Great tapas place. Try the meatballs! Also the scallops. The ambience is great.
Romantic spot. Delicious food. Great service. Fair pricing (only the cocktails and wines by the glass seem over priced). Had the Lentil soup, Pan Tomate, Pulpo, Gambas al Ajillo, Chorizo, and a Spanish draft beer (Mahou) and everything was spot on.
This restaurant has great Tapas and an even better decor and feel. I have been here many times and just sat at the bar and had great conversations with the bartenders!
WORST PLACE EVER! MANAGER IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.
Always great lunch menu, good dry sangria, and a wonderful atmosphere
I just love it. Good food, the flamenco dancing is spectacular. The service is great .I'll be back soon,it was just great.
I loved everything about it..the food, ambiance, service. The portions are tight for the prices they charge.
One of the best place in the city to get tapas. Delicious food, nice selection of drinks, super friendly staff. One of my favorite: chorizo sandwich at lunch. So good!
Gourmet or not, this is what you have to do in New York. Knowledge, fun, and some of the best I have ever eaten. Really let me want to go home, I sold the house and moved to the village!
A perfectly little tapas spot for a girls night. Good food and wine selection. Bustling atmosphere without feeling too loud or crowded.
It's easily the best restaurant in the area, the meal was perfect and the staff are so kind. My son spilled his water and I began to clean it. When the waiter saw he rushed over to help and replaced the plates.
Great Authentic Spanish Cuisine !
Excellent varieties of tapas.
Go for happy hour and you won t be disappointed. Good portions and extensive wine selection.
Stumbled into this place looking for a place to eat in the area. Not a fan of the youth scene in the neighborhood. Place is Spanish with Tapas, some of them unusual. The lamb skewers were absolutely outstanding. The potatoes were good actually. So was the stew with fried egg. Authentic. Prices are about sander not cheap The drinks were good they actually had a good ports. Staff was very nice we made new friends. Loud but not as loud as the places nearby which we checked out. They were unbearable.... I guess I should add that we spent 2 weeks in Spain again recently. This place made us feel like we were in Barcelona again. Very cool.
Amazing, I have been costumer for so many years, it's always great, food , drinks everything is great
Delicious. ..Ideal to go with friends to hang out and talk. Note: Make a reservation in advance.
Check in advance when they have live music and dance. Liked it s lot
Sangria that's not sweet, bacon wrapped almond stuffed dates and chorizo with a beautiful parsley sauce garnish. GO NOW!!!!
Wonderful, many times there and Every time fresh and tasty. I strongly recommand
Great food great atmosphere and moderately priced for being the city
Exquisite all of good taste excellent food and cordial attention
One of my favorite places for tapas...good beer and food.
The place itself is a very nice ...kind of vintage a very nice enjoyable ambiance. The service was on point, food was good but i had better paella, it was also small for 2 people as it is the minimum require to order it.sangria was ok, it can be improved. Still for spanish food not a bad place.
Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Superb food, great atmosphere.
Highly recommend reservations!
Food and service is consistently good, despite this we've never had a problem getting a table even on a Friday or Saturday night. Fiance and I did New Year's Eve here and it was a really awesome, intimate experience. It wasn't terribly expensive, they served their regular menu, and the owner came out and threw lots of party favors at the patrons as it got closer to midnight. Lots of sangria and poppers without the mess of times square made for a pretty memorable night :)
Service was good, however the paella for three didnt have enough seafood and the rice was slightly burned. The bread at the beginning was also cold.
The food was tasty and comes out quickly. The shrimp in garlic was mt favorite dish - simply to make and easy to screw up too, but they succeeded.
The flamenco dance and music were great entertainment, but don't expect yo have a conversation, b/c utf us really loud.
The white sangria was subpar.
Great overall experience.
Great place for tapas and drinks! Great wine selection and atmosphere. They have live music at least once per week.
Good spanish food and a nice decor is what I like about it. Rest are just ordinary!
Nothing that I would drool over!
Great happy hour and really good appetizers in a really comfy setting. Paella was also really good, though lacked the socarrat that you can find elsewhere.
I came here for a celebration with my husband and we had an amazing time. We started at the bar where we had some happy hour Dates wrapped in bacon delicious, though I usually prefer cheese to almonds in the middle. The sangria was great - not too sweet and a generous helping of fruit. The arroz (pictured) was so delicious.
There were few veggie plates and nothing for vegans.
The Monday-night Flamenco show was incredible. I highly recommend and will be returning soon.
This place is nothing short of amazing!
Whether you re sitting bar style, accompanied by Jacob (who might I add, has been with the establishment for 11yrs and is absolute joy to converse with) or at a table, the service is superior.
This Spaniard, Mediterranean feel is the perfect setting for either a intimate work/play combo.
At happy hour or dinner, this place is bumping. However, you can catch a more mellow vibe during your lunch time if you prefer.
Loved it. The food is delicious. The staff is amazing!
This place was pretty nice. Cocktails were good but and the ambiance is cool.
Fantastic tapas!! Wonderful cozy vibe, great food and drinks, excellent service.
Great place to go with a group and order ALL THE TAPAS. We tried just about everything and it was all delicious.
We came here on a Friday evening and were seated immediately, which was pleasant. The service was attentive, the drinks were good. The shrimp in olive oil was great, and was made so much better with their bread. We had also ordered the albondigas and a Spanish omelette, out of which we liked the albondigas but the omelette was a little dry for our liking. Overall, it was a good meal.
Insanely good Spanish food wine! Try the Galerna Verdejo!
Great environment, good services and a very fair menu . I had a combo -gazpacho soup and bacalao sandwich with salad - wonderful . Also had a sangria . Super !
Truly spannish food. Scallops, calamaris and jamon were super yummy, highlights for me. Very good atmosphere and nice wine selection.
loved it. one of these places where you could feel spain culture. running flamenco show every monday. make sure you book in advance it fills in very quickly
Sala is great, amazing food, wonderful staff and they will most certainly make you feel at home. We come here as often as possible as it's such an amazing experience. Thank you to David and all the amazing staff...
Great atmosphere, we made reservations they got us a nice spot, place is the right size for a Monday crowd wait for the flamenco live show, musicians and Bailaora where great, food was delicious and we enjoy checking all the small details on the building that make it special , recomendable 100%!!!
The best tapas in NYC. Service, food, and decor are on point. Never disappoints.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, paella and grilled calamari were both amazing
One of my favorite tapas places in the city. Vibrant atmosphere, good decor, excellent food. Highly recommend the Chorizo Frito (sausage), Patatas Bravas (potatoes) and the must-have Datiles (dates wrapped with bacon)
I went here during pride with a big group, just stumbled upon this little gem. The food was amazing. My friend and I split the fried goat cheese and it was honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. The asparagus was also amazing, and the atmosphere was so cosy. Service was awesome as well, our server was very sweet! I would visit here again!
Now this is what we call authentic Spanish food! A beautifully set restaurant with amazing service, incredible food and great wine list! Carlos our waiter was turning this visit into a holistic experience!
Matt choi fav tapa place. Paella there is good. Said his fav date spot
Happy Hour is only from 5 - 7pm, but if you can grab a spot by the bar, the 2 for one wine and sagrias are worth it! The bacon-wrapped dates and Spanish tortillas are some of the best in the city. Great for a small group or after-work happy hour.
Delicious food. The atmosphere was amazing. Perfect for a date. It was all romantic with brick and small white lights. Great place to bring a friend to get drinks with after work since they have lots of wines for happy hour. That and Sangria!!
Interesting place. Food was good, but not great. What it lacked culinary, it made up with in atmosphere, decor, and amazing white Sangria. The restaurant is loud during peak eating hours, so not the best place for a first date, but definitely a good place to meet friends you're already comfortable with
Great tapas. My girlfriend had a good red wine while I had a spicy margarita that was phenomenal. Atmosphere was quiet.
Only downside was that, while the service at the beginning was good, at the end of the meal we had difficulty getting our check, and it felt like they basically forgot we were there. We probably could have left without paying the bill and nobody would have been the wiser.
I ordered the chicken, rice and eggs and it was inedible. The rice was hard and the chicken was just bones. They took back my order and said they d order something else for me. I ordered the burger medium and it was so rare the meat was falling off the knife. For the price the brunch is great for the drinks but not the food.
After eventually talking to a waiter who was carrying no menus, I thought I should just order now rather than waiting even longer for him to return. This was a big mistake though, as the Bloody Mary was ordinary and cost $14. It wasn't even mentioned on the menu, nor was vodka.
It was a very long wait to ever talk to waitstaff and they sometimes doubled up, visiting a minute after their colleague had already visited.
All the drinks had ice but our table had no coasters or even napkins, so the condensation spread onto my phone then dripped down onto my outfit. It put me in a nihilistic mood that was more consistent with that of the waitstaff.
Tapas are great here. Also recommend their drink options from the bar.
Beautiful, dimly lit atmosphere. Seated quickly around 10pm on a Friday night. Very polite and friendly service. The food instantly took me back to Spain, so delicious, high quality, and prices were OK too! Looking forward to going back.
Didnot like the cold sandwich. The bread was too hard
A little on the pricy side but we'll worth the money for a night out. Dishes are well balanced and packed with flavour. Most of the wait staff are friendly and helpful.
I came to this place and everything turned out to be awesome. David is our bartender and he is awesome. Will definitely come back just for David!
The 2 stars is honestly for the service. The drinks and the patata bravas were okay, but our server was incredibly rude. I usually tip AT MINIMUM 20%, and still wanted to give him less. He was rude to me and my party, and the service was so incredibly slow. It took me 2 hours to order 3 drinks - and we were overcharged. Never coming back.
Great tapas. Ideal setting for large (i.e. indecisive) groups. Literally every tapa we tried tasted good to great. The flan is to die for.
Although this place is not authentic Spanish, the dishes are edible. I had setas, which were good but the paella did not have authentic zafran taste or much taste for that matter. Tapas in Spain are free with every drink but at this place you must pay, which us fine...just don't call them "tapas". The white sangria was not impressive at all, it was rather weak. I will not be returning.
Good Vibe, the food is a little salty. I had the Plato Fiambre Espanol, everything was good on that platter. Gambas al Ajillo was very salty.
I would recommend the Plato Fiambre Espanol.
Such a great find, food was unbelievable good and it came out very quickly... we went on a Monday night which happens to be when their Flamenco show is. Great music, dancing and vibes all around!
Great food, great ambiance, great Sangrias. It gets pretty loud though.
Pretty good - the shrimp in garlic is amazing, as is the mushroom dish. Sangria was delicious!
One of my favorite places in the city for Tapas. The service is amazing and atmosphere relaxing and welcoming. I always have the fried goat cheese with honey it's one of my favorites. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Been here a few times. Good tapas food. Staff very friendly and helpful
