5 stars for programming, unfortunately watching the shows if you are not in the stalls or in the front row of the central boxes is really penalized and therefore also the costs are excessive.

There is nothing to review about such a strange place. If you don't know what it is or you need someone else's opinion ... forget it and go shopping.
As for putting a single star on the short pants issue alone, it's ridiculous. There are rules: don't you like them? Go elsewhere. Nobody forces you. If, on the other hand, you want to participate, wearing long trousers does not seem unbearable torture to me. It's just a matter of choices.

The staircase always has an incredible charm, clean and friendly staff, the only drawback this season, a really hot heat, some air conditioning would have been welcome instead of having to spend time fanning, even for men in suits ...

If I hadn t seen more impressive theaters, it would have been the most impressive. We were at a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Rudolf Nureyev s birth. Awesome spectacle from amazing dancers.

Wonderful place, I went to see a ballet with my students. Fantastic experience even for non-enthusiasts and connoisseurs like me.

When you see the opera, it looks really amazing! The atmosphere, and the museum makes you fly in the past and understand how old that building is, how important it was and it is, and how great musicians, painters and artists had in the course of the history.
Just amazing, I love it!

The Teatro alla Scala, colloquially known as La Scala, is the main opera house in Milan. Considered among the most prestigious theaters in the world, for 242 years it has hosted the main artists in the international field of opera and classical music.

The building, designed by Giuseppe Piermarini and inaugurated in 1778, was built on the ashes of the previous Ducal Theater, which was destroyed by a fire in 1776; owes its name to the church of Santa Maria alla Scala, demolished to make way for the New Regio Ducal Teatro alla Scala [2] [3] inaugurated on August 3, 1778, under the then reign of Maria Theresa of Austria, with Europe recognized as composed for the occasion by Antonio Salieri.

Since its foundation it has been the seat of the homonymous choir, [4] of the orchestra, [5] of the corps de ballet, [6] and since 1982 also of the Philharmonic. [7] The theater complex is located in the square of the same name, flanked by the Casino Ricordi, now home to the La Scala Theater Museum.

What was to be a once in a lifetime experience turned out to be a great disappointment! We paid several hundred Euros for seats which turned out to have an obstructed view. The performance was Aida. The singing was nothing special and the singers were stilted in their performances. Go to La Fenice. Better venue, better performance, less cost.

Opera from the outside does not make such an impression, but after entering the building, something wonderful ... beautiful opera, huge stage, displays rehearsal of the show on the monitors. And in the opera you can admire the old costumes, props for performances, it's worth buying a ticket ...

A marvel, it is worth it. The guide service a bit 'poor and poorly prepared.

A fairly modest small lobby. But thanks to thoughtful internal logistics, there are no large congestion and queues. even in the buffet. Good acoustics on the main stage!

Only the exterior visited. La Scala for me always remains the theater par excellence.

As furniture is old, as it should be, the prices to enter vary, for the seats above (I've been there and you can't see very well) you pay less, for the seats under a little more. I advise you to go there only if you love opera because if you don't like it you could get bored a lot (as it happened to me).

The Teatro alla scala is really something unique, recently Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini was held, it was performed in a truly amazing way
