Old Town Orono YMCA Review

I went to the YMCA for childcare from the time I was small. There was good times, but most of the staff are too young and inexperienced. I often found that they were more happy to talk to their friends that came or worked there, then to watch the kids.

As I got older, I stopped going there for that and just went to use the Gym and the Pool. It is a great place to be when you are older. All of the things they offer are really well kept. However, their bathrooms could be cleaned a bit better. There was always clothes lying around in the girls' rooms.

Love this place could spend all day there great staff.

Pleasant lobby, good yoga and tai chi classes. Racquetball courts almost always available. Locker room small, a bit dusty, and odiferous.

We use the daycare facilitie, gym, swimming pool, membership and the free classes with the membership and we love it! My little one loves her teachers and I have lost 20 pounds between the gym and my diet. It helps me stay fit :)

Great place to get a good workout, they offer so much I enjoyed working out on the bouncy floor it was easy on my joints the karate instructor Tristan is good at what he does. Anyone interested should sign their kids up ASAP

Great facility, clean, easy to access, workers are polite and helpful. my only complaint is some of the prices are steep. For example, to swim in the pool for 10 minutes or 5 hours its $5 which isnt super accessible for some people financially. I wish that would be recalculated. Otherwise, great establishment with super convient location. My family loves it

I enjoy this Y, the after school program is great, my daughter enjoys the staff and all they offer.
