pretty sure i got microwaved frozen pancakes...... perfectly uniform in size and texture and feel is exactly the same.... not there usual pancakes...

It's a good place. Good specials and a nice menu. Been there several times. Breakfast is great, lunch and dinner as well. The bloody Mary bar looks good as well but I've never had it. The cheese curds are great and so are the waffle fries and seasoned sour cream as well. Give it a shot, sports bar vibe for sure.

Place has come a long way over the years...great menu--breakfast all day--excellent service, pull-tabs, darts and live music.

Love the food especially with breakfast in the onion rings. Staff is very nice. I would definitely recommend it!

Enjoy our breakfasts at Old Piper. Service was good, pancakes a bit flat. But continue to enjoy this restaurant.

Almost always get the hangover hashbrowns and they are awesome. Down side last 3 times I was there took at least 5-10 min for a server to come to the table and one time it was maybe 20 min or longer so we walked out and called the manager on our way to another restaurant and let him know how long we had waited

Double cheese burger with bacon was Delicious and the friendly staff put up with my crazy ol dad.

Good food and atmosphere. Usually there on the weekends for Sunday brunch. Parking can be tricky as the lot fills up quick. They also have a bloody Mary bar.

Was not impressed with the food for what i spent will not return to eat there

This place isn't perfection... it's perfect!
I sneak up here whenever I'm in the neighborhood thank God my hair stylist is close by. Everything homemade always always always find out what the soup is I absolutely love their soup! My ex husband loves the breakfast all day I love the fact that right off the bat I can order the mashed potatoes and roast beef with gravy at the same time he has his breakfast.
Get ready it's always packed but always a good time great service great food decent prices nice location outside patio friendly patrons!!!

It had great service. It's nice to have some all day breakfast restaurants because I love breakfast foods. I had their chocolate chip pancakes, they were amazing. The bill came fast which is also something I look for in restaurants. It just gets annoying sometimes when they seem to forget about your bill and finally bring it after 15 minutes.

I like fast no BS waitresses. It's 3:00 and I can get an egg croissant. Why is it so hard to find an egg croissant at 3:00 in the metro?

First time I came here, my wife and I thought the food was great. Now, a full order of biscuits and gravy, consents of one biscuit with a little gravy, sure went down hill

We have not had a bad experience since we've discovered this gem. Keep in mind we (wife, daughter and I) have only been here for breakfast. So I'm only talking about the morning experience. The wait for food isn't long, food comes out nice hot and delicious! The staff are friendly and they love to interact with our daughter. They're very considerate not to place hot dishes or the pot of coffee in front of our littles. That right there is a HUGE plus for us. It shows they care and we can't appreciate it enough. Thank you ladies!! I love the french toast! Our favorite breakfast is Hamburger steak for (wife) and I'm pretty much all over the menu. I like all the items on it. Especially the french toast! And littles eats off our plates. French toast!! Ok I'm done thanks!

The Eggs Benedict was awful... I couldn t finish it. The hollandaise sauce tasted like nacho cheese.

This is a good place for lunch. Reasonable prices and a good selection. Breakfast all day. Good burgers. Drink specials. Lots of choices. Fast and friendly service. And televisions to watch the Twins season opener. Fun:)

Was there with a party of seven. The food was very good. All food came out at the same time and was hot. Bonus; they serve breakfast all day so four people ordered omelets. Two ordered burgers and one ordered chicken pot pie. We are a sharing type family so we all tried some of each other's food. Again, the food was very good. I took away a star because towards the end of the meal they started a live trivia game that was extremely loud. It made it hard for us to visit and watch the football game.

We love the food and the atmosphere here. The place is always busy but I don't mind a wait. Their bloody Mary bar on Sunday with their house infused vodka is amazing. The hangover hash browns are my go to but I have had lots of great food here.

At first I was concerned because it doesn't look from the outside like a first class place. But from the moment we walked in we were amazed at the quality of service and the food! Our drinks never got below half, the food was out in record time, and everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend their steak tips as this is the only place I have had steak tips that were juicy and tender. This absolutely our new brunch spot!

Ordered takeout, besides the food coming burnt the manager said we were wrong. I have enjoyed this place until recently.

Ole Piper Inn is the quintessential American greasy spoon. The dining area is cafeteria style with booths around the edges, making for very open, no privacy seating. Servers have far too many tables to be able to give attentive service. The Bloody Mary bar is generic at best. Lots to choose from, but in the bottles and containers they were purchased in. It's billed as a greasy spoon and it will not disappoint if that's what you're in the mood for

Love this place for breakfast. Can be pretty busy in the morning, but the staff is always prompt and courteous. The best breakfast item on the menu is the corned beef hash. I'm guessing they make their own corned beef because it's pretty great.

Curious as to why a successful place like old piper in would charge $1.99 for popcorn.
