I always come in and see the bartender Andrew on the weekends for brunch! He is the best!! Fantastic drinks and service.

Origin is one of the best restaurants in Dallas, especially if you are Paleo or Dairy Free. From their cashew queso to paleo tacos to Brussels sprouts which are honestly to die for, it is always SO good. Everything is incredible fresh, and I love being surprised by new ingredients that I d never heard of before. Members of the staff actually remember my name and treat me so well every time I visit.

Got the steak and eggs. The steak was one of the best steaks I've had in a while. The chicken and waffle were not bad. The chicken lacked flavor, but the Cholula sauce helped a lot. It's pretty noisy inside, but the patio was nice and cozy.Our waiter Andrew was very nice, fast, and offered great and honest advice on the menu offerings.

This is an amazing place. We went and tried it out for restrauant week. Great staff, excellant service. Everything we had was so good. The steak might have been the most tender steak I ever eaten. Manger stopped by multiple times. Easy parking. Will be going back again.

Mimosa is a great option at this place. The food was really good and tasted organic. Will definitely go back again.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast and was treated to some of the best french fries (for real! My omelet came with "fries" which i assumed to be breakfast potatoes) and homemade catsup ever. Oh, the omelet was good too!

Great patio, great service, and the warm shaved brussels salad is amazing.

Very allergy friendly! The drinks were good and so was the food, it was busy - but not packed full. It seemed like we didn't have a server and random people were getting us things, but they were nice and we were taken care of. I would recommend this place to those with food allergies!

Healthy food that tastes good, although it's a bit more expensive than I expected. Staff is hit or miss, sometimes super chill and sometimes vacant.

Their shrimp and grits is amazing, great flavor and texture. I had a taste of their shaved Brussel sprout salad, it was delicious as well.

This place far exceeded our expectations. Got drinks during brunch, the michelada was huge with a unique craft brewery beer. My girlfriend is lactose and gluten free, but had plenty of menu options to choose from (this never happens). The meals were plenty of food, very delicious, and a good price. The service was fast and they were very friendly. Highly recommend, looking forward to going back.

We came here with friends from Austin on New Year's Eve. Origin had a set, prix fixe menu that night and we asked if it would be possible to split one order (four courses) per couple, since we weren't looking for a ton of food. They happily accomodated us and even split each course onto two dishes.

We all had heirloom tomato salads and warm Brussels sprouts salads, both of which were incredible: smoky mozarella and flavorful deep red tomatoes, and perfectly cooked shaved sprouts. This was followed by goat cheese and spinach-stuffed chicken breast with sauteed yellow squash and green beans all topped with a bit of sauce hinting of maple. Our friends got the salmon and rissoto and were similarly impressed.

On top of that, we had three drinks: the 00rigen7, a fig-infused rye Sugar Free Old-Fashioned, and the RUseMary. The latter was deemed by our friend to be the best cocktail she has ever had -- a savory take on a mojito replacing mint with rosemary. We all took turns passing our drinks around so that we all could experience each one.

TL/DR: Perfect. Definitely returning on our next visit to the city.

Origin offers fresh and varied food that's evokes a farm to table atmosphere, I'm unsure how farm to table they are though. They feature fantastic Cultivar coffee.

Dishes sampled-
Hash with chicken sausage which was good overall but had too much flavor from the cherries creating an overly sweet after taste.
Porridge- definitely not your standard porridge but the fresh fruit complimented the unique flavors well. The coconut creme was a great addition.
Paleo pancake - the consistency was great and overall flavors were very good as well. The accompanying syrup had just the right amount of sweetness for the pairing.

Environment- a little noisy due to the tile wall and make sure to make a reservation if you want a table on Saturday or Sunday.

I'd honestly give it a 3.75 but let's just round up.

There's a hair in the porridge, the salad is stale and the utensils are unwashed, like food leftovers on it. What a dissapoinent!?! Drove 20 min just for this spot, wanted to come back here as I came in last year and it was amazing and I am not local.

Take-out. Food was amazing. Enchiladas exceeded my expectations. Sweet potato hash was just what I needed after my long run at Katy trail.

So glad to find a high quality restaurant that offers gluten free chicken fried steak! It was not chopped steak, mind you, it was actual steak - and they did an amazing job making it GF. They even served the gravy on the side so the breading would not get all soggy. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, too. Will definitely be coming back again to try something else, as they have an extensive menu with lots of interesting options.

This has been a staple of ours in the area for over two years now. It s where me and my finance had our first date and celebrated our engagement. The cocktails are always evolving making it a fun mix of new, yet familiar. The staff are amazing and always accommodating as needed. Worth checking out if you want chill cocktails (White Russian is a fav of ours, they use espresso ) and solid food. Bonus if you re trying out kept or paleo or some other restrictive diet, their menu accommodates pretty much any dietary restriction. 10/10 Would recommend.

Excellent place, options are delicious, can have healthy options as salads, appetizers and very good rations for meals. Some hours pretty crowded but the waiting time is not so long.

Paleo and Vegan options are so plentiful on this menu! Wonderful food, we were so impressed. Drink menu was fabulous as well. Will definitely be back again when I am in Dallas.

This place is perfect for a great Saturday date night or a casual Sunday burnch! The food tastes better than if you tried making it at home and the cocktails are fresh. Try the warm brussels salad as an appetizer - you'll want to share though. It's a lot! I highly recommend the sweet potato hash as a side to any entree.

Food is good and just such a nice atmosphere. Chris is the best and will surely guide you in the right direction along with the rest of his staff.

As we all know mask mandate was lifted and just found it upsetting for people handling the food and serving you are not wearing masks here. I respect everyone s decision in what they want to do but I will not be returning after that experience since the staff is not wearing masks, we are still in a pandemic.

Came in at 11:30. Didn't get my pot of tea until 12:22. Two plates came out 10 mins later that included eggs, didn't have the eggs! (this is an hour after we got there !!) the eggs came separately and were undercooked! Pancakes were burnt. Even when we sent them back. They redid them burnt- how does one mess up on pancakes?? We had hungry kids with us and are never coming back. Terrible service because they are understaffed.

Knowing and friendly staff helped us with whole30 knowledge and menu items in a clean and slightly industrial feeling setting. Tasty

Our favorite local spot that we frequent to have their amazing food and sangria that is made in house by Chris the manager. Always make us feel like we are part of the Origins family when we are there. Thank you.

this is my go to saturday breakfast spot. Great for healthy options! Good coffee where they put collagen peptides in, and i love the bird in the nest. I have been here probably 20 times in the last 6 months for breakfast.

STEAK & EGGS - Whole30 friendly - First of all, the environment is aesthetic and the server was friendly. He mentioned that everything is cooked in Olive Oil. I ordered the Steak and Eggs with a Bulletproof coffee (no butter) and the combo was amazing. I will be coming back for this. Highly recommend!

I ve been here a few times before and was a little disappointed in our most recent visit. I made a reservation weeks in advance for a birthday trip because they are always busy and we had other appointments that day. When we came in we checked in for our reservation, and proceeded to wait 15 minutes while the hostess (who I believe was new) sat people with later reservations ahead of us. I finally had to step in and remind her we had a reservation as she was about to seat a different group ahead of us again. The food once we had sat down was once again great quality. I ve had the chilaquiles, the chicken and waffles, and many variations of their hash bowl and it s always been excellent. Their coffee, lattes, and mimosas are very tasty as well! I really hope our next visit they have a better trained hostess working because we really do enjoy the food here.

Always an excellent meal. I've been here about 4 or 5 times and have never had a bad dish. Staff is great too.

OMG breakfast was amazing! Had the Brussels and sweet potato hash. Everythwe had was gluten free too.

Perfect place for people with dietary restrictions or preferences. My family consists of gluten free, low carb and non-dairy eaters and this place had something for everyone! You MUST start with the calamari, probably the best we have ever had. The mix of flavors was absolutely incredible. We all enjoyed our entrees as the we're the perfect balance of flavor and portion sizes. We also ordered two cocktails, Bluebonnet and Enter the Dragon, both were delicious and mixed very well.

The restaurant itself was clean and had nice booths, tables and bar seating. They have an attentive and friendly staff. I would suggest getting a reservation on the busy nights because it is a smaller restaurant.

Overall, great experience and can't wait to go back!

This place has such a great atmosphere, FANTASTIC staff, and the food is incredible. They cater to those who want to eat well/ healthy but still want to feel like they are satisfying their inside fat kid. I love how things are cooked with healthy oils, GF, options for dairy free, and responsibly cultivated and raised. I can t say enough about this place. I love the owners!!!

I was forced to wait to be seated 20 min.when there were many,many empty seats available. 2 couples left after 15 min of waiting and I heard more than 1 comment stating they would not return here.

Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere. I love this place.

Great service. Make reservations. On this visit I ordered "The King". Good portion served with three strips of bacon. I had them hold the bananas. This brunch was delightful and filling. The raspberry chantilly cream added just the right amount of sweetness and fluff.
