The DR. Is ok. It's the support staff that is the issue. We arrived 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. 2 and a half hours later we finally saw an exam room. 45 minutes later we saw a Doctor. We won't come back, in fact while waiting we saw great reviews for Associates in Haverhill.

Seen same day. No waiting endlessly in room for the Dr to come in.

I like this new clinic pq is very spacious, elegant, good doctors, I visit the Rheumatologist, Orthopedist, but there are many specialists, aki take out plates ciabdo what nesecites, I love, I recommend ... thank you ..

I'm so happy with my entire experience here. Dr. Thakur is highly knowledgeable and took the time to listen to me. My check-in and check-out processes were quick and painless and every staff member was professional and courteous. I highly recommend!!

They are just the best! They always answer my questions and make appointments wicked fast!

Very bad service. Went in for back issues and they didn't help whatsoever. Almost impossible to get in touch with the doctor when you call. The staff in the front office are extremely rude. They obviously don't care about you and just want your money.

I ripped the head of my biceps tendon right off the bone. Dr Choi arranged my MRI ASAP. The surgical repair was first rate, all the surgical staff at LGH very professional. I am healing on schedule with no unintended consequences. Upbeat demeanor.

Today 12/31/19 was naturally a very busy day and when I called for an appointment none was available. I received a call from De. Hardee s scheduler that she had a last minute cancellation and I could be seen for my knee at 11:30am. She was very kind and thoughtful to call me. I saw Matt Carlson, PA for Dr. Harder. He is such a thoughtful and smart PA. I received good treatment for my knee.

I work on a regular basis with Dr. Thakur's patients during their post-op care, and I'm continually impressed with how often they have great things to say about Dr. Thakur as a person, and their relief from their experience with him as a surgeon. I have spent more than an hour of time with well over a hundred of his patients over the last couple years, and the overwhelming majority have had nothing but good things to say about their experience with Dr Thakur and Orthopaedics Northeast.

Took my wife there after a hand infection, staff was very friendly, and doctor was very good, very busy place so make sure you take all your insurance and other medical paper work with you

I called to make an appointment for a specific doctor since my emergency doctor forwarded to him. When I called, I thought I made the appointment with that doctor for three days later even though I went to emergency, but when I went to office I came to know it was a different doctor. Moreover, I got the address from the internet and I arrived 15 minutes earlier than my appointment. But, their doors were locked and nobody was in (their sign was still on the door). Then I called the office and they told they moved from that address, and without letting me asking the address they hung up the phone while I was talking. I drove to the new address and I was late 16 minutes to my appointment so I could not check-in on the machine at the entrance. After struggling 5 minutes, they checked me in. I waited for 25 minutes to see the doctor. I had a mullet finger, which torn tendon. I was seen by doctor's assistant first and he said the same thing as I searched online. He said they would give extra splint so it would be easier when I change to clean one. Then doctor refused to give another one, which costs at most $4-$5. I tried to buy from CVS but they were not carrying those kind of splints. Their staff is also rude. Based on my experience, I would no recommend the place.

I have been going here for about 3 years and I see many doctors with them. All of my specialists are under one facility and they all work together to give you the best possible care! I have the pleasure of seeing Dr. Scott Dowd regularly and he is amazing with patient care and his knowledge and helping me feel better each time. He genuinely cares for his patients and he makes you feel comfortable and I know im in the best hands seeing him. Everyone at the facility is very kind and caring and they want to help you with whatever they can! I recommend them to everyone it makes it so much easier having all my specialist working together to give me the best care and results they can. I just had the pleasure to meet Dr. Pletka and he did an outstanding job and want to thank him and his team for their help also. If it wasnt for this fantastic team I would still probably be searching for answers. They did all testing possible to help with my diagnosis and im so grateful I was referred to them by my primary care. Thank you all for your hard work and efforts in helping me a shout out to Joanne and Dr.Dowd I want to thank you both for helping me these past few months it means alot to have a doctor and his secretary truly care.

Dr Bobby is one of the best down to earth doctors i have ever met. Doesn't rush into things. Always asks me "how you doing" first. In this day and age, one of the few that listen and takes his time listening. And cant leave out his #1 assistant, Jesse, who is simply the best.

Dr. Dowd is amazing! Super nice, listens and takes the time to answer whatever questions you ask. I had been previously treated at another facility since 2014 prior to switching to Dr. Dowd, and wish I had made the change sooner.

This visit was for my wife and we found the people there very caring and took care to tell my wife exactly what was going to happen. Dr. Palma was very gentle with the shot he gave my wife and explained everything perfectly. She is very happy with the outcome.

No one returns calls. Not even to set up an appointment. ^ messages left not a single returned call. No excuse for something like this. Unprofessional.

DR. Dowd listen to your problem and is will give opinions. Great bedside Manner.

I recently had my second surgery on my hand with Dr. Choi due to a painful cyst. I'm only a week out but I will say that everything seems to have gone really smoothly. My prior surgery to this was on my other hand after an injury in which I tore some ligaments from my thumb. this was 6 years ago and to this day I haven't had a single problem with it. My hand operates just as it did before my injury and I use my hands for work quite a bit as I am a hair stylist. Dr. Choi is quick and efficient and thoroughly explains everything going on.

I have been seeing Dr Biggee for about 10 years. I would not go to anyone else! She sees me herself every single visit and is very attentive to my needs. She remembers detailed information about me that she doesn t have to look through her notes to remember- how many doctors do you know like that??? I think she and her staff are wonderful and I hope to continue to see her for at least 10 more years!!

The receptionists checking people I'm are terrible. On my first visit, they didn't look me in the eye or greet me. When I went up to them to check in, they said "there are people in front of you so you can wait" and I just said I was confused because I had an appointment. Dr. Pletka said, at the end of my appointment, that a receptionist would schedule my next visit up front. I went up front and they said they would call that day to schedule. They continued to be disrespectful. They asked me to do reviews, several days later. I gave my doctor 5 stars, and the staff up front 1 star. They finally called days later to schedule the appointment. I was busy, so I said I would call back to reschedule. They took it upon themselves to just book the appointment anyway. Three days before today's appointment we were playing phone tag back and forth because they were too busy to take my call so I gave up and just let them keep this appointment date, but they needed to change the time. This is my second visit and I was standing there up front with multiple receptionists free and not helping anyone. None of them would even look at me. I said "hello" and one looked up and back at her computer and I said my name and that I'm checking in and walked away. I walked back up and told her "this is my second time here and you're just awful with customer service." Like seriously this is the last place I want to be on a Tuesday morning at 9AM. I hate this place. As soon as this appointment is over, I'm making arrangements with my PCP to go somewhere that treats you with respect and has proper training. EDIT: Now they re telling me that my appointment was supposed to be scheduled at the hospital because the service cannot be performed here. The scheduling department told me TODAY is my appointment. They failed to mention to me that I would be going to the hospital for an appointment prior to this visit. So I wasted my morning here. Wow. DO NOT BOOK ANY APPOINTMENTS HERE.

When it comes to my joints Orthopaedics Northeast is where I go. Today it was to see Dr. Palma for my neck/arm pain. We scheduled a shot in a couple of weeks for some relief and then it s on to Dr. Thakur for my lower back. They keep me moving.

Doctor Beth Biggie is very thorough and attention to detail is awesome. She takes the time to explain all the pertinent issues of my RA and how it affects my health issues. I highly recommend her for your RA

Dr. Palma and his team made me feel good and secure throughout my visit. He care about every convernt that i have he esplaint to me syep by step and allowed me to ask questions and/or express any concerns. At each step he also asked if I was doing ok. i will not change my doctor he care to much for his patient and hr is so lovely when it come to a patient paint or corcern thank for everithing you been helping me .

Awesome experience with Dr. Kuruvilla. I was very interested in what was going on in my foot anatomically and Dr. Kuruvilla went above and beyond. He answered all of my questions in a very concise, yet thorough manner. If anyone needs his expertise I highly recommend him.

Dr Pletka was friendly, efficient, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything and then laid out all my treatment options. He didn t rush my visit and was 100% focused on my issue - he took the time to explain my diagnosis in simple terms and suggested a few treatment paths for me to choose. He is one of the best Drs I ve ever seen!

Already 75min waiting and still no sign of the Doctor. Obviously over booking. Really poor service

The team is very professional and caring. I m always happy with my visits and they are always on time and very friendly.

I complained to my primary for almost 3 years of numbness in my left arm and got no where. After my first visit with Dr. Scott Dowd I knew I was at the right place when he identified my problem as a neck issue not an arm issue. He listened to my concerns, discussed my options in detail and made me feel very comfortable with my decision. It has been several months and I am pain free with zero numbness for the first time in years. I am so happy with my outcome and would definitely recommend Dr. Scott Bowd.

As for the office, I have never found anyone to be rude. Everyone I dealt with was very polite and friendly to me when there. I did find that Tuesdays were absolutely crazy in that office because so many doctors are working at the same time. I was forgotten about for my last followup appointment but the staff and the Dr were very apologetic once they realized that I was missed and immediately got me in and out. It's definitely a busy office but I found them all to be professional.

Love seeing Dr. Dowd. Has a great disposition, willing to listen to what ails you, and sets up a comprehensive plan to manage your pain.

Dr. Dowd is a wonderful doctor and was very attentive and undertanding.

Was my first visit with Dr kuruvilla. He was 30 min late, saw me for less than 2 min. Barely examined me, gave me a piece of cotton batting to stick in my shoe & then said to call back in 2 weeks if my pain wasn t better. Frankly, the dr seemed less than interested in me as a patient. I won t be returning. Time to find a new dr.

Dr. Thakur really cares about his patients. His bedside manner is top notch, and is determined to do everything he can to help his patients. He also is very personable and committed. I couldn t say enough about him.

Worst place ever. Staff is not nice. Brought my mother from rehab to see the doctor. Waiting over an hour to be seen. My mother was in terrible pain and they didn't care. I would give negative stars if I could.

Dr Harder and his PA Matt were on time for my appointment today. They both took their time with me and explained my condition to me fully. I never felt rushed. A big shout out to Joe, who also spent time with me and Mark the X-Ray tech as well! The whole office is very pleasant and efficient!

The WORST experience at a medical practice ever! Staff at reception completely rude, waited 58 minutes and still was waiting to see a doctor!! ABSOLUTELY will never use this practice again! Thanks for wasting my time

Dr. Palma and his team made me feel at ease throughout my visit for an injection in my lower back. He let me know the step by step process and allowed me to ask questions and/or express any concerns. At each step he also asked if I was doing ok. 5 out of 5 stars

Dr. Pletka takes time to educate the patient. Very comprehensive service.
Dr. Dowd was professional and attentive. Dr. Dowd listened to my questions and answered my concerns.

Dr. Palma took the time to explain what I needed to know about my condition and treatment and answered all of my questions.

However, the telephone system is still rather user-hostile. After a long introductory message, the main menu does not include and option for accessing the main office staff. On my first try, I picked the "nurse" option and went straight to e-mail. It promised to call back by the end of the day, but no return call ever came (which is pretty standard for your voice mail). I eventually got through by using the "Make an Appointment" option.

Dr. Pletka is fantastic as well. Great with the simple to complex upper extremity issues. Excellent bedside manner as well.

If you have not given this practice a chance in the last 6 months, please reconsider. The new Andover office across from the IRS building in Andover is beautiful, modern and efficient with the latest imaging equipment for and have not had the wait times seen at the old offices. There are surgeons of all specialties with top training and can handle all of your orthopedic and rheumatologic needs. I have been going to orthopedics Northeast for 2 years with Dr. Thakur for a spine issue. As a lifelong area resident I wanted to find quality local orthopedic care. I am also a healthcare professional and believe strongly in only referring patients, family members, and friends to people I would trust with my own care. If you talk to anyone there are so many opinions about what is the best care. Hands down, Dr. Thakur is the best spine physician I have seen including the ones at the large Boston Hospitals. He will take on complicated cases some of them will not attempt to treat. Excellent diagnostician, personable and will explain things in a language that is easily understood. He will put together imaging and patient's symptoms and quickly diagnoses the problem and gives all the options for treatment. He also works with Dr. Palma and Dowd, both physiatrists who specialize in non-operative treatment and they are both extremely good and skilled with injections, various other non-operative treatment options. When surgery is needed, technically Dr. Thakur is the best.

Dr. Biggee it a very good rheumatoid arthritis doctor. She really listens to you, answers you questions and concerns. I would highly recommend her

I had an 8:00 am appointment and was seen promptly at 8:00 AM. An x-ray of my hip was needed and the x-ray was done right away in their office. The doctor then sat with me and we went over the x-ray together. The doctor thoroughly discussed my issue with my hip and prescribed physical therapy. The entire experience was extremely professional.

Dr. Dowd is an extremely decent individual and an exceptional doctor. I feel that I am truly valued as a patient, an individual, a human with many needs! I m suffering from an extremely painful condition and Dr. Dowd, after seeing numerous specialists, is the only one who s offer me answers, effective treatment and hope.

I went to their old location for some problems about ten years ago and to their NH location for something else. This Andover location is state of the art. Big. Lots of doctors and P.A.'s. More services offered than before. I am happy that my PCP referred me here again recently and a family member is happy to be coming here after one of the doctors saw her in the hospital.

Staff is very rude and incompetent. They do not call you back when you leave a message and they take forever to get approvals for the procedures you need. When I recently called, I was surprised to get through to a staff member. She was nasty and rude. She raised her voice because I asked a simple question. Jill, the office manager was also rude and has no idea how to diffuse a situation. Instead she supported the staff member even though she was rude. I do wonder if the doctors are aware of how many patients they must lose because of their staff.

Everyone from the doctors, the checking-in staff to the assistants were friendly, knowledgeable and seem to have a really good system going on. I barely had to wait and the whole appointment, from cl start to finish took maybe 40 minutes. Great service.

Dr. Harder was extremely attentive and efficient with my visit. Gave me very good information on how to work thru my sprained ankle. Thank you.

Have been a patient for more than 3yrs now and no matter how small my issue, Dr. Thakur continues to be attentive, respectful and thorough. He explains your options, the reasoning behind those options and supports your decisions. Grateful that I choose him to take care of my back and for his continued care!

Not a good . Good surgeon and a nice guy but no follow up . Back and leg pain are still present . The Dr and staff do not return calls after the fact . Poor communication with orders to the hospital and to the physical therapist . The office staff is is rude and incompetent . They said we were all set for surgery and never got a pre approval for surgery . No one answers the phone or returns calls . Office staff is holding this company back . You have to hold the surgeon responsible for his staff . There is no excuse for not returning phone calls. Other surgeons in this practice are fantastic and have a very good staff.

Long wait. I arrived at 3:37 for a 3:45 appointment. The nurse called me in the room at 4:09, and at 4:17 I m still waiting for the doctor and writing this review. Other than that nice doctors, friendly staff.

Excellent service, I will recommend to family and friends. I m very pleased with the entire procedure from surgery through follow ups. I m also glad I chose this facility for my health care and concerns. Thank you all

Had a scafoid surgery done, already feels 100 times better within just 2 weeks. Greatly appreciated with the help from workers. Super professional and extremely nice. Highly recommend!

Dr. Pletka has been amazing during my healing and lack there of. He was not quick to jump to surgery which is what I ran into with other Orthopedic professionals and I truly appreciate that! He had wonderful options to explore to try to avoid surgery but unfortunately my body was not cooperative. Dr. Pletka is amazing and I will be sure to use him for any Ortho needs for myself or my family in the future and I highly recommend him to all friends and family as well!

The doctors are good but the office staff for the most part is HORRENDOUS! It seems as if nobody takes accountability for their job. If they get passed a patient case and it isn't theirs or their part is "done" they drop it to the waste side. I've been trying to work out a preauthozation for a procedure for THREE WEEKS! I call and the staff just bounces me from person to person not listening to a thing I say. Yet they schedule you for an appointment to cancel the appointment the day before and say it's your insurances fault when it's really due to the complete and utter incompetence of the staff working to get things in order. You're dealing with people's health. Get it together.

Excellent Care! Best Orthopedic Practice in the Merrimack Valley!!

She showed she cared about me and my pain. Very informative. Explained what was going on with my osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Gave me several brochures on diet, exercise and well being. I would highly recommend her to anyone suffering from any form of arthritis.

Dr. was great but waiting and reception were terrible.

Dr. Andriola is very professional and always provides information which is understandable. I trust him with his thoughts and ideas, and fully believe he has the best interest in his patients.
