I had booked and they did I find the table ready ... I had to wait 30 minutes before you sit down ... not brought me the bruschetta and bread I had ordered ... have brought my wife a pizza with Parmesan , after having told him several times that he was allergic and that he absolutely didn't want it in the pizza ... to be excused, they wanted to trim a cannolo a few days before ...
Pizza to tell the true good, but the total disorganization and shallowness of the staff and management make impossible any kind of evaluation of the food !!!
bad

My husband and I were in SAnta Barbara for an anniversary weekend. We were looking for an Italian restaurant and decided to try Olio e Limone. We arrived early for our reservation and had a drink in the bar then were seated for our reservation timely. The restaurant is small and very romantic. The service was impeccable. The food was very authentic. We had a lovely experience. Highly recommend and we will be back!

On a whim our party of 5 stopped in at the pizzeria on a long holiday weekend, on a Saturday night. I immediately felt like I was in a family restaurant in Italy. The place was packed, so it looked like we wouldn t have a chance at a table. The hostess, Jen, said there was one table outside, if we didn t want to wait. Despite the cold, (even SB is cold at night in February), we went for it. Jen ended up being our server, she was attentive and fun, and we had a great dinner outside. Try the asparagus with egg and speck, and of the pizzas (the truffle one is amazing) and the fennel sausage calzone was so delicious. The wine list is reasonable and we heard the cocktails were delicious.

Amazing food, amazing people, amazing place. We shared the burrata as a starter, and the farfalle as an entree with asparagus on the side. It was delicious! Their olive oil that came with the bread is really good, so we decided to buy a bottle. Desserts were phenomenal! We had pear tart and lemon tart, with a glass of moscato. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Santa Barbara.

Lovely restaurant. Signage small so hard to see when driving. Ample parking but does require a walk from parking. Great service and beautifully presented dishes that were delicious. The Branzino was melt-in-your mouth wonderful!

Not a huge Italian food fan, but really liked the flavors and experience here. We were seated in the back and it made the conversation for our party of six easy to hear. Would go back for that alone.

Olio is a ritual experience for our family. We go anytime we are in SB and the food and service is exceptional. Whether we are feeling casual and crave the black ink fried calamari appetizer and Amalfi Dream cocktail, or feel like the ultimate fine dining experience, Olio Pizzeria and Olio e Limone Ristorante are top notch with tried and true consistency. Highly recommend!

I would return here. What ever you do DO NOT miss this dessert: "budino di zucchero di canna" loosely translated to butterscotch pudding but really its like nothing from this world. As they say "chi mangia bene, vive bene"

For us this was a special dinner, because we are celebrating our Christmas (in Brazil is tradition a supper of cream)! We chose Olio Pizzeria for this celebration and had one of the best restaurants of our trip. Tasty food, super nice atmosphere like we were at Nona's house. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The ABSOLUTE best experience! The total package. Food, wine, service.
My party of 4 was sat immediately during the lunch hour. Our server Gustavo was warm and welcoming. Helped answer questions about the menu and made great suggetions based on our needs. Our meal began with fresh bread, olive oil, and olives. We each ordered a different salad and entree in order to share and taste mutiple plates. Our main dish came out piping hot. The eggplant ravioli, scampi fettichini, scallops with asparagus tips pasta, and the angel hair dishes were amazing. We finished with cannoli and tiramisu made in house. Delightful! Highly reccommend.

Has great Italian food. Not sure how it compares to the sister restaurant next door. Great location to walk around downtown afterwards. Umbra and parma pizzas are our family's favorite! You can make reservations, but it's usually not too crowded. Parking in the back lot is free for the first 75 min.

Wonderful pizza place. Went once during off peak hours and once during the dinner rush. Both times service was on point and food quality was consistent. The pizzas are fantastic and butterscotch pudding for dessert was special and tasty!

Great, wood fired pizza, plus an excellent full Italian menu. Modest but well curated wine list. Plus the wonderful local owners stopped by our table and then dined in the dining room with friends. All of this goodness at reasonable prices!

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Olio Pizzeria. First, describing this place as "upscale", doesn't do it justice. The restaurant is meticulously decorated. Every table is set to perfection. I share this because when the pizza comes to your table, a very thin crust pizza, you will be blown away. Olio Pizzeria is expensive. The wine list is extensive, but the experience is as close to perfect as you'll get in Santa Barbara. We loved it so much, we went back for a second visit.

Lovely restaurant, expert service. Our group of ten all thought our entrees were delicious and arrived hot, beautifully presented. Excellent wine list. We enjoyed delicious gelatos, coffee and a few grappas. Our first time here and we we would highly recommend to others.
