The room is majestic compared to the outside. On the other hand it is better not to have too big legs in Gallery ... Small flat for us who thought to sit side by side. A column separated us

It is the finest theater.
Be sure to wear a jacket.
The first floor seats aren't as big as I expected, so the middle seats on the back are better visible than on the front end.

For us Milanese when you say LA SCALA, this theater comes to mind even before the inclined structure to climb the slopes. It has existed for almost 250 years, offering opera and classical music. Owned by the municipality of Milan, it made history. It is worthwhile for everyone to go there at least once in their life. Symbol of beautiful Italy and Italians

The most beautiful theater in the world. Every time I enter this theater I think how lucky the city of Milan is to have such a jewel. The theater is gorgeous and the calendar of events, operas, concerts, ballets is amazing. La Scala is welcoming and always beautiful.

The best theater in Italy, although the level of performances has dropped significantly in the last two years. I attended two productions with a terrible cast and well-deserved boos ... unforgivable for Skala ...

Absolutely FABULOUS. we spent two hours there. a real happiness despite the REPETITIONS. Chance of luck there was a break to see a break between 1am and 2:30 am for lunch the auditorium is lit but in the darkness I think it is the preserve of wear. the little film proposed is to see to understand the history of the Scala of Milan I find it just a pity that the tribute is made mainly to Maria Callas because Renata Tebaldi deserves just as much the tribute that is the history of the Postwar Scala

The temple of world opera. Mixed audiences: international, upper bourgeois (the worst) and expert and critical enthusiasts. Quality programming with directors, screenwriters often at the top. Excellent the musical director Chaillu and the orchestra, exceptional the choir and the maestro Casoni. Prestigious and beloved venue, among the most beautiful in the world. Prices too high, despite some attempts at more accessible opportunities. The problem is some sponsors and some members of the Board of Directors, frankly reprehensible. But the imperishable memory of the master Toscanini remains.

Good memory of our January visit. Probably the best opera house in the world, expecially when it comes to Italian opera. The audience is very demanding and knows what to expect. Full of history and it feels.

One of the most well known operas in the world and it's fame is well deserved. Definetly a place not to miss in Milan. I reccomend watching a show instead of just visiting. Book in advance and bring formal wear.

I don't know if you already knew (probably yes if you attend theaters often) but there are displays in every place to read what the actors are saying on stage, finally! For the rest it is enough to say only that it is the Scala of Milan

It is one of the most prestigious theaters in the world. It has hosted the most important artists of opera and classical music for almost two and a half centuries. It was inaugurated in 1778 with a work by Salieri. It took its name from the Church of Santa Maria della Scala demolished to make room for it. Unfortunately it is not within the reach of ALL. Reserved only for the cream. 4 stars for this.

La Scala in Milan remains a myth, I imagined a more emotional place but it remains personal. Too bad the visit does not include the multitude of costumes that sleeps I do not know where .... but if you visit Milan it would be a shame not to visit this building.

The Teatro alla Scala in Milan is a place known all over the world, requested and appreciated by the best conductors. Seeing him, as a mere spectator of any work or ballet, the first impression is something unique as a splendor of furniture and construction that many of you will surely have known appreciated. But seeing him behind the scenes working internally (as an external firm) gave me the opportunity to see also how the activity of those who work there every day, whether as a master or as an artist, takes place. The musical instruments used and carefully stored, the painter who remodels a scene, the mask that is prepared to welcome guests. .... well, a review would not be enough, it would take a book! I like to think that other theaters in Italy are so "alive" too. A living culture!
