Nice place, especially with children. Service was fast and friendly for young and old. Pancakes are fine. Well invested and tasty. Nice that in the winter weather a wood stove was burning to get warm. The playground is also passable with less (wet) weather and are things that children can play with.
This place is very nice to relax, to eat or to have something to drink.
Tables were clean this time and we were helped quickly despite the fact that there were quite a few people.

Our expectation at under the plane trees was an accessible restaurant where we can enjoy good food for a good price.
While the food was not dirty it is below average compared to the competition in the area. Especially considering the price, which is at least just as high. The prices on the website are also not in line with the menu.
The carpaccio salad was mainly a plate of arugula, again not dirty but certainly not worth 15 euros. The uncle jan burger was also tasty, but not nearly as good as is available in the immediate area for the same money.
Furthermore, the tables were dirty. for me the staff does not have to be perfect but cleaning the tables after eating there seems to me standard. A positive point is the location.

About the divorce for children and adults, great idea! People without children are therefore more relaxed. I don't understand why people are so upset about it? After all, they are about four tables for a group without children, and at least 15 for groups with children (what's the problem?). In the back is also a nice place where children can play. Everyone happy.

My favorite place. I have been coming here since 13 years. With my now adolescent son, who likes to come here for a man's exploit;) he is too old for the rest. Fortunately I still have one of 6, who also likes it very much. Stefan or Stephan, the location manager is extremely suitable for the profession. He knows how to make guests feel at home through his attentive approach :)

We tried the 'uncle Jan' burger and a small carpaccio salad. It tasted delicious, but the hamburger was served on a slice of bread and was just big enough to cover half the bread. The amount of carpaccio also left something to be desired. That together with 4 drinks quickly came together at 40 euros.

Nice location at the care farm but very strange that part of the tables is reserved only for guests older than 12 years. On a busy day, I and my 8-year-old son sat down at one of those tables and were kindly asked to really sit at the back of the store.
Incomprehensible to me and it smells of age discrimination. I really don't see why someone of 13 can sit there and someone of 12 can't. If it was reserved for the disabled or something like that, then I understand, but the 12-year limit is incomprehensible to me.

Under the plane trees chosen as final destination for our family day.
Due to a misunderstanding we were actually expected a day later and at that moment a big party was going on. Despite the crowds we could still go and we were served in the most friendly manner. Hats off for the ministry and the kitchen that this group of 23 people did not feel for a moment too much on this, for them anyway, busy evening!

Nice and friendly catering, in the nature of Spaarnwoude. A bit on the price (4 coffee and 4 apple pie with whipped cream = 26 euros).
Apple pastries were richly filled with pieces of apple, but in my opinion it was not completely cooked at the bottom, unfortunately that happens with many restaurants.
As a tip: visit the small shop on the side for all kinds of delicious (organic) products.
