More than mythical place in Milan with a retro aristocratic atmosphere completely assumed. The room is beautiful and yet has not forgotten its popular side: all Milanese can attend performances thanks to some very affordable rates.

The place is always fascinating, the wonderful chandelier and the super-super-violinist violinist!

Nice little museum with history, but especially for opera fans, the major interest being to enter the theater box to see the auditorium (splendid indeed) ... So, 9 is a bit expensive. ..

Beautiful theater with wonderful history. You don't get an extensive tour, only access to a few suites with a view of the theater but there is a very nice museum and a free app with an audio tour.

The quality of the performances is certainly high, on the air conditioning there is still work to be done.

An extraordinary place where even in the afternoon the art reveals the divine.

Well maintained and cared for, one of the places to visit in Milan!

The temple of Milanese opera, great music and great tradition. An intense annual program of ballet works and concerts. It can be visited when there are activities, it offers an important musical museum.

I was lucky enought to watch the ballet rehersal...unreal!!!

What a beautiful venue! Even though it s a world renowned opera house, it s still a fantastic place for a symphony! It was a privilege to come here for a concert.

Don't expect to see much if you want to get cheap tickets. I picked up cheap tickets, got drunk on wine (whilst being judged by the nuns) and then slept through the first act. The second act was phenomenal and then I left in the next intermission for pizza and meloncello at Piz.

10/10 would recommend paying full price if you want to see more than the back of old people's heads/ a beautiful historic building.

The theatre itself is worth a visit, the trouble to get a ticket is not.
We went for a late afternoon concert for children. Despite the existence of a web portal for reservations, I dare you actually succeed buying a ticket. After a lengthy input of all your credit card data, verification codes and more, you will be directed to a page that tells you that you need to make some funky identification. As if getting money from you was not enough to entitle you to a simple entrance ticket.
We went instead to the ticket shop the day of the concert. In the morning, to make sure we could get one of the last tickets available.
The ticket shop does not open until 12.
At 12 a crowd builds up in the ticket shop, and it is not until 12:15 that someone tells us that the ticket counter is actually downstairs in another room.
There the clerk still insists we need to "register", that is, we need to give our private data to buy a ticket. People get nervous and eventually we get our ticket. In the chaos we get two normal entrances instead of a normal and a child. At that point it's too late.
The concert turns out to be nice, but the whole experience is appalling to say the least.

The name should be enough to convince you to drop by

The most important cultural institution in the city. Let's enjoy it.

One of the most prestige opera houses in the World. This year it celebrates 240 years anniversary and - I am sure - will offer something magnificent for new season, which starts on the 7th of December, the day of Saint Ambrose, patron of the Milan city.

It's a wonderful place. We have Leyla Gencer on the same wall as Maria Callas.

Wonderful on the inside. The outside doesn't even stand out. We weren't even sure if we got the right place. :)

Beautiful place, if you love opera, you must visit it

Was in the theater 05/13/19 at the instrumental concert. Tickets bought on the official website the cheapest ticket. When I visited, they rewrote the ticket to the ground, which was very nice. The staff of the theater attentive, carried out to the place. The uniforms of the majority were trousers and jackets, maybe because it was not a premiere and not an opera.

A Theater to visit, when there are operas. Without operas as it is in summer I do not recommend it. Only three boxes open and the rest that you can see is not the theater, it is the Museum. And they nail you to stand 5 minutes in 3 open boxes. Overbearing the surveillance personnel upstairs. Better wait and see an opera

Cute place. I came to see the show of cool and I was happy.

Because it makes you understand your dimensions of life.

It is worth watching a show, due to its historical landmark.
