The ship was awesome to see this past summer. The cargo hold was packed full of Halloween decor they are too lazy to remove for the few weekends a month in October they do a haunted ship. Terrible to use it as storage space instead of the full tour you used to get only a few years ago. You don't get a good feeling of the size of the cargo capabilities now. Was very disappointed my son was not able to see it the way I remembered seeing it as a youngster.

Our guide was wonderful. Very informative tour. A must see Duluth experience.

The tour of this boat is a fantastic experience. It is great for adults, and older kids. They take you through the whole ship and give you great insite on what the sailors lives were like. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. This is a great way to spend a few hours.

It's something to see once... I really liked our guide, told lil tidbits and cracked cheesy jokes.

Touring this ship is so cool! We went for the history, but mostly the ghosts because we're nerds like that. While I didn't notice any paranormal activity I was absolutely blown away by how gorgeous this ship is! Our tour guide was a lot of fun and knew all about the ship and Lake Superior. Little advice, call ahead to book your ticket because the tours sell out fast!

Went to the ship for the Halloween haunted ship, it is always a fun time and gets better every year!!

Fun and informational tour of a lake frieghter. Not for those with a fear of heights. Tour guide was exceptional.

Our tour guide, Spencer, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He truly loves his job, and it shows. The ship has some really interesting history and the tour comes at a reasonable price. If you're looking for something to do in Duluth, come here. Kids are free, but be careful if you bring young ones on. Falling off the ship would be too easy for an energetic kid.

On an extremely rainy Tuesday in May, I was the only attendant of the tour! It was nevertheless carried out and was very interesting. Highly recommended!

Great place! I felt the value of an hour long tour was just right for our rainy day play with family. Very kid friendly and exciting.

Prices are good. The tour guide threw in some jokes to give you a quick smile. Got to view most of the ship. Some of the ship wasn't able to be seen (boiler room), which was a bummer. Takes about an hour, well worth the time.

This was such a great tour. They spaced us all out very well so it was and felt very safe. There was hand sanitizer at every stop. Everyone working was friendly and was great at giving us information about the ship!

The tour on this historic ship is somewhat expensive, at around $10 for a half hour group tour. It is more aimed towards families and older folks, since the tour does not go beyond ship basics and living quarters. I went with my fiance and sister, who are under age 35, and we would have liked a more in-depth experience, like seeing the bowels of the boat and more of the engine room. The tour is very physical, with very steep/small steps, and lots of tripping hazards. It was a great way to spend a rainy day, and we cannot say enough great things about our tour guide, Becca. She was extremely professional and engaging.

If you want to get a glimpse what life is like on a great freighter than this is for you! The guide was full of knowledge and enjoyed his job which made for a fun tour. I would highly recommend!

Lots of steps to climb. Tour guide was very friendly. Technology to look at and fancy decor in other areas.

Very neat museum to visit, I liked that it was fairly self guided tour with people stationed about to answer questions. It allowed to us really look at everything and enjoy our visit without feeling rushed.

If you are unfamiliar with freight ships and have an interest in them then this is a good experience. If you fear heights or are particularly tall then this is going to be an anxiety inducing experience by the nature of the ships design.

We really wanted to take a tour but they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10a-5p so we took a few pictures outside and left. Disappointing.

Very informative. Not boring. Learned a little bit about ship life. Not completely restricted to hand ons experience. 20$ for a family of 4. Not too expensive either
