Olympic Bike Shop Review

As a local olympic is my go to place for anything bike! I stop in about once a week and Craig, Peter, Harry, and the rest of the staff are always there to help. Customer service is incredible and servicing prices are very reasonable.

Olympic bike shop has fast service and a knowledgeable staff. I came in with 2 bikes that needed handle bars wrapped and the chains needed to be lubed. The staff pointed me in the right direction for the wraps, helped me select them and said they would have the bikes done end of day. I was very happy with the service and their suggestions.

Rented 3 electric mountain bikes this weekend, and I stupidly put down the wrong date for rental. They we are able to accommodate us anyway, and even let us take the bikes overnight. Thank you Olympic!

I went to Olympic Bike Shop to purchase a mountain bike. I had looked at all the bike shops in my area, Reno, before calling Olympic and finding out they had what I was looking for.
I am very happy I went with Olympic. The employees were EXTREMELY helpful and polite. They had decent prices and a very clean shop. When purchasing one of the bicycles they found an issue with it, and replaced parts without me having to ask them.
I would 100% recommend this shop.

What a great bike shop. Everyone is very knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to getting you out enjoying your bike. They feel like family to me. A Tahoe City institution.

Bikes were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Chain got stuck on one bike but fortunately we had a driver who could drive it back to the shop. Got a discount for that bike. I would rent from them again.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Olympic Bike Shop. From how seriously they are taking COVID to going above & beyond in their customer service, I can't recommend them enough. I originally stopped by to buy my first pair of bike shoes with cleats. The salespersons were super patient with my newbie questions, which I super appreciated. I told them about some other issues I'd been having with my bike they recommended I bring it back in a few days for a new saddle. So I did so not knowing what I was asking for help with. Not only did they get me the right saddle size (finally!) but they did a whole bike fitting for free. (Like I said, too much of a newbie to know what I had asked for help with.) There are very few stores where I've encountered such friendly and knowledge folks, in any industry, let alone bike shops as they can be very elitist. Prices were exceptionally reasonable and I paid no more than I expected to if I had made the purchases online. No "mountain tax" at this store. Also no snootiness as one expects from specialty bike shops.

Olympic Bike Shop has won me over in terms of service and friendliness. I'll be happy to make the drive from Truckee to TC from now on to visit.

Service is great and so is bike selection. Rented ebikes for the day and had so much fun. Helmets included with the rental.

Staff were friendly and did a great job getting us set up. The bikes were high quality and very comfortable for a day of riding. Rental rates were great, too.

I would recommend Olympic to anyone for anything bike related. The staff is all very professional and is always nice. Snarky comments? Those don't exist here. I have asked some of the most ridiculously basic questions and they have always been answered in a respectful manner. Service is top notch and I've never needed to bring anything that the techs have worked on back. Highly recommend.
