My husband was blessed to be in the care of Mt Laurel Recovery Center just over 3 years ago. The experience completely changed his life and that of our family. The structure, various therapies, and care for him have had a lasting impact. The campus is beautiful and the staff are caring and knowledgable. We live in Missouri and traveled back to Mt. Laurel last year for a reunion. It was great for my husband to reconnect with some of those who had such a great impact on his life. We are forever grateful. Highly recommend this wonderful program!

This is not a rehab for serious addicts. The lack of structure, oversight, and general supervision is deplorable. There is absolutely no family program and upon arriving to visit my brother, we were not greeted by anyone, were able to walk onto the campus without checking-in, seeing anybody, having any sort of meeting beforehand...nothing. We could have easily driven my brother out of there and no one would have known. Furthermore, my loved one and another patient were able to sneak things out of the kitchen at this rehab and begin to make their own alcohol on site. What the staff neglected to mention to us upon reporting what had happened was that they had also been able to get vodka from town to spike this homemade alcohol with. They had no car and were not permitted in town. So, how would one get vodka at a reputable, safe, well -managed and supervised facility? They wouldn't. We had experience with another rehab and the men couldn't blink without someone knowing because the facility was dedicated to protecting their patients.

the story is what occurred at Mt. Laurel in May 2020.
Nursing staff, the in house cook and two recovery techs were notably professional.

Not a place to send someone who is serious about recovery. Good place to get out of jail for 90 days though. The current director/ CEO or whatever he is, is obviously sleeping with staff. Numerous complaints filed but little to no action. My counselor was over worked but never complained even though I did.

It will be one of the cleanest and comfortable with many extra amenities you will find that excepts lower end insurance. The staff is cool and really nice, as most of them have been in our shoes. The therapist on the other hand had too many patients, which a few veteran therapists could handle but mine definitely could not. I never had any one on one time besides our scheduled appointments which was twice a week. He had no extra time to meet if you had an issue. Food was better then normal but still everything was processed. It was also very easy to sneak drugs in and many people were court ordered so they arent there to better there lives just yo stay out of jail. I personally saw drugs and could of got them in so easily. But other then that it is a great place where the staff cares and it is very comfortable. If your serious about getting clean those distractions shouldnt matterm. Ultimately its up to you no matter the place. I give it a 8 out of ten.

Mount laurel saved my life back in November. Even though I wasn't the preferred patient bc of my attitude. They were always kind and professional with great counselors and excellent staff. I would recommend this place to my friends and family because of the top notch treatment and counseling. Also, it was very balanced with groups and fun activities. If I ever relapse they would be the first place I would go back to and I've been to 12 other treatment centers and this was the best one yet. Thank you mount laurel! Love and miss you guys. Sorry for being uncooperative sometimes my detox was very rough. Ashley, debbie, and Mitch are just a few of the great staff working there that will drop whatever they're doing to help you and accommodate your needs. God Bless.

I was taken to Mt. Laurel my first time ever dealing with a rehab setting and my initial contact was very pleasant people were very welcoming but I believe that was all show. They tried cutting me off suboxone which I've been on for 10 years so you can imagine my misery and offered me no relief actually locked nurses station when i tried to ask for help. Meth was being used in lots of the rooms and male and females were sneaking having sex. I left after a week and they never told my family i left or where i was. Thank god i got out of there i hated it there

I was treated there mid December to February 2016. As Seabrook House West Recovery Center it was a outstanding experience. Much was learned. However, under Mountain Laurel Recovery Center the experience was not what was expected. It was based on a 28 day program, not the transitional program offered by Seabrook House. Most of the benefits given by Seabrook House was taken away from the Seabrook House residents and MLRC continually told us nothing will change. Everyday there were benefits taken away and changes that affected us were altered. In my opinion they are only in it for the money.
I would not recommend this recovery center.

I have been battling alcoholism for over 30 years. Mountain Laurel has brought me to a place where I can love and forgive myself. It also has provided me with all the tools to have a Spiritual experience and stay sober!

I'm thankful for everything and everyone at
mountain laurel. I mean every single person I have
met there. lts been a blessing to get to know you all.
lts been tough at times and still is but I don't think I
could've done it without you all. The community is
great! Since day 1. The staff has been excellent and
treated me like a person and not a drug addict. The
counselors are the best I've ever had. They went
above and beyond any expectations that I could've
dreamed for. Everyone from the cooks up to Terry. I
love you all and I must say that I am thankful for you
all saving my life!! # UNTILWE ALLWIN!
