La Scala theater in the center of Milan offers wonderful and varied shows, operas, ballets, concerts. Recommended at least once. Christmas concert 2019

I was lucky to buy a ticket online and see the "view from your seat". I hoped it was inaccurate, since it was showing just 1/3 of the stage, but it was true to life. Ended up standing (ticket was in the 2nd row of the 3rd balcony - close to the stage) but still, it was worth it for me to be in Italy and have a grandiose experience like this. The ambiance and energy was wonderful and all the ushers I spoke with knew some English which helped me feel less intimidated. The opera ended at midnight and Milan is so lively - even on a Sunday. All in all, a great night.

I saw the ballet "the lady of the camellias" an exceptional masterpiece I would say! Too bad for the side position of our assigned place ..

Nothing really special, at least from the outside...

Temple of lyric music counterbalances the public power (Town Hall) that faces the other side of the square called Piazza Scala with the statue of Leonardo in the middle. 2019 will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci

Staff was accommodating about needing a wheelchair, making sure up front so I could see. The museum is lovely. Learned a lot about famous composers and opera singers. Recommend highly.

Splendid ... to visit the Scala with an air of Maria Callas ... pure happiness

What to say. It is one of the few institutions that works great for lucky users (but that's another story). The excellence of the art represented here has served the best.

I came to Milan's Scala to listen to Don Pasquale. It was beautiful and the place is as impressive as it is legendary. We were in the upper galleries in front of the stage which allows us to have good acoustics even if the seats are more economical. We spent a very pleasant evening.

LA SCALA DIRTY SECRET.
Almost all of the seats in the top 3 teirs on each side of the house are 'blind' to the stage, one can just see at the front row row of said seats people in back rows CANNOT see AT ALL! How can they have the nerve to sell these seats to unsuspecting people knowing full well that they would have to stand and tower over people in seat in front? If this had been the UK I would have taken them to court for false advertising and failing to warn you about the lack of view OF THE STAGE yes, THE STAGE. The only thing the seats are any good for is to invite blind or partially blind people to come and sit in them to enjoy the sound part of the opera, free of charge! I dare any person from the management to answer this!

The theater and performance are good. There is no usual front entrance, beautiful staircases with mirrors.

This year the first one was fantastic la giovanna d'arco and there is no smell of mold

La Scala Museum. Very beautiful allows you to discover the performance hall and soak up the history of this place

To us who are lucky enough to see the "TEATRO MASSIMO" in Palermo EXCELLENT even in acoustics it seems to us an anonymous condominium ...

Retro, the place seems to have frozen. Can be a little too much?

To me the Alla Scala Opera house (Teatro Alla Scala) is the No.1 in Italy.

Unique! Very exciting and impressive visit. A memory for a lifetime.

Insanely beautiful theater, bewitching operas, the whole building and lodges convey the history of the theater's centuries. But you need to choose places very carefully, lodges are a closed circuit and from the second row you can see not the whole scene, especially from the place closer to the stage. When choosing a ticket on the site, it is possible to see the perspective of the view and, if it shows that you see half the scene, then it will be so.

Obviously at the Scala theater, it's not cheap, but nice, great drink and tasty finger food.
