Omega and Bill are unquestionably top notch. Both the facility and the attention to detail are second to none. I would be glad to place any future products I might consider in their more than capable hands. I have had the opportunity and great pleasure of interacting with Bill Mueller throughout his career. He is the real deal when it comes to anything audio, and his unwavering effort toward audio "zen" is always appreciated!! Mucho Kudos!!

My initial impression of this place was dispelled within a matter of minutes. When I first arrived, I was expecting something glitzy and glamorous (blame my ignorance on watching too much Empire!). But what Omega lacked in visual accoutrements of a fictional TV show, they made up for in real-life grit, dedication, and compassion for the art. My son is student there and I could not be more proud. Don t judge this book by it s cover like me, the real reviews are in the many decades of success.
Great recording studio. They record and work your music like magic. I've had bandmates that were super nervous recording for the first time, but if you just play through, mistakes and all, the studio technician can help fix it and make it perfect. The staff is also awesome and works with you as well.
Professional staff and amazing production. So thankful that this area has a professional studio so close by.
About to finish my year hear. Absolutely loved it. Ignore the mother telling her that says that the school only accepts Albert Einsteins & Whites, the assessment test was high school level at best. A few English questions here, a few Geography questions there, some incredibly basic music terms and a handful of basic algebra. If you're unable to pass that assessment, you're not going to make it into this school.
But if audio engineering is truly what you want to do, than this school is absolutely for you.
I attended Omega starting in January of 2018 for the AMP program. I d say that the program is carefully put together and all engineers/producers/musicians of any level will get a lot out of the program from beginning to end. If you do attend, know that it s an excellerated program and you are going to need to focus on studying hard like any other school, but there are always engineers and a staff that will be more than willing to answer any of your questions if that s what it takes for you to succeed.
Also, don t just go there just to go to class and only focus on what the books and program are telling you. Pay attention to how the engineers as a whole work together in a REAL WORLD environment and why they do the things they do during mix and recording sessions. It s a journey, but in the end it s very rewarding.
Really cool place with great people. I think this would be an excellent vocational education.
Omega Studios sets a very high standard for professionalism and quality output, and they have a justly deserved reputation in the field for that very reason. And, a big part of why that is so, is Bill Mueller, who is regarded in his field as one of the best sound engineers anywhere. The level of attention and knowledge he brings to his craft are the very embodiment of what a good sound engineer should be, and the numerous award-winning recordings that he has helped bring to fruition speak (and sing, and play) for themselves. Long life to Omega, and long life to Bill Mueller as well.
