Got a call from this company claiming to be on behalf of Scotiabank. I used to work as a telemarketer so I was trying to be nice and let the lady finish the first part of her presentation. Then I told her I understood what it was but I wasn't interested and I wouldn't want to waste any of her or my time. And the lady GOT MAD!!! I was completely polite and did not raise my voice throughout the conversation. She got mad and yelled at me, gave me an attitude and told me not to tell what to do. Then she angrily hung up on me while I was explaining that I'd just been being polite. It was very unpleasant! I'd thought about calling them back to file a complaint but it would have been a waste of time anyway. So this number is definitely on my block list!

Got calls behalf of Scotia life to take accidental coverage, basically a BUY or DIE scenario. They keep calling, explained don t need their services but they are bent on selling you a 10$ monthly the minimum at least, I don t mind having accidental coverage but the forced sales tactics they use is BS. You call in to cancel and explain what happened to another rep, you get attitude, arrogance, not interested to help you BS....overall it s BS. Next call I m suing this company for harassment.

Scotia bank uses them as a third party to harass customers into buying insurance products. I used to get upwards of five calls a week-- sometimes more than one a night; until I transferred all my RRSPs over to CIBC.
