A simply wonderful experience. The staff are all very welcoming and take care of your every need. Jason cut my hair and he took time to listen to what I wanted and also offer his ideas. I was extremely pleased with my new hair cut and will be going back on a regular basis.
I had a hair make-over here a couple of weeks ago, cut half my hair off and then went for a wine-coloured dip dye. Could not be happier with the result! It's so rare to go to a salon and get exactly what you ask for...and more! But the lovely staff at opus made it happen!
Opus have been mine and my wife's hair dressers and in my case hair miracle worker for several years, following Jason to his new salon in Bramall from the previous one in Herald Green. Judging from the number of clients in the salon when I was in last week he has already created a list of very happy customers.
I visited the new look salon recently and loved everything about my experience there. Graham really listened to what I wanted and completely transformed my hair into an amazing 'Shades of Blue' extravaganza! I love it and the cut he did was excellent and really shows off my new shades. The salon and service is great and I'll definitely be back! Thanks!
I recently had the Nanokeratin straightening procedure done by the team at Opus. It is amazing! I spend less time on my hair and get more time in bed! The team were great and I would definitely recommend it.
Lovely staff. Lively atmosphere. Very busy so appointments nearly always necessary.
Does the job for hairdressing and all that jazz but they need more appointments.
I've never booked an appointment easily with Opus and always had to ask about other times and days that are free.
In conclusion, it's a good place but the amount of appointments available are absurd
been going to opus for quite a long time, the new premises in Bramhall are lovely, parking is great, a pay and display just seconds away. My daughter had her hair done for her prom recently and she looked stunning, definately recommend!
Love coming here the atmosphere is fab, great team and obvious they all have good work ethics, Milly and Jason have their heart and soul in the business.
Visited the salon for the first time today and I loved it. Busy, vibrant atmosphere with lovely friendly staff. Easy to park, centrally located and overall excellent experience. Left with a lovely new cut and colour and another appointment for 6 weeks.
Another fab cut and colour by Kelly. I wouldn't use anybody else.

I had my thick hair cut into an angled bob back in November. Unfortunately, the stylist cutting my hair straight away went for the razor without asking first if I was ok with it as it does cause split ends. She then kept getting pulled over to manage another stylist doing some colouring. We had already agreed that my hair would be cut whilst in a centre parting. After it was dried with a side parting, without thought, she continued to hack away on one side. It was fine until that point. I ended up going home with one side thicker than the other and long, wispy ends. I even showed a picture at the start and the end result was too thin in comparison. She did advise me to come back if I wasn't happy, but I didn't feel comfortable going back again. I know I should have said something at the time, but I thought I'd go with it and see what happens. I've now had my hair point-cut with scissors at another salon. It's a relief to finely get the haircut I wanted in the first place. The salon and the staff are lovely, however, my advice to Opus is that clients need the full attention of the stylist, so distractions and not allocating enough time and attention should preferably be avoided. Oh yes, and please ask your clients prior to cutting, if it's ok to use a razor.
