Fantastic. The interior is richer than the Duomo in decoration and detail. There was no queue (I used Firenzecard) and the staff provide aprons for those who do not attend the dress code (they are strict with that). The garden is fresh and has a nice view of the architectural ensemble. Must-go for architects / artists.

The Basilica is well maintained and cared for. A real pearl. The thing that left me pleasantly surprised was the application created specifically to leave the visitor autonomous in the path. Inside there are historical frescoes and tombs and funeral monuments of important personalities (Dante, Alfieri and Michelangelo). Important is the refectory where inside there are Vasari's Last Supper and Taddeo Gaddi's Upper Room.
I opted for a truly engaging evening visit. The Basilica is present inside the Firenze card.

Absurd, another place of worship for a fee, if you want to come and visit and gather in prayer you have to pay for the ticket. Of course, to play sull'attenuante and leverage on scruples, if you go to watch the Mass no ticket free, but you have to always look carefully before you are eligible and to turn his head three times on the right and three to the left, powerful cameras could detect infractions. The way in which anyone now clings to the citizen's wallet is petty, I can't bear the fact that the church, already rich in his own, grows to let you enter his house ignoring the duty of hospitality; once it was not so it is Jesus has shown it kicking in the butt the greedy merchants. Now with the story of the costs and without shirking anything from your status quo, you become this and more

A Franciscan basilica, very interesting to visit, because here you will find some great works of art and you will run into the graves of several of the protagonists of the Renaissance like Michelangelo, Galileo or Dante Alighieri, to mention some. There you can see works by Donatello, Giotto, Bruneleschi or Vasari, without mentioning them all. The basilica is from the XXIII century and Gothic structure. Do not forget to visit it that does not disappoint.

Definitely worth the entry price. It includes many chapels and gardens not to mention ornate tombs of some of the most important people from Florence. We spent 2 hours here and could have spent even more time in the gardens. 10/10 would recommend
