Great bar to go to after u have done the pubs in Ashton lane and don't want to go home at 12pm.great ambience inside pub.bar staff friendly.highly recommend a visit.
Used to come here clubbing back in the day. But as a gig venue it's pretty good too. Decent sound. Good view from bar. Nice for small intimate gigs.
Excellent venue. Had my wedding here! Always emotional everytime I visit!
Great pub inside this beautiful church. Nice beers, nice places to sit and fantastic decorations.
Inattentive staff, yes it was busy but the prices you pay you expect good table service, my fries were hardly cooked, other than that no bad atmosphere. Won't be going back though
Best pub ever. Amazing place with pub, live shows and fair prices. Love it!!
Very west-end glaswegian place to get a late night drink.. They serve food till 9ish. Even better, scooby snacks available at the food truck right outside
This is probably a must-see for tourists. Spectacular pub in an old church. Can't really say anything about the food since we only enjoyed a beer outside.
Super rad place, so huge! Had a delicious meal and the staff was very friendly.
I really like this place, good food, good selection of drinks. They also do plays downstairs and gigs, totally worth checking the listings. It's accessible to wheelchairs through the bistro entrance, then there's a lift to all floors, but there's not an outside button so you have to get someone to go in to the bar to get them to open it outside bistro hours.
Visited here for the first time to see Ben Harper. The waitress with the purple hair was so rude I will not be returning to give them my custom again. Atrocious attitude, poor service and over-priced everything! Some lessons in basic civility for their staff (purple-haired ones in particular) would be a good start.
Great atmosphere and large enough to fit a crowd without feeling like a warehouse.
Nice friendly staff, cool vibe, enjoyed the music festival they had here while I was visiting in town.
Nice place and staff. Food really poor quality. I believe we were last to be served at about 8pm so less care. Burger very dry, hard to chew and needed a drink to get it down. Caesar salad was just leaves with dressing croutons and some chicken. What happened to the anchovies and parmesan. Really poor.
Visited for lunch paid over the odds for poor quality food. I had nachos which were supposed to have sour cream and guacamole and had neither my other half had an omelette with what looked like week old salad!! Box office staff member was quite rude too
Food, drink and atmosphere really good, really good venue.
Used to come here clubbing back in the day. But as a gig venue it's pretty good too. Decent sound. Good view from bar. Nice for small intimate gigs.
A great venue for gigs avoid and drinks. Student vibe downstairs and check out the halo on the steeple. A Glasgow west end legend, this place is well worth a visit.
The get together place for after midnight in the West End!
Great sound, but the space is cramped and the overly strick curfew has cut short too many gigs
Shocking that they don't offer alternatives to cow milk so, vegas can't have a coffee.
Wonderful place with friendly bar tenders and a nice atmosphere
Door staff have a lot of questions which was not necessarie, very off putting for a return visit.
Food indifferent. My wife's bean casserole had a few pieces of chopped green beans in it.Not a pulse in sight. It was a tomato based sauce with a slice of hard bread/toast Vegetables, such as there were, were virtually raw (broccoli and green beans). We expected more from the Oran Mor.We are regulars at the pie, play and pint events and always enjoy them.We visited today , Saturday,at lunch time D and G McKenzie
Excellent food, highly recommend trying the haggis neeps and tatties
Had a company ball here. The planners were professional and the night itself we had was amazing- a unique setting fantastic entertainment and a sumptuous 3 course meal. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone planning a party!
One of the best pubs I have ever been to. A bit pricey but it's worth it.
Went here to see the nirvan unplugged tribute band. Who were amazing btw, deffinatly worth going to see. The venue is ok , overpriced as most in the west end , no surprises there. Staff friendly and helpful
In a nearby pub/bar that's about to close at midnight but want to keep the beers flowing?
Go to Oran Mor and enjoy the hang over the next day as it's open till 2am weekdays and 3am at the weekend
Fantastic food and drink, very fast service, I love the inside being converted from an old church :)
Lovely bar with pretty, decorative wood features around the counter and a staggering whisky selection.
Great bar with a convivial atmosphere in a beautiful historical building.
Excellent bar with fantastic atmosphere. Super busy.
Fantastic atmosphere, very good choice of beers and whiskey
Great night , great venue! Lankum and Stick in the Wheel.
Small, cosy venue with a bar at one end of the floor opposite the stage with seating at either side. A great way of seeing your favourite artists play closeup!
Great service and friendly staff. Prices are normal when compared to other bars in the area. Can get busy on weekends but there's always space for a few people
Went to a Pie,a Pint and a Play for the first time. Great venue, packed full of people enjoying the entertainment and some refreshments.
great bar - great atmosphere - great staff - love going there.
As a gig venue 5 stars, unfortunately we had food before the gig. The steak pie was tepid so sent it back. The veg was almost raw & like bullets. Definitely won't be back for food. Friendly & helpful staff, great sound & beautiful building
A great place to have a (vegetarian) burger and some fine dark house ale.
Play, Pie & a Pint
Great
Lovely iconic venue in the West end of Glasgow. Went with a group of family and friends for drinks after work. Originally went for an online advertised pub quiz but they don't run it any more. Huge choice of drinks in the whisky bar where we sat, good vibe and there was a guy singing and playing guitar towards the end of our visit.
Nice pub in an Old Church building. Haggis Burger was great.
Great character pub, with a deal on lunchtime of a Play, Pint and Pie
Great small venue could see everything going on the stage, however could not understand why they played hellish boom boom music at a blues gig.
Dropped in for pint. Nice atmosphere. No Crisps or snacks. Had to choose something from menu to snack on. Hence 3 rating.
Enjoyable place, not much daylight. Has a burger with haggis in, which was a good taste experience but not a good eating experience - it got extremely messy quickly. Prices are good and drink selection is too.
Nice pub in an Old Church building. Haggis Burger was great.
