I've had two surgeries at OSH, one in 2011 and one in 2021 and both went very smoothly. This place is amazing and is so well run from the moment you arrive til you are wheeled out to your car. Tulsa is so lucky to have it. All the staff were wonderful, helpful, kind people who seem to truly enjoy their jobs. All of the nurses and techs on the 8th floor were so great to me during my 4-day stay in room 820! Thank you so much OSH!
This place is awsome! I had a urological surgery and am very modest, they made sure I was prepped by men only and made me feel like I mattered to them. Thanks for a wonder experience, I felt with 4 or 5 nurses and techs and every one of them were a credit to their profession.

Had surgery today Dr. Fox is an amazing surgeon he gets a 5 star. The staff was super friendly and beyond caring. They treat you like family I loved it. however some people are not knowledgeable at all. I had to come up on Monday for pre op and get medicine and a sling. But when I got there they said they didn t receive an order for these items so I said my surgery is Wednesday, they said oh next week? I said no tomorrow.. so then here comes Wednesday ( today) I told my wife to go to the second floor to get my meds and sling so I can have it when I get out of surgery. The meds were there but they said no one told them I needed a sling.. ypu would think with a AC joint reconstruction that a sling would be obviously needed. So my wife had to be pushy to get the sling because she needed to give it to the doctors before I got out. So she went back to level 3 and told the front desk I need you to give this to the nurse for my husband. They said they didn t know either and needed to contact someone. Then the nurse they spoke with said she didn t know I needed a sling either.. VERY UNCOORDINATED HOSPITAL. If someone was having a surgery you think they would be prepared.. not have my wife doing their job for them!!!!! Dr. Fox is the best thank you so much! Whoever was in charge of making sure my sling and medicine was ready you really need to do a better job and be prepared better for your patient.
First off, I m not from Tulsa. I drove 9 hrs to get here. But, this was by far the best experience I ve ever had in a hospital, from scheduling, to surgery, to post op. All around just amazed at the love shown by the workers here. To top it off, I got a wonderful note in the mail from the nursing staff, thanking me for the opportunity to serve me. Y all are amazing, God bless y all!!

By far the best hospital I ve ever been to! I recently was a patient having back surgery and every single person was friendly and they all seemed to genuinely love their job. I was on the 8th floor and in room 801 and I wish I could remember the names of all my nurses because they deserve so much praise from me!! The nurses took such great care of me and were critical in my successful recovery. Thank you so much to everyone!!
One of the best things about OSH is that they assume that you will get lost, so someone actually takes you where you need to go. I am impressed with the pleasantness of the employees--they actually smile. My out-patient surgery was handled smoothly and efficiently, but with kindness and sensitivity. Despite my positive experience, here's hoping neither you nor I need to go there.
