Great for a special night out - the two teppenyaki grill stations fit up to 9 people in your party. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to sit at one of the stations on a weekend night - it s in the middle of Waikiki so it s going to be popular with tourists and locals alike.

If you re hungry the okonomiyaki is a good choice - it s huge, filling and tasty! If you get teppenyaki, you ll want to pay extra for the complete set which includes salad, rice and dessert.

Tasted so so. The main dishes looked pretty small. A little bit expensive. They tried to take the dishes done very quickly and frequently so interrupted our talks a lot. Not sure with 4+ stars.

Teppanyaki cuisine and more than okonomiyaki.

Teppanyaki cuisine and more than okonomiyaki.
One pair course with champagne and dessert was divided by three people.
The United States was large enough and that was enough.
Big shrimp is on okonomiyaki and surprised.
It is fluffy and delicious.
Yakisoba is also delicious and fillet meat.
The local fish and poki were also delicious.
The butter and shrimp teppanyaki were also delicious.

An affordable and delicious lunch!! My lady and I did chicken teriyaki, crepe style yakisoba, and scallop and bacon okonomiyaki. I work at kaiwa teppan and sushi and would always Dee this place driving by. Really glad we tried it today!

The okonomiyaki is fantastic and affordable with a wide range of toppings to choose from. I've had okonomiyaki several times in Japan and the stuff here compares really well!

Highly recommend eating at the grill, it's always fun watching the chef cook it in front of you and they are super nice and accommodating.

They put it next to the steak
Eat it
It's really the worst restaurant
The price was also expensive and the taste was exceptional
Is the raw wasabi that I served out?
There was no pungent scent
never! Never go
If you go, I regret it

Located in central Waikiki off Kalakaua Ave, so super convenient if you're staying in Waikiki.

The food was one of the best meals we had in Oahu (we didn't venture much outside of Waikiki however). It's Japanese-style teppanyaki (so not like Benihana, FYI). The dining area has two teppanyaki tables as well as bar seating, with a few tables outside as well. Even if you don't sit at the teppanyaki table, the food is usually cooked there.

Though the prices were high, we enjoyed the food immensely. Standouts were the kimchi octopus and garlic chicken. The gyoza was interesting, but the portion was super small. What you're paying for is the location and the labor. For example, the okonomiyaki was $30. There is a happy hour if you get there before 6pm and some of the items are discounted.

All in all, Chibo was a great dining experience. I recommend it as a "nice" sit down meal. It's better than other restaurants in the area at that price.

This place had very good service and even better food. I had never had okonomiyaki before but this was a delicious way to try it. It is more expensive than I expected but still very good food.
