Absolute top. Prima alla Scala in the stalls, central seats. Excellent representation of Ernani. Both the performers and the orchestra were fantastic. Although I'm certainly not an expert.

Wonderful historical theater in neoclassical style, ancienne regime atmosphere. I was there for Traviata by Verdi. As a non connoisseur, I consider it a good level performance although the tenor was a last minute substitution arrived by plane by Berlin in the morning. I saw the opera from the highest balcony but I must say that either the scene or voices were perfectly visible and audible respectively. Highly recommended. Sorry for the trivial review.

Even just the atmosphere you can breathe from the stage is worth the ticket price.
Places with reduced visibility are not recommended, you risk not really seeing anything

Very important and fascinating structure ... almost an icon of Milan ... I would say a very important stop for those visiting Milan thanks to the location ... in fact it is located just behind the Vittorio Emanuele gallery .... Very beautiful structure also the museum that it's right next door .... I would say just not to be missed ....

I went with my school to see The Barber of Seville, it was spectacular!

Always exciting, beautiful and cared for. Poor visibility in some locations pays the price of a historic environment. However, it is always worth it.

No show but looked in a box ...

Because we couldn't visit it because it was closed for security reasons because CR7 MESSI and MANY FAMOUS PEOPLE waxed so closed

The facade is very modest. But after passing the entrance to the museum and the first room, we come across the performance hall where several balconies are open. The charm operates! That's wonderful !

Very pleasant experience with a first opera visit to the Teatro alla Scala.

For such an important theater, the acoustics are not excellent, the prices in the stalls are inaccessible and in some places the maintenance leaves something to be desired with visible molds.

Even we dont understand italian, it was great experience. My husband saw same opera in our country. We can understand easily. Before you attend opera, how about read a story of opera. It was started at 8pm. They operated twice on sat. We visited at night time. Any place can listen very clear sound. Cause the scala was perfect for opera house.

The most beautiful stage in the world opens in an anonymous square. It is only worth visiting it outside the calendar.

The sound is great. Very ascetic. The beauty of the Vienna opera and the opera is not garnier. What matters is what happens on stage. Translation into English only. Attentive, demanding audience. Good sectional coat checks. A bit challenging to catch a cab afterwards in mid winter , but the warm glow of the beautiful music and voices should serve well.

In one word a UNFORGETTABLE. I personally will never forget this evening amongst the Italians at the La Scala Opera House, it was visually and in every other way beyond. Elegant, exquite yet intimate, and drenched in Italian Operatic Tradition. The audaince is just as much as part of the stage as the performance.

Building of great historical importance, attached museum a bit small but undoubtedly interesting, museum staff available, very well prepared and undoubtedly composed of great fans of what is treated. If you go to Milan I highly recommend it.
