I didn't know this place was here is a very convenient location for whoever have traffic tickets to pay and forgot to send payment by mail, regular office hrs but they close for lunch.Very nice officers kind and informative.
Don't just show up like another user said, you better call. Self help opens at 8am but they have workshops you better know about so call. If they have one, there is only 2 on staff for self help and I was ignored for almost 30 minutes after grabbing a ticket. This alone would not cause me to write this, but since I was not given correct information regarding my paperwork needed for submission at court before and was caught off guard once there to submit, I feel I need to share
Hate court but when it can't be avoided I would say this office is great for receiving self help with filing or responding
The staff here are very helpful and friendly. Practically no wait time - just use the station to get a ticket and wait your turn. Be aware their lunchtime is from 12.30-1.30pm so avoid this time.
So easy to handle any legal court issues quick. friendly officers too.
No one likes going to court (traffic, gas, long lines, potentially leaving in a blackout bus own & operated by The State of California ) but this place is legit. Yes, they usually have only 1 window open but if it gets busy they ll open a second My longest wait time was maybe 15 min. If you re in actually in court & need to wait in that 45 min to an hour long line again after case has been heard just ask the self help desk if the MV Service Center can accept your paperwork. Done that twice. (NOTE: Don t judge me, my car has produced a lot of tickets for me).
Wow I just found out this place existed! Seeing as the laguna niguel courthouse was shut down, I had to drive all the way to jamboree. Drove by and saw the sign this establishment on my way home and It was beyond convenient to come over and handle my ticket. Heather was so pleasant and helpful! She also told me I could come to self help for a small claims case on fridays which is amazing. If you need to handle any court stuff, this is the place. Quick, pleasant, and efficient.
This place is a dream come true! It's convenient for South OC residents, there was literally no waiting line. And I didn't have to go to Santa Ana or Orange! Don't try to call. Just show up.
