From the outside it looks like an anonymous building. 4 stars to trust for its interior and for the events of thick recurring

What about the Temple of Music. !!! special place that satisfies all the senses. A magnificent setting where red and gold intertwine to perfection. A unique place full of charm and magic, that magic that flows on the scores of musicians and that spreads in the air filling your soul !! You can not go to La Scala, at least once in your life !!!

I was disappointed in the possibilities of visiting the facility - the main hall was practically excluded from such a possibility. The object itself is very nice, of course.

It is so well known that there is little to say: it is one of the symbols of Milan, it is a splendid theater dating back to the eighteenth century and is known for the opera.

Unfortunately we could not do the guided tour because they were doing maintenance on lights and we only agreed if we accepted the gloom, which made us decide. That night there was a work and there were affordable tickets for our change, of course, not in very good places, but it was worth doing, we didn't do it for x matters. I can contribute that the environment is fantastic, for the history and buildings.

A little gem to visit at least once in a lifetime. The attached museum is interesting.

The theatro is not to miss for its historical value but i think it lost a lot of its standards. When i last visited in April 2018 the performance (Francesca da rimini opera) was very poor especially the orchestra and the leading soprano also the crowd, poorly dressed (some people were in jeans and sportswear), killed some of the place's charm

Of course. It's amazing. Breathtaking. Gorgeous. Rich in every conceivable term. Go and enjoy the show. Make sure you do go to the bar as well the mirror hall and decadent chairs truly make the moment a step into time.

This place was really awesome. The staff were very friendly even for a poor shod such as myself. Arrived in jeans and a polo, bought the cheapest nose bleed tickets they had at $15US Still everyone seemed plenty kind to us.

To see something in such a fancy place for $15US was really an amazing opportunity. I an grateful for it, really.

Just be prepared, those tickets you really can't see anything at all without standing up. And the next level of seats start around $225US. I have no clue what that seating is like though because the other options weren't clear to me.

If you aren't sure you like ballet or opera and you don't want to risk a bunch of money, just buy the nose bleeds and watch for 45min then leave. That's what we did.

Go at 7pm. They had tons of the nosebleeds still available.

The museum is very interesting to discover the history of the theater and some of its major composers and singers.
Small access to the boxes very nice to discover a very beautiful room with great acoustics

One of the most important symbols of Milan .. to see.

The theater par excellence: I've been there many times, both for the opera and for concerts: depending on the position with respect to the scene, the experience changes a lot (the too-side stages offer poor visibility), but it is enough to choose well and appreciate music and voice!

The exterior building is harmless. By cons you must see a show to appreciate the acoustics and appreciate the gigantism of the scene of la scala. Always a good time.

One of the best opera experiences. Bulletproof acoustics. Uncomfortable seating in the balcony. Prices are a bit steep.

Way, way overrated. Extremely overpriced. Give it a miss.

Amazing performance! Tickets were easy to come by, and not too expensive. The box office is to the left of the main entrance, you register yourself at a terminal at the top of the stairs, go downstairs to the box office, and the clerks speak a variety of languages and are very helpful and friendly. We spent 300 for 2 front row box seats, 2nd level. Simply amazing! If you appreciate the arts, take the time and go and see a show!

The theater is a nice building, but on the visit we were only able to peek in after a while in line because there was a rehearsal, so the price was too much for what you could see. However, afterwards, he accessed a series of rooms with some interest that also housed a large number of works of art related to the theater (portraits, busts, landscapes, furniture ...) that added interest to the visit.

On the other hand, virtual reality is nonsense, they sit you in an armchair and give you a virtual walk through the theater in the company of a dancer (in English or Italian)

Beautiful place, if you decide only to see opera you will see few rooms and balcony. You can download tourist guide from app store.

We went when the rehearsals were going on hence lights were not turned on , so could not experience the beauty , hence better check before buying the ticket if lights are turned on .

Because it is a unique place for history and tradition in music and theater.
