Went here for dinner with my bf and he ordered for a big glass of beer, but then he asked to change to a smaller one and the lady agreed without saying anything. When we got the bill, she also charged the big beer even if we didn t drink it! She should have just said it in the first place before changing, right? Like hello?! Even the pizzas in here are nice, they really have poor customer service!

High quality ingredients on a burned pizza. Fancy pizza restaurant with nice and caring staff. Good selection of beer and wine. Unfortunately my pizza was completely black and burned on the lower part. Maybe the wood oven is kept too warm.

Worthless. We arrived at a quarter past 7, waited for more than an hour for a table, while there were free tables that were kept free for a quarter past 8. Just ordered at the bar and then it took another 45 minutes for the pizza to arrive.

I have experienced this twice now. We will never come back. Also certainly not the best pizzas in Rotterdam.

Delicious Neapolitan pizzas from a real brick oven! Italian friends from Napoli raved about the pizzas served. The crust is fluffy as befits a real Neapolitan pizza. The tomato sauce is crisp and flavorful and the toppings are super fresh. The Guanciale is recommended, as is the Buffalina. The Buzz mozzarella is even made by the owners themselves. Paid parking is available in front of the door. This place is an absolute must!

A hip pizzeria, with industrial design decor. The pizza was pretty good! Although I still think 10 for a Margherita is too much. I guess this aligned with Dutch standards. Anyway, recommended and honestly I think better than O'Pazzo, considered as one of the best pizzerias in town.

Amazing pizza. During rush hour very overwhelmed with the amount of people. wait a bit and you will get the best pizza, but service during peak hours is a negative experience. Two stars only, the food is great but it needs more to it to be complete.

Good and hip restaurant in a nice place in Rotterdam. The pizzas are delicious and never get bored. Favorite: Pizza San Daniele. The service is also smooth, cozy and has charisma..What makes the overall picture complete! Recommended!

Highly recommended if you want to try an authentic pizza, exactly as it supposed to be!

Ok, I heard a lot about this place and managed to visit it recently. Better to book before you come over especially at weekends. Service was good and quick. Well pizza looked great, however in my opinion tomato pizza sauce should be much better for this price (I assume they didn t cook it by themselves and bought an average quality). I give you my 4 from 5!

Very nice location and vibe. Terrible pizza and customer service on my visit, unfortunately. Pizza was bland and under cooked. Lots of no-no's from wait staff: no menu given or drinks offered when sat down; delayed silverware provision; had to ask for glasses for the table water; kitchen garbage taken out in front of our table; confusing waiter/table responsibility regime.

Starters were very tasty, pizza not that special and without crust the bottom was on the weak side. Had to wait a very long time, but the home-made jasmine lemonade was really recommended. Fortunately that tastes differ.

Delicious pizzas and surprising shared dining dishes. Nice staff, cool interior and great vibe! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat a real Neapolitan pizza in the Netherlands.

The pizza is unique but outstanding. The crust puffs up and is chewy which was a bit different for us, but so so good. The potato, cheese, and onion is one of the best pizzas we've ever had.

Price premium positioned. The chef is trained by an Italian and knows how to cook the authentic Italian pizza. This means that you get a "wet" pizza with "no" dough. This is getting used to. The used toppings are of excellent quality and give a lot of flavor. If you make miniature versions of the staff, they fit perfectly in a doll's house.

The food was good. The service was okay, but no more than that. The checkout was a mess. Anyone who wants to pin must do this at the same cash register, while the people who come in and those who just want to order food are also waiting here. We had been waiting for a while for the bill and when we wanted to pay we had another discussion with another guest about who was next, while they had not even ordered. Checking out is the last thing I want to worry about when I eat out.

Very good pizzas - cooked on the front of you - smooth service ensured by gentle and young professionals. For a good moment around good pizzas and drink in a nice atmosphere, definitely a place to consider !

Friendly personnel, but the pizza we had was not so good; the base was chewy instead of crisp and had no bite whatsoever. I wonder if they are using durum flour... Apparently this is Napolitan style.

I loved the friendliness of the staff, but the pizza was bland.

I was also annoyed that I was changed 1,75Euros for a very small bottle of water, I went to nicer restaurants on my visit which gave me a big bottle of water for free on my visit.

The only reason I'm bringing this up is since I have a kidney condition which means I have to drink *a lot* of water. If I wanted to stay hydrated, I would have had to purchase 2 or three of those bottles, which feels a bit mean.

I could have mentioned this to the staff, but I am on holiday and didn't feel comfortable at that time mentioning my medical history.

In the end, I did not eat most of the pizza. The manager wanted me to pay full price (minus the water). I told the staff I would only pay half, which was eventually accepted.

Beautiful place, delicious pizza and perfect service. Their pizzas don't go for cheap but they do worth the price. The quality unfortunately drops in very busy moments of the weekend and when the group of people at the table is too big.

Heard a lot about this relatively new case. Booked on Friday evening with 2 friends (necessary, we saw many disappointed faces walk away). Because the weather was nice we got a place outside. Started with 3 delicious aperitivo s and a platter with different appetizers. The snacks were delicious, tasty and varied. The burrata melted on our tongue and the salmon was very good too. When ordering the pizzas, we received a brief explanation of the operation. The pizzas are said to be "fluffy, not crispy." We were curious! But how delicious the pizzas were. Tasty above expectations, certainly no standard pizzas but pizzas with good quality ingredients and surprising combinations. In addition, a big compliment for the service, as the evening got underway it got a bit cooler and we wanted to eat the dessert inside. Despite the crowds, we got a spot at the bar. The desserts were tasty and the view of the large ovens fun to watch. We also noticed that the staff was very cheerful and helpful. All in all a great evening. We will be back soon.

Generally people love the pizza served here. It just did not float my boat. The drinks list was very limited and they are not up for off the menu cocktails. Overall the experience turned out to be overpriced and a bit disappointing..and i never like a place that charges for tap water especially when you order alcohol.

Had two different experiences in the past weeks. First was very good, very nice dinner at the restaurant itself. Second was with pizza box tuesdays. Then the pizza was 90% black at the bottom, which gave an unpleasant taste to the entire pizza. I would also not recommend transporting the pizza, the bottom of the pizza is very thin and therefore quickly gets wet / soggy, but again this experience was completely different during the dinner in the restaurant.

Tonight for the first time (on the advice of many friends) eaten at Old Scuola. My husband and I had a great evening! The starters were delectable. We ordered a platter with different dishes to share. The salmon, arancini and roasted vegetables stood out. The pizzas were also very good, we took a pizza with among other things short rib and one with, among other things, pointed peppers. The dough was soft and very light! Because we were packed, we shared the dessert: chocolate cake. That too was super! Service is very friendly and the ambiance in the store is nice. For us a new favorite address where we will often come!

A week ago at Old Scuola. Upon entering we asked for a table for two. Although the waitress came to us, she responded with a cynical comment that we only had to find one. Eventually she started to get involved and we had to sit at a table where people had just been eaten. She didn't mind cleaning the table. With the menus in our hands, we asked another waitress for advice. When asked what she would recommend to us, she answered "everything" with no interest. The pizzas lay on the table fairly quickly, but they were almost thrown down. In addition, we were allowed to find out for ourselves how to eat it, because apart from cleaning there was also no question of cutlery. It was impossible to get in touch with the 3 waitresses despite the fact that it was very quiet on a Monday evening, so we took the cutlery from another table (no occupied table by the way). We have not yet mentioned the pizzas. We had one with anchovies and a margharita. A real culinary highlight: the entire pizza was swampy, the tomato sauce was lukewarm, the cheese was hardened and the crust was partly black. We could get even better at a cheap Turk who also sells hairdresser's pizza. You understand that we did not eat a dessert of no less than 7.50. And also did not tip (we always do, by the way, certainly not this time). When we had paid, there was no thanks, and the message was: "you can go now". All in all: do you want an evening with poor service and pizzas that are hard to come by ?! Then this is your address.
