Food v was good and the show fantastic. All in all I recommend them for a great time with friends

We were THRILLED with the production of "Ghost: The Musical "! Sets were creative. Casting was outstanding! The variety of ways scenes changed was astounding! We didn't want the show to end. We will be coming back for many more productions!

Our first visit was a wonderful experience! Beautiful theater and fabulous restaurant in a lovely lake setting. The show was spectacular!

Recently remodeled. Plenty of leg room in the theatre.

We always enjoy the plays at The Old Log Theater and tonight "Five Presidents" was very timely and well done.

Excellent appetizers and entrees and entertaining shows.

Our family enjoys a children's play here every year in December. They put on such a fun and engaging production every time both for the adults and the kids. They are also known for plays geared towards an adult audience. The building has a nice fireplace making a calming ambiance. They also have a restaurant and bar that I haven't had the chance to enjoy yet.

I love this theater but the current play "guys and dolls" a wee bit slow.

Had great brunch with friends at Cast and Cru. Then enjoyed musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder." Good cast, wonderful voices, clever plot. Recommend you see it if you have the chance.

Dinner was good the show was extremely well. First night we very much enjoyed the show!!!

Historic old theater with great shows and a decent restaurant.

This has always been a great place, probably my all time favorite theater in Minnesota. It has decent food for a dinner theater, awesome, fun plays and great environment. The only drawback now is accessing info via website, it could use some serious updating so we could see what's going on currently. I can't find ticket pricing or menu info at all, and info about which plays are going and when isn't easily searchable either. Hope to see improvement there someone soon!

This is an awesome place to enjoy a play. Owners a amazing people who genuinely care about their guests!

Our favorite small theater. Good Productions, slightly above average ticket prices, and free parking.

The show was very good. The Old Log Theatre has a musty smell, but it is an old building.

Exceptional actors, historical location, fun for all ages. Not a bad seat in the house. I grew up going to the Old Log and I'll gladly being my children to see plays here long into the future.

After having been away from Old Log for 5 years it was wonderful to be back. The show was wonderful. The exterior still has that old look to it, but the inside is updated and comfortable.

Unfriendly servers/bartender and the food was good, but not great. Frankly, at the prices charged, I expected better service and to not feel like I was bothering them to ask for water etc.

Super cute pop up Christmas venue with amazing drink specialties. Hot buttered rum. Num!!! I hope you made it as it's done now. Til next year, cheers!!

Good early 60s music and light humor. If you like both, you should go.

Great Performance. Enjoyed being able to see the band up on stage.
Would have liked a broader lunch menu in the restaurant. Ketchup/mustard wasn't provided along with my burger and fries.

Everything is amazing except the pork. It is always tough as leather. Other than that it is a great show always and great staff.

Okay granted the theater section is still as old as dirt. You just don't mind because the players are so good and the new restaurant bar area is so pretty and fun it's worth it. Also just fantastic to grab a drink and go sit outside and look at the marsh

Unfortunately, the late season show / pre-Holidays, drew a small crowd of about 1/3 full; however, the show was fun and delightful. Glad we went. The actors did a wonderful job. I should start attending an early show, a middle (full house) show and a late season show for comparison purposes.

We hit a local restaurant b/4 the show, regretfully this time at Madden's. Madden's wasn't bad but, there are several places that are of equal or better quality.

Overall, it was a descent night out with neighbors.

I hadn't been back here in well over 12 years. The architecture is great with a cabin feel to it and the fireplace adds a touch of home. We watched a gentleman's guide to love and murder. It hit my husband's funny chord- hadn't seen him this entertained from a musical in years.

We have seen both of the current shows, and they were very fun with good actors/singers, sets and costumes. The box for wheelchair seating is a bit odd, made us feel segregated. We also enjoyed the restaurant prior to one of the shows.

This is our third or fourth time seeing a show at Old Log. We went to Lend Me a Tenor, a "screwball comedy" set in the 1930s. The presentation was skillful and included a clever approach intended to link the play to movies of the same period (hard to explain, but it really worked). It was very funny and well done. // The facilities at Old Log are great. The parking lot is large and close and there's a way to drive right up to the door if you have someone who needs to limit walking. The theater seats are comfortable with generous width and plenty of leg room. // We had to change our original ticket dates and the box office staff person was very helpful and friendly about it. I hated to change at the last minute, knowing they probably wouldn't be able to get someone else into the seats we weren't using, but they were very understanding.

Kind of off the beaten path, but a nice venue with friendly staff. Worth the trip to get there.

We saw "Five Presidents" and really enjoyed it. We also shared a drink called "The Sixth President" which was a very strong, very tasty Long Island ice tea with some bourbon in it. I recommend both!

Consistently wonderful theatre and the dining in the Cast and Crew is excellent.

Saw Guys and Dolls. Exceptional talent. Great show with A-1 cast.

The show was amazing! Very talented actors and singers, live band, and great set.

Just saw Ghost and it was excellent!! Don't miss it. The acting, set and singing were awesome. High quality production and very entertaining for all ages--17-82 yrs in our group.

This place is a gem. We went to 2shows this year and they were both great. Professional without the snobby.

Great social atmosphere! Great menu. I love the staff and what comes out of the kitchen is always top notch!

Very funny play (A gentleman's guide to love and murder). Very well acted great staging. Very affordable. OLD LOG: PLEASE REPAIR YOUR LIGHTS IN YOUR PARKING LOT. IT IS TOO DARK.

I've been here before , this is a smaller theatre. The seats are rather small and bolted to the floor. Good view from all seats. Even though we sat in the back row of the main seating area the price was a bit high. Good sound system. Nice perk is you can take your beverage into the theatre.

Cast & Cru Restaurant & Bar is one of favorite in the Twin Cities - the most delicious chef-prepared food. It's extra special and feels like you're in the countryside. We LOVE the Old Log Theater!!

The play was good. Not well attended on a Wednesday night, but that didn't detract from the experience. There has been major remodeling since our last visit. .

I like this fairly casual theatre setting and that there is the bar/restaurant outside of the theater itself. Can't wait to go back!

Great playhouse and one of the best restaurants in the West Metro with or without a play. Awesome for happy hour too!

Great experience for our preschooler! We came with our school and by the time we came out of the show, lunch was cooking... it smelled fantastic, I'll have to bring my husband out on date night and try the restaurant too.

Went for a company lunch and the food was definitely pre-prepared. We sat right by the kitchen and we're watching the food come out. Only the pasta was freshly cooked. The pork chops we're dry & leathery & mash potatoes were barely warm. I can understand that to feed a large crowd can be difficult but I wonder when or how long ago the food was made before it was given to us at the table.

Charming theatre currently running Life Could Be A Dream, a delightful musical.

A truly wonderful experience. I saw "Life Could Be A Dream." All of the actors were great, especially Eric Sargent...wow, what a voice! We had dinner before the show, and I really enjoyed the pressed watermelon salad and the salmon with beets. Everyone in my party of 6 enjoyed the show and the dinner. Don't miss this fantastic experience!

Beautiful setting, incredible food, great service! Really a must do if you're in the area. Wonderful performances, comfortable and lovely theater. Worth traveling for!

Play was great! Parking is very limited - & only 1 women's bathroom - but it's an older building...well maintained.

The show, "Guys and Dolls" was very good, the sound was less than optimal, the theater has a musty odor.

Saw Beehive and it was wonderful! Nice, cozy theater.

Saw Snow White & the 7 Vikings. It was cute and well done with the 11 actors and 2 stage scenes

We go to a lot of plays in the Twin Cities but have never ventured out here before. We're glad we did and we plan to be back!

The theatre is pretty large - it holds 500+ people. It was maybe 1/4 full the night we were there so we had no trouble selecting good seats. Sight lines are good from all the seats - no poles or other barriers. Cast, band, set design were all excellent. Plenty of free, onsite parking. The walk up to the theatre from the lot is really pretty, with several out-buildings that fit the theme of "old log" and lights in the trees.

There is a restaurant attached (Cast and Cru) that we did not try because the prices are pretty high, but it did look nice. It would probably be good for a special evening. There is a bar in the lobby of the theatre and you are allowed to take your drinks into the theatre.

We saw "Life Could Be a Dream" and loved it. There really not much of a plot to this show- it's all about the music. So, thankfully, the performers had amazing voices!

Always a good night out. Dixie Swim Club is a comedy about girls who swam on a H.S. Swim Team and have a reunion weekend every year.

Historic place in Minnesota to see a show. Seat could be more updated they seemed a little cramped. But overall it was a really nice theater.
