Hands down from the security, to registering to ER each and every individual gave 150% above and beyond. Felt at ease. Comfort not a crazy wait time everyone was amazing and fantastic. Thanks again.
Some of the staff are nice but they tried to convince my wife that our daughter had CO-19... and she was there for an infection on her toe. OSF is all about money, some of their staff follow blindly and others not so much. If ya wanta live, go elsewhere because if you don't have CO-19... some of the ER may not know how to treat it.
Quality Care from the time the 911 call was made through the time I was released. Dr's. we're efficient and kind.
I visited St. Elizabeth's hospital this week for a day surgery. I cannot express enough how positive my experience was, from initial greeting to check-in to the entire ambulatory services department. The team at this facility was so positive and upbeat that the entire experience which would normally be very stressful, actually was wonderful and (dare I say) fun! Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend your facility to anyone who will (or will not) listen.
I was just here, in this hospital this week, I had to go to the ER, I was actually very surprised on how fast they got me in.
I ended having surgery that night, and really I have nothing but good things to say about everyone, excelente care and very attentive staff.

Make the safest decision and go to a nearby town or city for healthcare. NOT OSF ST. ELIZABETH. This place is DANGEROUS. We were given no other option but to have my father go the this hospital and the care team was absolutely horrible. The staff is condensending and will treat you with low priority. They are more concerned about containing covid-19 patients rather than treating them. They mistreated my father and were always 5 steps behind his condition. Likely, if you are not bleeding or have a broken bone they will just send you home with Tylenol and wait for you to get worse. You are wasting time and money going here as well as putting your health at risk.
This hospital would rather send you away with narcotic pain killers than keep you and actually get down to the cause for pain and offering long term treatment. I've come to the ER once a week for three weeks now and they FINALLY admit me the fourth time, just to send me away 12 hours later telling me that I need to lose weight and I need to just keep drugging myself to help the pain until I lose control of my bladder and bowels due to nerve damage and THEN they'll do something more to help me. They sent me a referral to a neurosurgeon finally so I'll give them two stars for that. But they are just not giving me options for long term relief when I can barely sit up straight, let alone walk and I have an infant at home that I haven't been able to care for for nearly a month now...
I recently visited the ER at OSF. It was a horrible experience. The doctor barely made an examination, then disrespected me, talked down to me, disregarded my pain as if I wasn t telling the truth and went on to write false information in my chart. I sought other care at another facility and had a medical problem that required immediate attention to avoid an emergency surgery. I will never recommend or go back to OSF.
A better medical team than what I was seeking. They are helping me and my family so much. A total God sent!!!
If I could give a ZERO I would. If you catch covid and value your life do not go here! Period. If you can make it to a different medical system do it. The doctors and nurses here are rude and arrogant and are slow to dispense medications and dont give continuous life saving medicines per the request of family.
