Omni Eye Specialists - Maryland Review

The staff, technicians, and doctors at OMNI provide excellent patient care at OMNI's convenient locations.

June 2019 - For the most part my visit was positive. However, one of the exams conducted had results that were a bit 'off'. The technician did not align the machine exactly. As a result I have to return to have this exam re-done. This, unfortunately, will be an extra cost to my medical insurance. - I actually forgot to return for the followup visit.

June 2020 - This was scheduled yearly exam. It went much better than last year's visit. Last visit took nearly two hours, maybe more. This time the wait was not even 5 minutes transition time. Maybe because there weren't many other patients. All of the workers were masked the entire time. The seating in all the waiting areas was socially distanced very well. Dr. Sherman was pleasant to deal with. She didn't share any thing of major concern and answered all my questions.

I've been going hear for 3 year and i must say it's always been a good experience. What i like is that they are open on Saturday that works for me. The staff is very pleasant and the service for me has been quick. I would recommend Omni Eye Specials for your i service

My appointment was prompt and the staff was professional and courteous. They make getting a complete eye exam bearable!

My eye doctor referred me to this location. Unfortunately i found out yesterday that dr a is not in network with my insurance she is a nice doctor and the staff is also but i didnt understand why i just found out yesterday when i had visited this location 5 times and got a phone call from jean that it would be better for me to go to wilmer since it is in network with ehp if this wasnt a problem i would continue to go see her the reason why i didnt give 5 stars because of communication every time i go to walgreens to pick up my refill of eye drops the label says 1 drop in the left eye once a day when its more than that and sat i called for a refill and i was told once im finish to discontinue the eye drops when i spoke to dr. A she told me i dont know who told you that but i want you to continue the eye drops and gave me a refill i hope wilmer treats me good like she did and the rest of the staff did

My experience with Omni Eye Spec. was very positive, and "eye-opening" .

After finding out from my regular eye doctor I had a cornea abrasion, he sent me to the optholmalogists specialists at OMNI. I saw Dr. Kiani. She is wonderful, knowledgeable, and listens. She fully explained how this can happen; it is very common. OMNI has a great operation, with so many people handling different aspects. The personnel are so nice, friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this office for anyone who has any type of eye problem needing help from an optholmalogist. OMNI is great!!

My recent visit to Omni Eye location in Windsor Mills was satisfactory. The desk clerk took care of my signing in quickly and efficiently. I was immediately seen by a specialist who began the series of eye examinations. Very soon i was seen by the doctor who was friendly and answered all of my questions and concerns. I have seen the same doctor on most of my visits. I find him quite knowledgeable and courteous. I will be returning.

If a Patient insurance do not cover the prescription or cost of visit & etc, notify the Customer before hand....

Excellent exam with friendly, hard-working staff. Very busy, but in and out quickly and everything was explained very clearly. So glad they were recommended to me. Both eyes are done and my eyesight is amazing now. Thanks to Dr. Garcia for his care and wonderful results. The whole staff is friends and helpful.

The staff was very polite and quick in the service that was needed.

The Best specialist's who care about their pacients very much and treating each individual with utmost respect. When I didn't have an insurance in 2009 Dr Garcia gave me a free cataract operation without charging me a dime.

Everyone was friendly, I did not have to wait that long from my apt time to be seen. They have a nice looking office in a good area. I recommend them to others.

7/4/19 - Second visit last week, still good people, I was five minutes late. They did nto say anything to me and took me in after waiting about 30 minutes. Good people, felt very comfortable with doctor sherman.
They are highly recommend from me. :)

I went to the location at North Point and White Marsh to see Dr. Park and had a great experience at both locations. The front desk, techs and Doctor were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Dr Park is very skillful and informative.

The staff was customer friendly and professional. The eye specialist demonstrated medical expertise thatc put the patient at ease.

They all took good care of me. The only thing that does not leave me happy is how I feel from my eyes. They said that I had nothing. Some time ago I have had difficulties to see well so I do not understand.

New Customer - First time at this establishment, office was clean, friendly, inviting. Staff was very pleasant, most were smiling and joking with each other, I even shared a good laugh with 2 of the technicians. Harry was very knowledgeable, and very patient with assiting with the right glasses for me. I actually changed optometrist becasue I liked Dr. Mary so much, I loved my prior Doctor as well, so Dr. Mary definitely won me over.

Omni Eye Specialists is one the most professional eye specialists there are. All the staff is that way and always are willing to answer the patient questions.

For being my second time visiting Omni Eye Specialist its a pleasure to visit with the staff and Dr. Garcia he is such a godly man and I really adore and respect him for that. The waiting period was very short, and all tests performed very professionally.

The visit was for an SLT Laser treatment and I was told by Dr. Garcia exactly what was going to happen and the procedure went as planned

I love this place, and I'm treated very kindly. I go every year and they never forget to remind me a year later. I would never remember until later but they always come through. They have a restroom and pleasant waiting area. Even the patients are kind to each other. I feel very welcomed and I thank the entire team for that.

First and foremost I got there an hour and a half early and they had no issues taking me early which was awesome! The doctor I saw helped me so fast and efficiently I was very pleased with my visit and felt heard for the first time in four year with an on going issue.

This was my first visit to Omni Eye Specialists. I intend to make it my last! I arrived at 11:15 for an 11:30 appointment. I had to have a diabetic eye exam so I was expecting it to take somewhat longer. However, I never anticipated that I would get out at 1:45! When I finally got to see the doctor, he had the audacity to leave the room after his cell phone rang and take a call. This was the worst experience ever.

Omni made me feel at home. They worked with me every step of the way especially coming down on my bill because I have to pay out of pocket. You guys rock.

Receptionist were courteous, prompt and attentive. The medical eye attendants, technicians and Doctors were excellent.

During the past year, I had very successful cataract surgery & excellent follow-up visits & treatment at OMNI Eye Specialists. From day one, I was very pleased with the staff - from the receptionists and assistants to the Doctors. Their kindness & professionalism made each visit pleasant. I am extremely grateful to my surgeon, Dr. Ivan Garcia, for giving me the gift of improved eyesight - something which I desperately needed for a long time. His surgical skills & compassion allowed me to see the world in a while new light! I also am grateful for the wonderful care that I have received from Dr. Ok H. Park since my surgery. Her thoroughness & concern for my eye health make me confident that I am being treated properly. In all, I am very pleased with the staff & the level of care that I have received, & I definitely made the right choice by becoming an OMNI patient.

I went to OMNI with an emergency, and I was so pleased with Hares Banuwal, Sade, and even Jasmine. They were very professional and Hares Banuwal referred me to a specialist and even called him directly on his cell phone to try and get me seen quickly. I can't thank their team enough for their professionalism and care they provide.

Not sure about regular appointments, but absolutely do not go here for an emergency appointment. They won't respond to you for 2.5 hours (!!!!!) and when they do, tell you to go to urgent care. Worthless.

EDIT: This is in reply to the owner comment. I have never been a patient because I was told to go to an urgent care. I was referred to call here by another Dr. As I said, unsure about regular patient appointments but I was treated very poorly for an emergency situation.

I visited Omni after an episode of vision loss in my left eye. I cannot say enough about Dr. Garcia and his staff at Omni Eye Specialist. Every was so nice from the moment I entered the office. Dr. Garcia is one of the nicest, mild mannered, professional doctors I ve been to in quite awhile. He actually listened and paid attention to my family history. After doing a thorough check of my eyes, he made in depth recommendations as to the specialists he would like me to follow up with as my situation is a slightly more complicated. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia and his staff at Omni And for the record, I seldom write reviews!

Fast friendly service. Staff really makes sure you are comfortable and informed through every step of the way.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. Called here potentially with a scratched cornea. Told receptionist I was an hour away and she told me my appt was at 1pm (I called today at 12:07pm). So I rush to make it to the appt on time, which I did. Only to be told as I am signing in that the DR would be not be able to see me today and that they have been trying to call. Lies. I had my phone in my hands at all times (due to using gps) and only had one missed call from them, at 1pm. DO NOT even bother with them. There was one other person in the waiting room and they never gave me a reason why I couldn't be seen. Thanks a lot Omni Eye. Never Again.

At the Lord Baltimore location rating... 1. Receptionist is incompetent and office manager does not have managerial skills to resolve ANYTHING! Very displeasing. Maiden Choice location... 10+.

Everyone at Omni Eye Specialist exceeded my expectations. I ve been so blessed over the last Sixteen months. Last year I had open heart surgery and God provided me with the top heart surgeon in Baltimore. Likewise I was blessed when I was directed to Dr. Garcia for cataracts. It s so nice to deal with a doctor who is aware his medical skills are a gift from God. Dr. Garcia removed a cataract on my left eye using the Femto laser. What an unbelievable experience. Absolutely no pain and so far recovery has been excellent. I m going in for my right eye in two weeks. In this day any age it s so nice to see a doctor who truly cares about his patients. As I mentioned above everyone at Omni Eye went above and beyond. If you need cataract surgery look no further then Omni Eye.

Everyone is great. They explain everything in words that I understand. I see Dr. Rosado and he is fantastic. He did my cataract surgery in 2017. They have an office on Philadelphia Road in Rosedale as well as other sites. Some also have Saturday hours. I definitely recommend them.
