Ologic Ltd Review

This is now the second time i have sent my laptop off to them to be repaired in the past 5 or so years, the first time they had it was 1 week and they did nothing to it, the second time they had it which was most recently they had it for 2 weeks, only fixed 1 of the 5 things listed and claimed "NOTE: PASSCODE LOCKED AND NO PASSCODE PROVIDED" I did in fact provide them the passcode which they acknowledged, the laptop still has GPU damage, still has screen tearing, power button still doesn't work correctly and this took them 2 weeks. i could have bought the parts from a shop and had it done in less than 3 days myself. "Highly Skilled Experts" is a large overstatement, I'd trust that i could enter any college or university and find someone capable of fixing this in less time than these so called "highly skilled experts" do not recommend at all.

they have had my iphone for months now. The first time they sent it back, the screen was still broke and I had to pay my excess again. Awful service. avoid.

my trackpad is not responding well plus my computer is even slower

Booked AirPods in for repair - However the issue was not resolved. To make matters worse, the item was returned damaged.

I have to send my product back to Ologic for a third time now as the macbook isn't functional. I have been told that its an ios issue and that its not covered but after speaking with apple specialist they advised that this isn't the case its hardware issues. Very poor service ologic.

They use cheap chinese parts too repair your insurance tablet and phone repairs then charge for genuine parts,if you send a laptop for repair parts are harvested from BER (beyond economical repair) insurance write offs,they have a whole room that stores old units for spares and details are not removed from hardrives UNTIL they are reused in other repairs.

My phone screen cracked when I accidently dropped it and I am insured with so-sure insurance. From start to finish the service I had received from then was appalling so much so I will be going elsewhere. Ologic was the company linked to so -sure who repaired my phone, replaced the phone screen and then eventually sent it back. As far as I was concerned it was fixed, then to realise that the phone screen started glitching and the touch screen stopped working completely. I was unable to do a hard reset or even turn the phone off completely, so it then had to be sent out for repair again. The customer service I received was awful and the staff were so unhelpful, I was not kept in the loop with regards to my phone and had to ring regularly to get some kind of update but even then it seemed like no one knew what they were doing. Also they had a phone number which they kept contacting which wasn't mine but I lost count how many times I asked for this to be removed and changed to my own number. Two weeks in total I had been without a phone. I do not recommend what so ever - both so-sure and ologic.

My phone screen was repaired by them, had my phone back within a week. Delivered to me by DPD. Texts and email updates to keep me up to date.

I would like to thank you first for amazing customer service and I am sure you have to deal with unpleasant things all the time but you are doing grand job. Identifying fault from liquid is sometimes hard and therefore device needs to be send more then once but at least is in warranty. I had very good experience. I sometimes i fill people want to pull toad from the hole. Anyway keep up with good customer service and what goes behind scene.

Fast friendly service professionaly fixed my Samsung tablet ever so please couldnt of done better thanks for your service.

Had my iPad for nearly 6 weeks only for it to return with a non functioning touch screen.
Having only one job to do which was to replace a cracked screen, surely ensuring the touch screen works before sending it back would have been a step in the right direction?
I ve had no choice but to send it back again...I m really not hopeful

Why do people keep leaving bad reviews ?....maybe their just haters but I have used these guys twice and my phone always can a day later just as new ! ....I do recommend them

Do not let any items be assessed by this company. Insurance company submitted a laptop for repair, they could not repair the item. Insurance company approved the laptop to be returned to us.

But Ologic refused. To this day they have not returned my laptop and have effectively stolen the laptop from us

My sons tablet has a small crack, which I was told would take 10 days to fix. 14 days later, we are still waiting, I phoned today and I ve now been told our tablet is lost & they will investigate in the next 3-5 days!
Absolutely disgusted in the service we have received so far!!

So not happy with these my desktop been in 5 times in past 5 weeks and still got same problem with it

If I could give less stars I would've they have ruined my MacBook Pro, first they send it with inferior parts that didn't match the ones I paid for (since when does 1tb look like 500gb?) but on the bright side the replacement screen was More

I was sceptical with Ologic when I first read reviews about the work carried out and customer service but when I sent My phone Samsung s8 for cracked screen they repaired it before the estimated time which caught me by surprise and updated me through out the repairrepair. Overall I have no issues.

A lady by the name of Michelle answered the phone and was sighing the entire time that i spoke to her. so rude!

Sadly I have to say that i am really disappointed with Ologic. The computer was collected in a broken crate. I informed Ologic immediately and they assured me it would be returned in another unbroken one. It was returned in the same crate. The HDD they had packed was just lose on top and was rattling around inside. This was the second hdd they had replaced. I had to phone them a number of times to get them to check the motherboard. Finally they changed that as well.
On return the computer would not boot as they hadn't installed Windows properly and it has to go away to another repairer who found lose screws in the case as well as no operating system. This was supposed to have been tested before dispatch. It couldn't have been.

I just wonder how many other people are fobbed of with a new hdd rather than a proper repair and if they test anything in reality.

After sending my phone to olgic to repair screen and back via insurance company, I googled ologic and read really bad reviews. I was thinking my phone was going to come back faulty or what not but it's been done perfect nothing wrong with it at all I cant see why theres loads of bad reviews. Would 100% reccomend off my experience

Insurance company used them to assess and repair the damage. Replacement motherboard and screen parts.
Returned with loose screws. (And some lid scratches seem to have appeared). Desktop not displaying despite being "tested" after giving them logon details.
Required full reinstall by myself.

Sent my phone back to the wrong address with a broken screen and missing speaker grills. 99% sure original parts come with all the parts and in working order. I'll be seeking a new handset from my insurer as this one ain't too great anymore... Avoid sending anything functional to this lot like the plague.

They are now are telling me that my phone has liquid damage so it's not their fault and I must pay to fix it. Hmmmm no it was a waterproof phone you Muppets! If you made it not waterproof with your incompetent repair then I don't get how it's my fault. It's like they forgot that it's been sent back due to their rubbish work in the first place and have just tried to find a way to get some money out of it. Absolute disgrace.

My insurance company had submitted my laptop for a repair, and I've got to say they have done a fantastic job!! They repaired the laptop in no time, and I mean the whole body and the screen! I had the laptop back the same week they took it, and the repair they have carried out is of high standard! A month down the line, you can't even tell the laptop was damaged during its life!!!

Not good at all had two attempts to fix a tablet screen and still not correct had to go to insurance company to solve. Lady in customer services is very rude with a don't care attitude.

iPad needed repair under extended warranty... No repair was effected but turnaround was quick and credit for a replacement device was offered in its place

Been sending my OnePlus 3T back and forward with them for 3 months and they can't seem to get it right. 4 REPLACEMENTS and they can't manage it.

Shockingly bad and VERY slow to get anything done. Big waste of time. Don't go with them.

My mobile phone was just repaired by these guys via my travel insurance company due to a smashed screen. I read the reviews prior to sending my phone and was a bit worried due to some of the bad reviews on here. But there was no need to be as they did a great job and I had my phone back within 5 days with a shiny new screen and looking like new again.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. I've sent my laptop in THREE SEPARATE TIMES, only for it to be returned back to me with NONE of the faults fixed. A waste of time, effort and money. Each time they just replace part of my charger with a new one, when the charger ISN'T EVEN THE PROBLEM! I just got my laptop back to me which is still overheating, still only turning on with the charger inserted, and STILL with sticky keys and a faulty mouse pad. What an absolute joke this company is. I'd be better off sending my laptop to be repaired by a troop of monkeys. OLOGIC SUCKS.

Terrible company with equally terrible customer service

sent phone off several times, comes back worse and worse, lose home button, lose screen.. highly avoid, sosure insurance use them, avoid them also.

Awful. I m having to send my iPhone XS Max back to them for the third time tomorrow. Was initially sent away with a cracked screen and I would honestly take that over what they ve handed back twice now. First time, lines down my screen, Face ID not working properly and a visible infrared sensor flashing which shouldn t be visible. Now, on top of that, I have my screen flashing bright green. They ve literally damaged my phone. Go elsewhere!!

Both mine and my mums phone had a screen replacement and both came back even more broken!!!! My phone display was ruined because they didn't use a genuine part and my mother Samsung stopped turning on all together!! Avoid at all costs!!

Shocking company.
Sent my laptop for repair 3 times now, the first time i sent it they replaced the hard drive, only for it to be broke within a month, i've just received it back and it sounds like a spaceship taking off (presume it's trying to access files, which again would mean my hard drive is broke). Seems like they do the smallest amount of work so they can go home on a friday night with their wages. Do not use

(ologic) At first when my computer was sent off by my insurance company I looked up this company and read the reviews and they was shocking I thought where has my computer just been sent to a scrap yard or something. The problem with my computer was a cracked screen and this company did wonders to my computer which was an all in one pc (ACER) honestly you have to give this company a chance as it took them just under 2 weeks to fix my computer its now back and working fine you really have to give this company a chance with your electronics. Was very reliable

These people collected my faulty Samsung tablet on the 29th December 2015 & between them and DPD I'm still waiting for it to be delivered! Received an email on 6th January 2016 saying that it's fixed however they have come to my workplace for a collection! !!!! Numb skulls .

I worked here for a short time but while i was there i can say the staff and the management were all geared to providing the post possible servive to customers. I Cant recomend higher. Im not sure why they have mixed reviews but i personally have only good things to say.

Fantastic service that cannot be faulted! Twice my mobile phone has been sent in as a trade repair and both times the repair has been faultless. The first time I believed the phone was beyond repair as I had managed to banana the unit as well as break the screen but the engineers resolved this and you would never have been able to tell that the incident had even happened. My go to repair centre!

My phone broken and I claimed with so sure insurance. On Monday they pick up at my work my iphone x 64 GB and after 3 days the ologic replaced with other iphone x 64 gb . Very nice guys thank you .

The company is only interested in money!!!!! This company has lost data from my hard drive, had the nerve to tell me the data wasn't there, which is was all there the night before they took my computer as i checked, then tell me i will have to pay a seperate computer firm to recover data as they cannot access it due to data protection. This company is a joke, avoid using them!

Sent my phone of twise for repair through my insurance and can honestly say that they are terrible. The first time i Brock my phone I had to have the screen repaired, upon a LATE return I found that the screen was loose as they had not put the screws back into my phone!!! A few weeks later I dropped it and it completely came open as the screws were not there at all which ment that my phone once again was Brocken and had to go into repair! This time they were helpful with the delivery being on time as I had to have it before I went to France. However I have now realised that they had obviously not done a check on the repair as the microphone doesn't work and the battery drains extremely quickly! Don't use this service

Sent iPad on insurance claim to replace cracked screen, simple job? Not a chance, took nearly a month to get iPad returned. When it arrived screen was great BUT screen calibration way out of sync. Returned again for fix when it was returned the calibration was fixed but when using the iPad screen kept going blank mid process. Returned AGAIN to be told that as it had been returned twice already it was not cost effective to fix and be written off!!! The only faults in the iPad were as a result of their work on a simple repair ) ! I have never been so disappointed with the service provided by any company and will not be recommending them to anyone else, in fact I will actively discourage people from using them

my experience has not been a good one they took 2 imacs to replace broken key boards they came back with out the keyboard then the key board was the wrong one then we got one of the imacs back with a very damaged foot
they replaced the back and the foot and the foot is still not in perfect condition and to top it off when the Currier came to collect the machines the packing boxes were the wrong size for the machine there picking up

I had my computer lap to sent away for repair. Last Thursday. I had received it my laptop top Thursday Gone. To my horror. The driver had returned back to me. And to find out it had a blank screen. And the battery was flat. What sort of service is this now. Not happy with the repair at all. To my lenovo laptop. Top. What a disgrace. Now. I do not think no repair was taken place. As I'm paying insurance. Yearly. Now.

Not very impressed with having to send my macbook back to them for a third time! i would advise using another provider as its very clear quality checks are not performed before sending them back to the owners.

My smashed z3 screen was sent here for repair through insurance so I thought I'd check them out online.

I was very worried when I saw lots of negative reviews but the phone was returned in fully working condition with a fantastic repair job. Either the company has responded to the negative feedback or been bought over, because the repair job was well done and fast, with no negative experience, I was also kept updated by text message throughout the repair.

Sent IPhone X to have cracked screen repaired as well as a alien M17 laptop.
iPhone returned fist to have prize marks along side of phone so it resembles a saw! And the screen was no longer cracked but it went cloudy and then black. Been sent back waiting for it s return.
The laptop has been repair again screen fixed but around the bezel it looks like it s been opened with a hammer and chisel! They want me to sent it back but I m in two minds weather to or not based on experience with my iphone

As a Customer, I have used Ologic for Several repairs and never have found a fault with the company.From tablets and phone I have never had any problems with this place.

They replaced my s8 screen and the back panel is coming off now only used it for a week. Phone had water damage straight away so it's freak me out nobody mentioned they used creepy material to fix it so I shouldn't use it real world environment.
Phone broken had to buy a new one.
Keep up a good work.

Very disappointed. My insurance company asked me to send my Galaxy S7 Edge. They replaced broken screen. However, they also replaced some other parts that were in good working condition for a cheap stuff. Now i cannot make calls. There is a terrible quality in sound that nobody can hear my and everyone disconnecting my calls. If your insurer tells you to send anything to them say no and ask for an alternative. Ologic can steal original parts from your phone.

Very disappointed with the service I received from ologic. My insurance company sent my phone off for repair 2 weeks ago, I got it back today to find that the problem wasn't even fixed. They had messed about with everything else but not fixed the speaker. They also had the decency to put on the analysis form the speaker had passed! No way did that speaker get a pass, the person on the phone said they didn't even look at it so how it got a pass is beyond me! Fuming isn't the word. I'm now having to send my phone off again just for them to mess about with it even more!

Awful company , sent my phone and laptop to be fixed , returned not working , and sent back 3 more times and they still refuse to give us a new product or repair it properly , sent dpd to my house with the wrong parcel , Generally wasted so much of my time , terrible customer service and product quality

Excellent repair of my Samsung S10 5G , top quality job, only one feedback for improvement would be communication regarding if it is being fixed and ETA for return. Despite this I would definitely use this service again.
