I love coming here after a long day for a nice relaxing workout. The instructor is very knowledgeable and always makes me feel comfortable and confident. I feel stronger in only the few months I ve been doing Pilates.

Outstanding! Depth of knowledge regarding Pilates...

Outstanding! Depth of knowledge regarding Pilates, the spine, movement, and all-around fitness are hallmarks of this local business owner and her staff. The facility is inviting, clean and very well equipped with the only the best equipment available. The new location is incredibly convenient and has ample parking. Mount Dora, and the surrounding area, is truly lucky to have such a fitness resource available so close.

I started Pilates/On the Run Fitness last April and am so happy!
I have improved my posture, core strength, body awareness, and have been able to take the Pilates principles to my other areas of exercise.
Vickie is passionate about her profession and stays true to her Mission Statement.

Pilates is an outlet for my wife to get away from ...

Pilates is an outlet for my wife to get away from the hustle and bustle, so I was surprised she invited me to come with her a few times. However, I was more surprised when the classes I took actually kept me engaged and the owner (who also taught our class) made sure I felt comfortable doing the things I was doing since I was new at it. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to dip your toes in to this type of exercise. My wife, who is much more advance than I loves it too, so if you're not a newbie, check it out too.

Instructors are well educated and very motivating....

Instructors are well educated and very motivating. The class is both challenging and enjoyable. My core strength and flexibility have really improved. The studio is clean and the equipment is well maintained.

"You are only as young as your spine is flexible." 4 years ago- my spine was like a 90 year old woman... Thankfully- On the Run Fitness and Pilates changed that.

Every session - my body improves. I am in the best shape of my life-but its more than that. I understand my body and my muscles.. My posture improved 100% which led to less back and neck pain. It is an exercise that you can do at any age.

I love Pilates at 'On the Run'. Vickie Blate, the owner is a complete professional, and I feel totally confident in her instruction. I have been taking Pilates with her for more than 5 years, and I always look forward to my sessions. I am stronger, more supple and happier since I started working with her. The studio is exceptional; extremely clean, amazingly well equipped, and the natural light totally enhances my visit. I highly recommend 'On the Run Fitness and Pilates'.

OTR Fitness has been a God send for my 84 yr old m...

OTR Fitness has been a God send for my 84 yr old mother and myself. Vicki s professional caring instruction has improved my mothers balance, self esteem and has increased my awareness on the importance of healthy movement. We appreciate Vicki s detailed instruction, as well as the impeccable condition of the equipment and cleanliness of the facility.
If you are interested in living life more aware and healthy I highly recommend OTR Fitness!!

I travel for work a lot and have taken Pilates ses...

I travel for work a lot and have taken Pilates sessions on three continents. To my amazement, the small town of Mt. Dora had a studio, AND had classes that kept me on my toes. Took the class from who I feel is the owner (smaller dark haired lady), who kicked my butt (in a good way). Next time I'm visiting family I look forward in trying to drop in on another class or two.

I've been attending Pilates classes at On the Run ...

I've been attending Pilates classes at On the Run Fitness and Pilates since July of last year. I'd never taken classes before, always working out with a trainer or on my own. So I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the classes. I like the atmosphere, the other clients, our instructor and of course seeing results. I've learned a lot and my body and especially my core has definitely gotten stronger with each passing week. I would definitely recommend this exercise methodology for improving posture, strength and stability.

Love this place! I ve been going to On the Run Fit...

Love this place! I ve been going to On the Run Fitness & Pilates for just over a year. When I started I was in severe pain in my neck and shoulder area, I m only 36 years old and felt much older due to the pain. I started doing Pilates hoping for some relief and after about a month I started feeling better. Vickie has a ton of knowledge about the body and was able to show me different Pilates moves to help relieve that pain. I m forever in debt to Vickie, I feel like I got my life back and I m able to run around with my two year without being in chronic pain. If you re in pain or just want a good workout OTR is your place!

I have really enjoyed trining with Vickie over the last 4 years. I was new to Pilates and she has led me to love the practice. She keeps it exciting and fresh with each workout. Highly recommend!!!

I walked into this studio over a year ago not know...

I walked into this studio over a year ago not knowing what to expect, not knowing the instructor, not knowing that a year later my posture would be completely different, my core would be strong, that I would be more aware of my body and how I move or that I would be heading down a path of self-awareness I never dreamed of. Vickie, the owner of OTR Fitness and Pilates, has changed my life! Her knowledge of how the human body works together to achieve greater strength is second to none! She has taught me so much about Pilates, the principals and how to use them in everyday life - not just how to move, but to be more thoughtful and aware of my body and how I use and (used to) misuse my muscles. If you are looking for greater strength, mobility and flexibility, this is the form of exercise, the studio and the instructor for you! You cannot go wrong with OTR Fitness and Pilates! This is the only Pilates Studio around and if ther...

This is the only Pilates Studio around and if there was another one in the area I would be there. The instruction here is all over the place. The workouts do not flow and half the time we are left looking around. The instructor does not make you feel comfortable. She has OCD and is very controlling in her personality. Other clients who attend class feel exactly the same way. If you are not liked by the instructor you will eventually be kicked out of the studio and spoken badly behind your back. No other instructors will work here either because of the way they are treated. I have seen many come and go. This studio does not have a feeling of calm about it like a true Pilates studio should.
