Hi All,

I had recently visited Evolve Back Coorg resorts for three days and I must say I had a lovely time there. The people are very warm, courteous and helpful. They care takers took every possible measure to make sure we are safe. The food was just too good ! Every time of the day the food served was amazing (vegetarian) . They have lovely sessions like Plantain walks, Bird watching and Moon light dinner for couples too ! The place was well sanitized and the climate was just perfect. This place is in the middle of the coffee estate and one can get fresh coffee powders too.. One should definitely visit this place. A little pricey but moneys worth.

Plantation Tour : Mr. Yesudas was extremely knowledgeable and was very patient ti answer our questions and took us into the coffee plantation forest.

Bird Watching : Mr. Gopal took us to a 2 Km walk around the resorts to show some really pretty variety of birds. Lovely sight.

Point of Contact : Ms. Shilpa was one of the sweetest people there ! She was allocated personally for us and had our requirements taken every single time. Special mention to her.

Coffee Museum: Yesudas and Vinod demonstrated us how different varieties of coffee are being made from a few grams of the same powder.. Espresso, Cappuccino, South Indian Filter coffee, Vietnam Cold Coffee. Vinod has a lot of tricks up his sleeve.

Food In-Charge : Mr. Ibrahim was always available, took care of us and the food was just too good. Healthy foods being served too .

They speak Kannada, Coorgy, Tamizh, Malyalam and English. I mean everyone of them speaks this !
On the whole this was a very pleasant stay for us and we hope to come back.

Previously known as Orange County, this place is so beautiful. It is a huge property with approximately 60 rooms and there are coffee plantation all around. One can also fins Pepper plants. Evolve Back is truly an experience to stay. Staff is nice and food is very amazing. Jacuzzi or Swimming pools are in every rooms. A must visit place for once in a life.

Beautiful Resort. One can have just no complaints with their stay. Just the best property.

Good place and also free accomodation and food available for drivers which is very important because driver need proper rest and good maintained dormitory and kitchen

The Best. Only these 2 words are enough to explain this property. From reception to room all are just like dream, people must go once their just to experience the nature from their bedroom.

What a place , the moment you enter everything is grand, lush green, beautiful cottages villas rooms great restaurants , they have 3 restaurants man made lake with fishes , and exceptional service ..

This may be a biased and fan boy review as going to Orange County was a dream to me. First advise - if you plan your trip carefully, you can get rooms for cheap rates (around 20k - 30k).
No more advices. Just my experience.

When I was thinking of planning a trip to this resort I was double minded as the price for the Diwali weekend was 43k per night. When I contacted their customer care not only I got my doubts clarified also got a Heritage villa booked with a surprise discount. Booking and payments were done so easily online. They provide cab facilty from mangalore and mysuru. It sounded expensive therefore i opted for ola rentals. Customer care 10 out of 10 (ratings not based on discounts)

The road near the resort is very bad. The check in process is so easy I still dont remember when it happened. Miss Sony was our point of contact and gave us a quick tour of the property and took us to our room. It was a surprise to me that our room was lake facing. Never knew this when I booked it. Reception and check in 10 out of 10

The moment you enter the resort, any employee you come across will greet you with a Namaskara. I mean everyone. The way the treat you if you ask them for help is top class. House keeping is spot on. They get things done as and when you ask for. A housekeeping staff named Radesh was so kind that he cleaned the room twice every day and decorated it so good.

There are 3 restaurant's in the resort. Granary is a buffet type, pepper corn is a fine dinnig one with a 6 course meal and plantain leaf which is a pure veg restaurant with South and North India style of food. Granary was the most we visited. Chef chandi was there everytime we were there and made sure our food was good. He even told us He will get us sandwiches for our travel back home after we checked out. You can ask for any food with your specifications and you will get it. I felt few dishes were not good or atleast of not my taste. Granary is a walk in one. Other 2 restaurant's availability is based on prior booking. Pepper corn was awesome with 6 course meal. Mr. Shahid was so kind and served us as we asked for. Quantity wise as well as quality wise. Restaurant's again 10 out of 10.

Buggy service is available on request. The resort is quite big one so this comes as good option of elders and during dinner times as our room was faraway.

Wi-Fi only available in 3 places in the resort. There will be no mobile signal. So this resort gives you a pleasant stay without any touch from the fast and digitalised city lifestyle.

I just mentioned to Sony during the tour that our visit was for celebrating my wife's birthday. Result was, i got special decorations, cake at 11:55 PM, day full of wishes in all restaurant's we went for. Thanks Sony for this.

The resort offers few activities which we did not participate on. So no comments on that. This is purely up to your taste.

Mgmt please fix the road to the resort. That's the only comment I can say.

Altogether my experience was so good I cannot stop thinking about going back there. Will surely visit again. 10 out of 10 for the whole experience.

It was great experience at the resort. It is probably a stay as close as possible to Nature. The staff is courteous, always smiling and greeting. Mouthwatering dishes and brilliant chefs. You definitely need to be a foodie to enjoy the food here :)=. People incharge of activities are very knowledgable.

Best place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. I recommend going for the Coffee walk and Bird Walk

As u enter the resort gate you will feel special...the ambience n the greeting as we stepped out of our car on arrival was very special. The welcome n the briefing done was spot on. The staff were very warm n friendly. The villas are mindblowing. The food n activities will keep you occupied during ur stay. The peercorn restaurant n tree house dinner is a must. Thank you orange county for the experience, it will be one wich me n my hubby will not forget.

Beautiful property.. we were here with my family had booked lily pool bungalow with two rooms.. beautiful rooms and pool.. you should ask for temperature control pool while booking and peppercorn restaurant is a must try..
Prabhakaran Helped us with the booking process so smoothly and made sure evening l everything is done what we wanted.. Bhagyashree welcomed us and made sure everything was perfect firing the stay and arranged cake for me as it was my birthday with a little personalized card.. harish in the restaurant made sure that we enjoy all our meals.. bird watching with Mr Lithin was an amazing experience, noticing the nature so closely, which was complementary.. For the safari ride you had to pay but it was worth it. That's a must. We had an enjoyable session with vishwanath who even had a small surprise at the end. Overall it was the best decision, great place great hospitality with all the essential cleaning..

I had a wonderful stay in evolve back resort last week.It was fantastic experience as u enter the resort with warm welcome especially from the general manager with smiling face. I really appreciate the hospitality from each and everyone in the resort.I relished delicious food and the beautiful accomodation which u find absolute clealiness.

This is superb place for staying, recreation, rhoming around, being involved in different activities. There are many creative workshops , programs arranged here. Some traditional dances are worth watching.

Evolve back is one of the best resorts that we have ever stayed in.
We were staying in a Lilly pool cottage which was amazingly beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is very courteous and they make sure that you get a homely feeling during your stay. The room rates and the buffet rates are extremely expensive but its worth it. The food is very tasty and if you are a coffee lover then this place is meant for you. The resort arranges some day activities for you which includes a village visit, plantation walk across there huge coffee plantation estate inside the resort and various cultural activities. In all it was a great experience and we are definitely going back again soon. Evolve back is way above excellent.

Excellent Place. Best place to stay while in Coorg. Plenty of activities which will keep us occupied all day. Food options are excellent at Orange county.

Team evolve back I give you 5 on 5 for your housekeeping and wonderful dining experience.. kudos to you for making that experience wonderful. Excellent spa experience also. But I m bit upset with other things for which I would give 0/5... Your management says it's plantation based resort and some times snakes can come in.... Oh my did u tell me on your website.. I wouldn't had book it any cost and you say the snake are. Non poisonous... Has it been written on snake...oh my god! Without seeing how can you judge.. you claim it to be silent resort but there was plantation work going on creating lots of disturbing sound.. big tractor sound coming.. guys you say you are eco friendly.. I don't think so...you may disagree. I have my views on it.. it's a bit risky with your 3 year old son... I don't him to be frightened . I want my family to be safe . Team evolve back guest safety is above all things.. though you have a great staff and all things are really appreciated but I m sorry I cannot accept safety above anything..

Beautiful place...Vaidyashala treatments are good. I personally loved body massage, facial and Shrirodhya... Food is damn good.. Customer service - I have never experienced this level of service anywhere else.. Staff is friendly and they are customer centric... Overall I rate 5 out of 5...

Evolve back is a new name of Orange County resort. They have tried their best to keep the place as green and traditional as possible with the all possible amenities. That's a tough job to bring luxury, simplicity and sustainability at the same place. But all these have its own cost, making this place bit on an expensive side.

Disconnect from the world. Great food, great ambiance and a great experience.

Amazing place!!! Perfectly built amidst lap of nature

Beautiful location and a stunning architecture. This place takes you to wonderland with the nature and unique animals woven into your path. The Indian touch is pretty remarkable. Now for the things you want to hear, great great great food. It only gets better with each meal. Breathtaking outdoor dinners every night. Quite a few activities to choose from such as nature walks and bird watching. However, it is a long drive and about 6 hours from Bangalore. The only reason I gave this place a 4/5 stars is I feel that Villa could have been done up just a tad bit better. But I will definitely be back soon. Thanks a lot Evolve Back, I had a lovely stay!

Truly the hidden gem of Karnataka, being probably the only resort in India with private pools in every single room. Add to that the pristine plantations and private lake, and this is the perfect property for a luxury vacation/ getaway. The service was top notch and so was the food at the three restaurants, albeit not as exceptional as the property itself. They also have a gamut of activities to keep you more than engaged during your stay here, so exploring other places in Coorg while staying here would be a no, considering you re likely to fall short of time in exploring all that this resort itself has to offer.

Amazing resort..evolve back has set a benchmark for other resorts. excellent rooms hospitility , tasty and variety of food selection. The chief chef Mr Chandykunju took special care of us. Mr Ibrahim in the Granary restaurant was very pleasant welcoming and helpful. He took care of us specially during the Saturday special paddy field dinner. Mr Yesudas and Mr Viswanath are.amazing guides during our.village visit and nature walk and because of their expertise we.spotted to wild elephants and one of them.very close by.

Do come to evolve back and enjoy the hospitality on the natures lap. 200 percent you will enjoy the stay.

This place is where my heart lies!! This is not just a place, it s a feeling and Emotion. I highly recommend this place for holidays and relaxations. Extremely beautiful ambience, so well maintained, so well treated, full of greens and only greens. Beautiful rooms are provided and extremely well service are given. Best food is served. So so friendly staff and I really appreciate the well maintained place and very skilled staff. So many fun activities like bicycle riding, bird viewing, coffee tasting and many more! A must Visit to heavenly place.

We had the honeymoon package at Evolve Back Coorg, and it was a very pleasant stay with excellent service, facilities, food and activities. Strongly recommended. Our favourite activity was plantation walk with private guide. They also provide accommodation and food for your driver.

What a wonderful space to be in! The entire experience was breathtaking. There are so many activities to do here like the ECO walk, the Nature Walk, the Plantation Walk, the Dubare Elephant Camp, The Nardoling Monastery. The good at the Plantain Leaf is amazing. The treat at the tree house is fabulous if you are a couple, with a private butler and your choice of food! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff do not know to say "No". Wonderful drive to the resort, an even more stunning resort. Hospitality on point, super clean and beautifully decorated open spaces.
Orange County offered us some really good Coorg coffee, which is available to buy at their haystack gift shop.

There is nothing I can pin point and tell could have been good. Food was great, open area dining with culture show was very good.
