Maybe one of the best medium size venues to see a show. Great concert, amazing sound, beautiful auditorium. Only negative is that the seats are made for very small people, a 6'2" guy ends up pretty cramped.

Nice venue. Small, but nice. Good sound system and acoustics. Drinks are expensive but no more than any other concert venue.

Great place to see shows with a great staff and a well organized stage crew

Historic facility. Not quite as well preserved as the Meyer In Green Bay but twice asz big.

Great venue for a concert. Security said the shoe was sold out but there was plenty of open seating very close to stage. Sound and lighting was great!

Beautiful theater with a great assortment of concerts and shows! The people there are always friendly and helpful.

This is a decent venue which brings in some big names. They sell tickets at the front door ahead of time, so you can avoid the pricey service fees of online ticket sales. The seats are comfortable and I don't think there are any seats with obstructed view.

So many cans are left behind from dirty people who don't clean up after themselves and there's like literally more than 10 garbage cans available.

Is an older building with a lot of character. Not many women's toilets.

This place was gorgeous. Saw Purity Ring live here in 2017, they were awesome. Good stage presence and very weird (in a good way). Had a wonderful time. Heavily recommend this place if someone you like plays here. The venue had a lovely atmosphere. I liked the view, was almost majestic. The sound system was remarkable. Cute town, also.

Have seen several musicians and comedians at the Orpheum, this is a great venue for a live show!

Venue itself was great, staff was a little disorganized but overall it was a good show!

Great venue, lots of cool artists play here. Saw NF here and it was a fantastic show. Definitely check out the website for shows.

Good acoustics, no bad seat in the house, easy access to concessions and bathrooms, plethora of good bars nearby to hit before, during and after show

This venue is great because it has both seating and standing in abundance and it is nicely set up in a historic building.

Beautiful landmark. Would have liked doors to open earlier, cold waiting in line outside.

One of my favorite venues in Madison. Run by a great staff with great acoustics, although drink prices are a bit high since becoming a LiveNation spot.

Looking worn out. Have great shows. Booze and beer is over priced.

I took my Girlfriend to see Tesla July 29th 2017 we had second row sec A row B seats 1 and 2 when we first got there are seats were broken so they put 2 new chairs but put them in the front row not 2nd so had no seats and my 2nd problem was we were getting pushed into the corner were we could not see so missed half the show that we drove 200 miles to see

The building is beautiful. Plus I've never had a bad time going to a show here.

Seeing the Punch Brothers here was such a treat! Great acoustics and visuals even from the balcony. I would love to come back here for another concert as it s close enough to where I live but is still a good enough venue to travel for.
The seating up in the balcony is a little type so if you think you d need a little more room I would suggest the lower level where they tend to setup folding chairs.

The Orpheum doesn't have the greatest sound and the drinks are overpriced but it's a beautiful venue and great acts come to it.

Decent place to see bigger acts. I find the inside to be a bit rundown, but apparently the new owners are going to renovate. Drinks are expensive as is expected at a place like this.

An iconic theatre with a place to grab a drink in any direction at any time.

Amazing facility!! Totally impressed by each experience I have had. We ve sat in the nose bleeds, on the floor, and in box seats and never had a bad view. The sound has been bad on one occasion of three but I m not sure if that was an issue of sound of annunciation. We ve been to plays, musicals, and orchestra performances and always had a great time.

The only reason this venue gets a negative review from me is because the seats are incredibly uncomfortable for anyone over 5'5". Worst seat I've ever had to sit in for a long period of time

Terrible acoustics. All the live music here sounds awful.

It's too bad such a beautiful, historic building fell into the hands of such terrible people. We can only hope that the new owners (if there are some) will do a much better job. Eric Fleming extorted myself and my husband for $1500 on a wedding that never happened, and they knew FULL WELL that you wouldn't even have a liquor license at the time that our wedding was supposed to take place (late October 2011) - but they harassed us until we felt we had no choice. You said you were going to sue us. What a bunch of crap! Very disappointing...

lovely old time theatre in downtown Madison, gets lots of great concerts

Great, clean older but updated theatre located right downtown.

Amazingly setup location! Parking not very far from here, beautiful building.

Security was nice for an Evanescence concert. Easy to figure out layout and seating was acceptable.

Lots of restaurants around if you wanted to eat before heading in. Clean location. Bathrooms could use a touch up, but for the amount of traffic they get, they're quite acceptable.

The lights blinded me so i couldn't really see the show. Very annoying.

They always have some great shows. The drink prices are on par with downtown and less expensive than the Comedy Club. My biggest gripe is that the seating hasn't been updated since people were 5 ft tall and 90 pounds. It's always so cramped.

Grand old theater! A little tired in places, but not run-down. Acoustics are great. The band - Rumours - was very complimentary of the venue; it's hard not to love it.

Fantastic place to see a show, intimate setting and the sound is great...

We went to a concert which was great. Most of original seats were gone. We had to sit on very uncomfortable folding chairs. We did enjoy everything else about the theater.

Went to see Get the Led Out band. excellent! Our reserved seats were folding chairs up front in the middle. $9 24 oz.. domestic beers plus other choices.

Too much seating and not enough standing general admission for a music venue.

It's a great local venue that I've been seeing comedians to concerts to movies at since I was a kid. Historic Madison landmark.

Went here for a concert in March 2016 and it was well lit and lots of space and bathrooms

Fun little place in downtown Madison. They were really helpful when husband forgot to print the tickets.
