill showing extra charges. Be very careful when going to Walmart to get a cell phone. They say it's prepaid and all of a sudden it's not. They commit fraud to get what they want. Now my daughter can't get new customer benefits because everyone is attached to TMobile.
