Orchard Hills Athletic Club Review

Lots of equipment, indoor pool, indoor track, staff are great and very professional.

The staff is friendly, I love my personal trainer. I wish the temp was kept a bit cooler.

Super friendly staff and a well maintained gym. Love that they have an indoor pool and a large weight/cardio area!

When you first go you will think it's a lot more expansive compared to other gyms. Well it is lol However it's MASSIVE! with every peice of equipment you could imagine and a selection of classes you can sign up for as well. Not to mention the indoor pool and outdoor pools. Racket ball/tennis and the biggest reason it has a child care area so you can bring your young kids. The reason I just signed up is that they have all new equipment throughout and lots of it! Ive never waited to get on a peice of equipment here like I did at my last small/cheap gym and mostly all of its NEW! so it actually works as expected. I think it's well worth the extra for all that you get from the place. If you have it in your budget, this is the gym to go to!

We go here and love it! So much fun for the kids and a great way to stay in shape!

Nothing. Equipment is outdated and uncared for. Overall staff is inattentive, gym staff spend more time working out and concerned with themselves than providing assistance to members. Only met 2 staff members that actually interacted genuinely with members Taryn and Carlton. Thumbs down to this facility.

Clean, respectful and great variety of classes/equipment to meet everyone's fitness journey

I really like this gym. We have been family members for about two years now and it is clear that they are committed to making the members happy. The teachers and classes are great. The facility is clean and well maintained. The daycare option is wonderful and the caregivers seem to do a great job. And the new Roots 2 is a really awesome addition!

OHAC is a great resource that adds to the overall desirability of the neighborhood! Families and especially children have a wonderful time in the pool all summer long. The season-ending dog swim is tons of fun!

Great atmosphere & friendly staff. Lots of amenities! Family oriented. Cannot say enough good things, easily #1 gym/athletic club in the area.

Great place. Toddler swim class is great. Instructors are attentive, friendly, and we'll trained. Pool and gym are clean and tidy.

Amy is an outstanding therapist!! Kind polite and well trained!! The office assistant was very rude to me on two occasions once telling me she was going to have to have a meeting with me ( I'm over 45 yrs old!) caz I called out twice because my austistic daughter was out of control and I was tending to her. Not professional

My daughter has been taking swim lessons here for 2years. The staff is wonderful and great with the kids. She is a super active and easily distracted kid. The low student to teacher ratio keeps her engaged. She loves every lesson!

Indoor track is awesome. So it's the pool in the summer months.

Way too expensive! Although it has a pool . I would love to see this place thrive more offering better rates and free personal trainers also a friendlier atmosphere and newer equipment!!

Great club - great people- clean- fun - great cost

I have been taking my son to swimming lesson there 4 months now. Sandy and the rest of the staff are awesome. My son loves it as soon as we walk in. The locker rooms are super clean!

Love this gym. Everything is always so clean, the staff is super friendly, so many different options and hours for the classes and really love the convenience of the day care. Highly recommend it.

I m not completely sure how gyms are supposed to work but I figured if you pay for services you should be able to use them. We had the family membership for 4 of us. We have been told by trainers multiple times the past couple months, while using the equipment in the gym area that we have to get off because they need the machine for training and go use a different one. Today after asking the front desk staff, Kathy (manager on duty) if we were able to use the indoor pool due to thunder closing the outside one (at 6:25pm you d assume she d tell us I only had 5 minutes left) she had said yes of course! After getting my 2 girls under the age of 3 in a bathing suit and in the pool we get talked to multiple times on how we aren t supposed to be in there but It was ok since a swim instructor wasn t here today! And when Terry finally came over to talk to us after always getting pushed around by her in the pool any time we are in there. We then decided to just get out which is tough because my oldest daughter just cried because she wanted to swim. So family swim time isn t really family swim time it s stand in one tiny area with a bunch of other parents and kids trying to swim while swim leissons go on all around you! But one positive was the daycare staff and front desk staff are all very welcoming!

We love OHAC! They have great programs for kids too! Our son just finished summer camp at OHAC and we couldn't be happier with his experience! He loved it!

My husband and I have been members for 2 yrs now. We still love the place as much as day 1. Staff is awsome. Place is clean and nice and if there is a recommendation they follow through to see it happens.

I was treated like I wasn't even a person. My son wasn't allowed to swim in the pool because he is "only 16" and they kicked us out.

I ve been going here for years and I can tell that the current management really cares about their place. Staff is very friendly, there s enough activity to get a workout one way or another (basketball, weights, racquetball, swimming etc) close to a major highway, lots of parking. I can t complain. Maybe some of the machines were at one time not as modern as other gyms but over the last few years I ve seen lots of money and effort be put into this place. I think they are doing just fine. Keep it up!

Not autism friendly whatsoever. operations manager doesn't care at all about customer service. Used to go there, left because of unclean and unsafe facilities, and the general manager hung up on me when i tried to voice concerns . Rude old people who don't care about their customers.

Nice gym with plenty of space. Front desk personel are awesome.

Great people and excellent place to do any type of workout

Been going to the club for over 15 years and have nothing but good things to say about my experience I have going to the club!! Looking forward to the next 15 years working out at Orchard Hills!!

The best gym, swimming pool, basketball, tennis, and racquetball in central MA.

Nice pool friendly staff and 10$ pp to bring a friend

I love orchard hills. Massive. Weekend hours should be extended to 8PM. But in the winter, there needs to be better plowing. The parking lot was horrible this winter. For the amount of money members pay, the parking lot should be paved exceptionally. It's a liability waiting to happen.

We have been away for five years with health issues and now it is great to be back at the club.Absolutely a great club with friendly and experienced staff. It is well worth the monthly fee and the new sauna is awesome.

I feel like this is my sanctuary, a very attentive staff if you need them. The club is clean and well kept. sometimes they make changes and you wonder, what they are thinking. The changes have most always turned out for the best! The equipment is plentiful and very rarely do I have to wait to long for a piece of equipment. A very nice environment!

Great gym to go to. They have track for running miles, basketball court, racket ball, inside and outside pools, and much more. This a a great gym and recommend going for a vist as they do tours around the gym.

This place is huge & literally has EVERYTHING! You should definitely check it outl :)

Orchard Hill is a large facility with a wide range of physical activity services.
It has a four lane indoor pool, in the summer two outdoor pools, a large fitness center with a wide variety of multiple training equipment, and trainers. it has racquetball, basketball and table tennis facilities and access to four Tennis courts. It offers child care services while you exercise. The tone of management is informal and friendly and staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Members range in age from tots to 90 year olds. The cost of membership is reasonable and if you are not yet a members, I recommend that you join!

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. Horrible prices, horrible customer service, dirty daycare. If you're under 45 this place isn't for you.

Clean, huge gym with lots of variety and space. You get what you pay for.

We participate in the Little Nemo's swimming class and it has been a great time for us getting our infant daughter comfortable in a swimming pool. The facilities are very nice but the one thing I'd like to see would possibly be the addition of another diaper changer in the family change rooms.

Just joined and enjoy every moment there. Friendly and caring staff. Clean facilities. A little sanctuary for me from, busy days.

Great gym. I go almost every morning to get my workout in. Personnel are great and very proffesional.
