Love this little gem of a place! The food is always fresh. I can count on good service being provided. Most importantly, the dessert is AMAZING. I haven't had a single bad experience here. If you are unsure about trying things restaurant, go! You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic! My wife had the chicken salad, salad, and I had the roast beef panini. Both were really, really good. Then we tried some cake. It was awesome! The staff was very friendly and the service was as good as can be. I'll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely love Olexa s. Staff is alway friendly and knowledgeable. They make great suggestions when you can t decide what you want. Our favorite desert is a slice of warm vanilla cake.

Fabulous! I ordered a birthday for my 35th, and while there was a small hiccup, it was absolutely beautiful! Not only beautiful, but also delicious! Kudos to the bakers and pastry chefs. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

One of my all time favorite restaurants, worth the 45 minutes drive from where I live. The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Usually a baby shower or birthday party when I've been. I came for the chicken crepes the first time and always order that; the strawberry Mandarin side salad that come with it is tasty too. My family has tried other options that they enjoyed including quiche and paninis; the seafood crepes aren't quite as good as the chicken. Last time we got the bruschetta which I would get again. Have had several soups and they have all been good. But, my favorite part is the warm Chocolate Fudge Buttercream Cake; I'm glad I don't live close as I'd be getting a slice way too often! My only negative is they aren't open for dinner so I can only go on the weekends, but being a lunch place I understand.

I reached out to Olexa s in regards to a Wedding cake. They took two days to respond and we re very rude. Due to poor customer service I will never return and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I love the food and cakes BUT I will never be getting a cake her again. Last year they messed up my daughters baptism cake. I gave them a second chance for our gender reveal cake because a friend purchased hers here and I loved it. The cake looked awful. Not at all what I asked for. And they also handed my husband the envelope with the gender for our child, which I specifically asked the front end manager, Laura, not to do. When I came back to have the cake fixed I asked for someone to call me to discuss the matter and was promised the general manager would call Monday. I never received a call. Thank you Olexas for messing up another cake and ruining a big surprise for us!

Awful all around. This is the second occasion that the incompetent employees at this business have ruined. How can a place that is a bakery not correctly complete a cake order? My wife ordered a gender reveal cake with the instruction to keep the gender secret. Not only did the girl hand me the envelope with the gender inside, they also did not even use blue and pink icing. The last cake that they messed up was for my daughters christening and they smashed part of the cake and blamed it on my wife. These people do not care. I tried to tell my wife to use Edgar s, and I would encourage everyone else to do the same. I will make everyone aware of what a terrible experience to be expected here.

The food and atmosphere here is amazing. It is themed like a little french courtyard, and it does it well. It is a little crowded, but that can be a sign of just how great of a place this is. The food was excellent, and full of flavor, the only downside about my sandwich was that the bread was too crispy, but that wasn't much of a problem honestly, as the rest of the meal more than made up for that. The staff was friendly and more than helpful when it came to answering questions about their various items. They also have a small bakery in there that makes some delicious baked goods.

The warm chocolate great was paired great with vanilla ice cream. The food was okay but, the potato salad on the side was amazing. I did not get a chance to tell anyone. I would recommend this place specifically for dessert not necessarily for the sandwiches or salad.

All around TOP NOTCH! Angelia, our server, handled our birthday party group of 11 with no problems; the tomato bisque is fabulous and so are the seafood crepes and the strawberry Mandarin salad. The cake was divine and topped the meal off perfectly! Definitely a new "go-to" Cafe for our group!

My FAVORITE Bakery!!!! We've been purchasing all celebratory cakes from Diane & her staff. Super amazing chicken salad (love the carmalized pecan version), awesome soups & salads (the pasta salad is delightful ), and the cakes are absolutely decadent!!!!

Pros: Cute little cafe in a foo foo part of town. Very friendly staff with average bistro type food. Southwest salad was great with good flavoring. Cons: Water on the tap was heavy on the chlorine taste. My wife got a slice of vanilla creme cake which was fine, but plain. We both tasted and said at the same time "Walmart". The frosting was warm, which was weird. Conclusion: It was designed for the type of crowd that that frequent the area which is older, upscale residents with more style over substance. Go once.

Very gracious staff and great food. I went for the trio. I have never had a white chicken chili so creamy and tender. Very good! Don't miss the slice of warm vanilla buttercream cake. It is a must. The atmosphere is interesting, and the French music was nice.

Olexas is my favorite place to eat lunch..Tyler is an amazing server hes tall and blonde and looks like a beautiful german naval officer and the rest of the staff is awesome. The hostesses are so helpful and polite, it seemed like everyone in the building was trying to help me and my 87 yr old mother in one way or another. If youre ever having a bad day just go to olexas ask for Tyler and order some cake. These people know what they're doing!!! The staff treated me like a king wish i could rate this place 10 stars..they deserve it!!!

Came here for lunch with my girl friend and ordered the trio as that s always my favorite lunch special to order.... first of all, it took them 25mins to bring out the food, I took a bite and realized my beef panini bread was badly burned, they just placed the burned side on the bottom so I wouldn t notice as they came out.... so I asked for them to remake my panini, 1 min later, the waitress came back with my panini, they just replaced the half of bread that was burned and placed that on top of the old panini that I took bite..... how did they even get their food permit..... SERIOUSLY..... very disappointed

Management's attitude could be much better! Food quality fluctuates between awesome and not so good. Menu items overpriced. Service is extremely slow. No special food request honored per management.

Seems to be the biggest hotspot for lunch for women in Mountain Brook village. The room is packed with females at lunch time during weekdays. They have pretty good soup and salads. Their sandwiches are okay but don't compare to Brick & tin across the street. I have ordered multiple cakes from them. Their cakes can be cute but the icing is very good but the cake itself tastes like cake mix. Also when you order it's very impersonal and I don't think I was ever able to get the exact cake I wanted.

I recently stopped in for lunch on a Friday. I'd never been but both the posted and word of mouth reviews were so good I had to try it for myself. I was not disappointed. They were crowded with several parties celebrating events but I was seated quickly. The Shrimp and Lobstertini appetizer was fresh and light and just the perfect portion. The grilled cheese and tomato bisque was top notch. And then I finished with a slice of French Vanilla cake. The bakery was busy with customers picking up cakes, cupcakes, etc. And I can see why. And as busy as they were the service never suffered. I'll definitely be back. And I'll bring friends. Just so good.

Delicious food! Great for lunch! The only problem is the service is not great. Very slow both times I went. Once they were not crowded and once they were crowded. My suggestion, go when you are not in a hurry. Their salad dressing is delicious as are their cookies!

Probably one of the best little cafe's I've been to in a long time. I had a wonderful turkey and artichoke panini with a salad and some delicious tomato basil soup. It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Terrible service, terrible food. It took far FAR too long to get a bad "portabello" sandwich (there was only two pieces of tiny portabello floating on a sea of stale, soggy bread). The menu promised "caramelized onions" but they were slimy uncooked onions. There was far too few ingredients for a way too expensive sandwich that took 45 minutes to get with no visit or explanation from our server. When we asked a second server to refill water, that server disappeared too. People should expect a lot better for the inflated price. When there are so many other options around, do not visit this crumbling pit.

Good cake here but a little overpriced. Food is OK, but not of such high quality that you'll rave to others about it. Parking is very poor and if you have a very big vehicle, good luck backing out of the parking spaces. Seating is quite More

A pleasant but slightly overly ambitious atmosphere with a somewhat unambitious menu. The food was enjoyable but left much to be desired- both in taste and in portion size. The chicken was dry and the bacon imperceptable. Definitely not a place for people who would like to feel satisfied after a meal. I'm sure my mother would enjoy this place though, and likely she's the target audience, not me.
