The Ontario ARC building is a OK size building very confusing to get around if you haven t been there too often or a lot and the staff can be kind of rude sometimes. And some of them are generally nice too I think overall it is A-OK place in gently really clean and it helps a lot of people in need that have developmental handicaps that need some extra assistance

Have worked with Ontario ARC for about 15 years in conjunction with my son who has severe autism. Over the years, I have had several service coordinators and all have been top notch. Very caring, and seem to really connect with each individual they work with, I've also had excellent experiences with the rec activities OARC puts together for kids AND adults with special needs. I've also had experience with OARC day programs and with community hab staff.

I'm sure like any job where the staff is only able to paid little more than minimum wage, you are liable to find a few slackers or those doing the bare minimum or worse, but I would say at least 95% of my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive ones.

The staff at Ontario ARC go above and beyond for the individuals in their programs every single day! So many unique and fun programs, too! You can see the love and respect for the individuals in all interactions.

ARC is a great place to donate your time and money. Since not having personal experience with myself or a family member using their services, I was surprised to learn just how many services they offer!! Every person that I have met that is employed there is so friendly! As I walk through the halls and see the clients happy activities it truly puts a smile on my face! Kudos to all involved!!
