Magnificent place on the Stan 'square ... facades to admire by night, with sublime lighting and the sumptuous interior chandeliers (visible from the outside) which sparkle a thousand lights ... a varied and very often accessible to all ... and punctual events very nice that '' open '' a place that might seem '' inaccessible '' to everyone (concerts, Halloween party ...)

The plus: Decor, gilding, moldings, woodwork and tapestries make of place a real reference remained in its juice of the time. Incredible capacity 1111 seats!
The least: the balconies of the sides do not allow to see the complete scene (forced to stand up to see at least half of the scene). Chairs very uncomfortable ... but if we love tradition, we go back to the past!

elitism and very poor management of places at the meeting! Complete and all in all ridiculous antipathy of a manager who gives herself more importance than she does!
But champagne in between possible and still water at 5

Lovers of culture and opera, choose another place

Superb building that sublimates the shows that are produced there. Small flat on the high side places that allow only to see the scene in full.
If you can book your places online, it's practical and the programs are well presented.

We went to the Opera for the Halloween concert, this place operates a magic that embraces you, moldings, gold leaf and mural, just the room is a show before the show. The orchestra settles down, a cacophony mastered, the conductor in grand general behind his desk, 3 wands and all of a sudden, the silence ... It follows the first notes of a symphony that we will absorb through all the pores of our skin. Being more used to rock concerts, I did not think that a visit to the Opera would do me any good and would give me so much pleasure. I will definitely return. The only downside, the place for the legs is a bit limited.

What good is it to sell places where you can't see the scene?
In addition, the employees who manage the placement are cold and not sympathetic towards a change of place requested.

Very disappointed with this Opera, yet I almost tour those of France.

Very beautiful opera, I went there in 2019 with my school, we watched a play on Cinderella, very well produced by the way. The guide who showed us around the Opera was very kind and funny. On the other hand, it was very hot where I was installed; that is to say the Chicken Coop. But otherwise, I spent a wonderful evening there!

Magnificent opera house located on Place Stanislas in Nancy. The performances are of high quality. To see just for the building and its interior even if you are not a fan of this kind of shows.

Beautiful historic setting for concerts, opera, or other events such as shows or sometimes live radio broadcasts. Always nice to combine the beauty of the performance in a room that alone justifies the displacement. Some traces of time, but historic and new are difficult to reconcile!
