OncoResponse Inc., an immuno-oncology company located in Houston, Texas, has partnered with MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) to deploy a unique and transformational approach to cancer therapeutic monoclonal antibody and target discovery. The company licensed the I-STAR™ platform, developed and validated by Theraclone Sciences of Seattle, to interrogate the human memory B-cell repertoire of cancer patients who are considered “Elite Responders” to immunotherapy; as such, their own adaptive immune system responded to immunotherapy stimulation in a way that achieved curative or durable responses.
