I've been here a couple of times this year, once to see COC's The Nightingale and once to see COC's Hadrian. This building is absolutely gorgeous. My experience was made even better by the fact that Hadrian was phenomenally mesmerizing, but that takes nothing away from the stunning beauty of the architecture. I've had seats in Ring 3 and Ring 4. Both sections afford good views of the stage. I had no problems reading the surtitles and was still able to enjoy the costumes and set designs. The acoustics are excellent and the seats are comfortable. Don't drive there. The Centre has direct access to Osgoode Station, so it makes transit access too convenient to bother with a car. I'm a member of nearby University Club, so dining before the show is easy. The Four Seasons seems to have great access to everything for a fantastic night out. I can't wait to be back for The Nutcracker later this year!

What a beautiful place. The outside is a bit drab but the inside takes your breath away and makes you feel welcome which is great when you're there to see a show, you want to be comfortable which the seating is and you want to enjoy the overall experience which we did.

Saw the Alice in Wonderland ballet show. The place is gorgeous, it was all of 6 or 8 minutes away from Union Station by the subway. Service was excellent, friendly, informative and professional. Impeccable cleanliness and upkeep through out the building. Everything is expensive here, but you should know that just by looking at the place, but the shows themselves are accessible to all people of all walks of life. One of the biggest and happiest surprises I had was seeing the diversity of people from all ages and races, all smiling and having a wonderful time enjoying the art of ballet. Truly wonderful.

My second time at the opera and I was late to it. I forgot they only let you in during intermissions or something like that. Anyway I thought it was pretty cool. The set design was out of this world and the story of Rusalka was refreshing compared to modern stories. I also ran into a few friends inside which was nice.

Nutcracker was amazing. New and inventive ways of telling the story. Cool technical effects. The box seats were definitely worth it and as always the concession was expensive. The honeycomb is made from the bees they keep on the roof and is so yummy.

Great show and impressive building. Very expensive, however. We paid over $100/ticket for nosebleed seats (although looking down from the top tier was actually and interesting perspective)

Beautiful location to see a performance. We saw The Nutcracker and it was wonderful. The seats are spacious and the reception area is large with floor to ceiling windows that offer nice views of University Avenue. Food and drink is not permitted in the theatre.

Very cool venue. 5 stars for the hospitality and the extra leg room withing the rows. I'm a tall man and find my legs being cramped against the row in front of me. There was at least 4 or 5 inches of extra space!

One of the few buildings in Toronto that has incredible architecture that uses lighting and glass to make it very special. I've been here a few times for industry events, and the lobby area transforms into a great area to socialize. - A Richard Trus review

We saw the Nutcracker at Christmas with seats around the pit. Not too sure what to call these seats but there were six people to a box. What a set up. If you want drinks or food be sure to pre order as it's a quick collection at intermission. We felt sorry for everyone who hadn't thought ahead.

Amazing space for opera, music and ballet! The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts is located in the heart of Toronto! Many restaurants and shops nearby. Accessible by subway and ample parking in the building and area.

I have had an exciting experience here. Pleasant facilities, spectacular stage, perfect stage equipment, great orchestras and actors. Thanks to them, I had a fantastic time. Especially, the tenor of Rodolfo Station was amazing (what I saw was Puccini's La Boheme) In Canada, we saw the first opera, with English subtitles on stage. There are some people who think that opera is in Italian and it is difficult and boring, but in real time English subtitles appear and you can enjoy funny opera without getting bored. It is very convenient to visit the location. It is close to city hall, and station is near. The Eaton Center is also nearby so you might enjoy eating and shopping after sightseeing. This is a free series of vocals, piano, jazz and dance. Please refer to homepage.

What a beautiful venue! We saw a spectacular performance of The Nutcracker on December 31st! A special Mother and Daughter outing to end 2019. Give yourself some extra time if you have mobility issues, there are no restrooms on the ground floor.

Admittedly, I m biased because I work here, but this is one of the best theatres in North America for grand synthetic productions such as opera and ballet. The acoustic isolation between the stage and the outside world (the whole building literally floats!) makes it a whole special world for the appreciation of musical art forms. The technical staff are fantastic, and there is no other place in Toronto you can get such a diverse offering of world class performance!
