Horrible experience through and through with onsite neonatal. I was extremely unimpressed with the doctors that looked after my twins in particular the doctors that looked after my little girl in the NICU. They were short with answers and never gave updates unless prompted. fast forward to our ridiculous robbery of an overpriced bill. They absolutely REFUSED to work with us on a payment plan. Refusing to let us go less than $120 a month in paying them. Even during the pandemic. Horrible customer service and disguising billing department. We ended up asking to be sent to collections because we would rather work with them than continue to be harassed by onsite neonatal. After asking to be sent to collections they kept calling me! Awful.
Billing department was wonderful in helping get my claim paid by the insurance company so I owed them the least amount possible. I didnt do anything they took it upon themselves. I didnt see any issues with the charges on the bill. The hospital made me aware of all that would need to happen after my baby was born and what to contact the insurance company and make sure was covered while at the hospital vs not at the hospital. My son came home happy and healthy!
They finally finalized my bill over a year later after all the insurance adjustments. I was happy to make payments but they refused to take anything under $50 e we I told them I cannot afford. They told me they were going to send the bill to collections. Oh well.
This is a group of physicians which just happened to be associated with the hospital where we had our child. I wanted to share that this is the kind of healthcare providers I want to deal with! We ended up with $3,000 in medical bills from our child through Onsite Neonatal and they were PROACTIVE in helping us deal with the insurance company so that they (Onsite) got paid and that we personally did not have to pay for the services. Onsite filed (with our permission) an appeal with our insurance company. They ended up getting paid by the insurance company and not out of our pockets. Awesome!
3,000 for a newborn hearing test. The hospital is sneaky and allows them in your room. They pose as if they work for the hospital. Very scary that this is allowed.
Onsite Neonatal takes advantage of new parents! The day our daughter was born (after over 24 hrs of labor) a women came into our room to do the hearing test. She did not explain she was not associated with the hospital. She did not explain the service was out of network. She did say the test was non-invasive and state mandated. I wish I had asked questions or pushed back. Three months later I received a bill for almost $500 for a 5 min hearing test! After many months of back and forth phone calls with both neonatal and the insurance it is still unresolved. The people I spoke to at Onsite Neonatal were incompetent at best and now I am forced to file a appeal to my insurance on my own. Please if you are finding this review before agreeing to a simple hearing test, REFUSE! Your pediatrician can perform a much cheaper test and bill it correctly. The hospitals should be ashamed for allowing this company to prey on its patients!
I have had the same experience as other people! They keep giving me different amounts that I owe them. When I talk to my insurance they say I don t owe them anything. I don t understand how they get away with this! I have been dealing with them for almost a year.
Thank you google reviews! This section saved me aggravation. They came in for my babies hearing test, asked if they were in network, they didn't know. Refused the hearing test from them and will schedule thru my own pediatrician that's IN NETWORK. You can refuse and have it done with your own in network Dr.
Received a call and voicemail from this company. They didn t leave a name, number, or ask for me by my name. Just stated I need to call them, left a reference number, and then hung up. Based on all these negative reviews, I will not be calling them back! They sound like crooks!
Same experience as most people here. They came in to my hospital room post delivery and I was not clear they were not a part of the hospital and in network. I was also not clear it was optional for me to waive the hearing test. I received a $1400 bill in the mail and after discussing this with the insurance company and confirming they would not cover the expenses Onsite dropped the fees to $132. I honestly just feel violated by them. There are so many things for new parents to figure out and they re just preying on them. I wish pascack valley would end their relationship with them Additionally the young woman who conducted the test was annoying and brought too much anxious energy to the otherwise peaceful mother baby room
