All dads on here need to do your research. These chuld support is fraud and voluntary, go study the title Iv agency and how they work these frauds and crooks are getting rich off non custodial parents.
The state receives federal funding to enforce child support so it has nothing to do with best intrest of the children. We need to sue these people for fraud.

Absolute joke! I don't argue having to pay Child support, I am more than happy to pay my share. The problem is that they treat you as if you're a dead beat. I have requested multiple reviews for modification and they say that paperwork will be on the way, but I never receive it. Don't bother using any of their online or automated services. I updated my new employer info last month and they still haven't updated their system. After sitting on hold for 2 hrs, the lady who answered said she wasn't my rep so she would write a note and pass it on. She then goes on to tell me that they have filed non-payment since I failed to provide payment...This system is needed, but needs a major overhaul and they need to replace every employee.

Look at these reviews. Would anything other than a tax payer funded operation be able to remain in business with these reviews? Typical of all taxpayer funded industries. It is as bad as they ALL say... maybe worse. Good luck to anyone who must deal with them each month or rely on them for any info. or records. My opinion has NOTHING to do with paying my child support. That s easy.

My ex lies to ORS about not working, and so I give them the address and name of the company--even his position. It takes them over a month to resume payments. The best part? They don't bother telling you if the payments have stopped. With irregular payments, it takes weeks to figure out they're not coming due to lack of communication, or is it simply fear because they can't do their job appropriately?

Why is it this department has to make paying such a hassle? When you call to make a payment the option is not even available...then your on hold forever. When you try to pay on-line it's two pages worth of instructions long. Give us a break you scream that you want payments....when in reality....you just want to piss moan and complain! Please fix your system....and your workers attitudes might need adjusting as well.

Some of the employees here know there job... while many (including supervisors) are unable to answer questions without becoming defensive and demeaning and resort very desperate and disgusting measure for being unknowledgable.

Part 1: Deadbeat Dad is a term that s thrown around quite a bit when people speak of companies like ORS. Sometimes, that term is applicable. But, being a deadbeat parent definitely isn t limited to the dad. What about the moms who are scamming the system? Who barely work, by choice? Who live a poor life on paper, but enjoy more luxuries than their counterparts who consistently work fulltime?
Consider a mother of 4 school aged children, who worked fulltime for 11 of the 13 years she was married. She has a college degree and almost 20 years of experience in her field. Since her divorce, she maintains a steady 15 hours of work per week at a rate of $20+ dollars per hour. On paper, she s living far below the poverty line. She s poor, right? Being poor has provided her with the following benefits, just to name a few .free breakfast and lunch for her children, waivers for school fees, free windows and a new furnace for her house, and Medicaid coverage (despite the fact that the father carries the kids on his commercial insurance plan).
After a year and a half of legal proceedings, the father was granted 60/40 custody. His child support was reduced by a whopping $174 per month. There was wording in the paperwork stating that The parties will defer child support calculation to ORS. The parties will cooperate with ORS and submit all necessary documentation to assist ORS in calculation of child support, in accordance with ORS policies and procedures. This wording was included due to the mothers refusal to mediate.
Fast forward a bit, and deadbeat dad who now has joint custody, and has NEVER missed a payment decides to retain an attorney in hopes of reducing child support, and searching for a fair solution. Proof of mom s education, work history, earning potential, and misuse of the states resources are reported to the Attorney General s representative for ORS issues, Maryann Ito.
Maryann Ito s office quickly rejects the suggestion that child support has been incorrectly calculated. Their response is that although they were able to conduct a more detailed investigation, and have the paperwork proving the other parties ability to work fulltime, they chose not to pursue it further. The day of court comes, and the commissioner appears to seriously consider both sides of this issue. He then states that he has no intention of discrediting Ms. Ito in his courtroom, and what she has written and decided will continue to be the directive for this case. Policies and procedures were brought up multiple times, although specifics were never revealed. Imputing this mom at a fulltime wage would mean doing a bit of work, and acknowledging that the numbers were initially figured incorrectly. The ORS website clearly states that child support is based on each party working the equivalent of one fulltime job. Fair numbers was the request. Nothing more. Basically, this dad was figuratively slapped in the face for daring to question ORS and the Attorney General. He was even forced to pay the attorney fees for both parties.

I have moved back to Idaho from Utah and have told these guys such but they don t want to listen.

Without ORS I would never receive a dime of child support for my children. Although not super up to date, I appreciate their help in holding parents accountable and responsible for their part in financially raising children!!!

This department treats everyone like a dead beat parent. They are only here to take money. Very, very difficult to speak to anyone and resources are almost non existent because the law basically allows them to do what they want and there is nothing you can do about it and they all know it.

I'm far from a dead beat dad. I pay a lot of money every month through California's child support system yet my credit totally destroyed because Utah won't update what my balance is. My credit report shows that I owe over $100,000. Unbelievable. Punish even the dads that do make their payments. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The woman over my case was awful. They make it impossible to work with them. I have never been treated so rude and disrespectfully. I will not be using their services nor would i recommend them to anyone.

I have had the privilege of being the one that had to pay. This is a interesting organization to say the least. I keep very good records and when they send statements they were always off by a lot sometimes over $10000. So I would call and request there records. And every time they would say good luck we don't even understand our records. I do think that they provide a valuable service. But strongly recommend you keep your own records you just might need them.

Ridiculous. Everything about it is difficult, and they aren't there for anyone. Customer service is terrible, it's a pain to pay anything, but if you're late a day, you can bet they are on the phone with you.

No one likes ORS for obvious reasons, but I have always been treated with respect from my reps.

I am in the process of suing them. I have used youtube to learn my rights, it turns out, you shouldn't pay child support unless it is ordered by the court. ORS is not a court, it is a third party company. I would also like to organize a protest around that ORS building down town. Because it's really hard to get attention from law makers. Every person who is paying child support should join me.

How is it that you can justify giving me a refund check of 124 bucks when I just pulled the receipt and i over paid by over 2300 and you only send my kids mom and my kids payment way under what you take....just wondering

I'm married to the father of my baby and because we were on Medicaid for a short time they opened a child support case. Obviously if we're married we don't need child support. I spoke with someone named Lori who seemed kind and understanding of our situation and closed the case for us. The call took maybe two minutes. So for my situation everything was handled very professionally and quickly. I cannot speak for those who actually have a valid case.

I don't even know how i can rate this place a 1 star because it doesn't deserve anything. people are so rude and make you feel completely dumb for asking a question that you clearly dont know. FIX IT or find new employees that i'm sure are mothers to know how it feels to go through this bummy service.

Going on 11 years now with no support from ORS. They keep getting worse and worse and now I cannot even speak to my case worker because their call center handles all incoming calls. But they email you to call for an update, but there's never an update and you have to call back. It's a round and round circle. They're good with $9 payments even when the other parent is tens of thousands behind in support. As long as they've made a payment ors won't do ANYTHING for you. Worst government agency I've ever dealt with.

It is pathetic that a young single mother that chooses to keep her child, thinking she will actually get the financial help she NEEDS gets treated the way she does when calling in to ORS. This conversation just turned negative very quickly, after asking "when will legal action against the father be taken, after waiting 16 years for very very little, or no child support at all?" Absolutely the worst organization. Completely incompetent at processing payments and will not take any responsibility for their many errors. All the ORS does is make demands and issue threats. The cultural marxist neo-communist state at it's best.

As many others have stated, the SLC ORS department doesn't even deserve 1 star... I honestly do not know what they're being paid for over there. ORS are crooks who are stealing $$ directly from needy children and the customer service is horrendous!

I've had my case open since 2009/2010 and up until recently, the payments were very infrequent and the only reason my children have ever received payment is because I have had to them where he was working on numerous occasions. He owes 12,000 back child support on our case. He recently paid well over $10,000 this year alone, I have personally seen his paperwork stating that his taxes and other wages were deposited to ORS. So why then are my children receiving less than what's court ordered?! I do not owe anything to the state and the other woman on his case (whose like a sister to me) just barely opened a case last year has informed me that they've received lump sums in the thousands, meanwhile my children are lucky if they get $150 a month.

It doesn't make sense why they wouldn't apply his payment(s) to the $12,000+ he owes to my children. I've called to speak with customer service on these discrepancies, and each time I am met with a hostile, defensive, and ignorant representative who makes me feel like I am not allowed to question anything on my account. I understand that they have no real power over disbursing payments; however, they do have power over their poor attitude and lack of compassion. Customer service reps are supposed to welcome your questions and offer assistance, not make you feel like an annoying burden for having questions. I feel like I have done 100% of the detective work to get the child support and now I am basically feeding their pockets while my children are going without their court ordered child support!!!

Ok. Here are my thoughts: ORS unto itself is an extortion mafia arm of Utah State. They extort money from mainly fathers and seem to lump all fathers as dead beats. I paid child support on time every month for 18 1/2 years (yes you have to pay for kids even after they are 18 if they are still in school). I am also on. The flip side where I am supposed to get paid child support for another child I have full custody of. My ex is nearly always behind, late or simply does not pay. And she has never been threatened with any type of action, even after getting 18 months behind at one point. I really feel they aggressively purse fathers or mothers who are supposed to pay. Additonally, I have been researching them because we are working on a documentary to expose Utah's entire broken family law system and it appears Utah gets reimbursed by the Federal Hoverment about .66 for every 1.00 collected. We are talking many multi millions in revenue. On top of that, they charge is a monthly fee to collect and even a yearly fee. They are making nearly .75 for every 1.00 after all is accounted for.

I have had years where the state employee service is downright horrible. I mean they treat us like dogs on the phone. They seem to forget we pay their salaries, their office space and their retirement. The tax payers! They honestly don't care.

I realize a high percentage of the public would be hard to deal with. This is a highly charged and unhappy forced theft of money in many cases. But they still need to remain professional and maintain service levels. If not, find another job! Plain and simple.

Now I will say the worker on my case the last few years has been really decent to talk to. She is the only reason I gave two stars. Otherwise it would be 1. Their automated phone system is a complete joke and waste of time. Utah family law is corrupt, needs reform and exposure on every level! Look my organization up on FB. RUFL Utah. We are Utah's biggest parental rights organization after just two short years!

The most comical thing about this organization is the $2 convenience fee. The webpage is so awful to navigate that it is far from convenient. There isn t a mobile version. My account doesn t remember my banking information so it all has to be reentered every time. They should call it the $2 pain in the a$$ fee.

Horrible customer service does not want to do anything to help. My ex is 11 years behind in his child support got one payment in March, was told to call back 6 business days after the month of March. Call back they tell me to call back in 5 business days they have to look into it. Call back 7 business days later to give them some time, come to find out they didn't do anything tell I called that day. Call back a couple of days later to be told don't call back tell May 2nd because they need more time to do more research. Are you kidding me you just had pretty the month of April to find out what is going on. They can't give me any other answer except call back. I'm treated like I'm the dead beat parent. I have to do all the work for them because they have limited resources. I don't get paid to do there job. How the hell do you have limited resources when your the state. I thought there were laws in place for dead beat parents they are supposed to go to jail for not paying child support but yet he gets away with it they won't touch him because he's in another state. ORS NEEDS TO GET THERE ACT TOGETHER!!!!

THE WORST! THEY TAKE MORE THAN A MONTH TO PROCESS A SINGLE PAYMENT. THE PHONE REPS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE DOING!! THEY'LL TAKE YOUR CHILD SUPPORT WON'T SEND IT AND THEN THEY PASS THE BLAME!! AND THE WORST PART IS THAT THEY EVEN OFFER SUPERVISOR CALLS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!! DON'T USE THEM!!!!

I haven't had a problem with collecting child support as far as ors is concerned. The father just wont pay the full amount every month so thats on him . But there definetely are some things that need to change. Like my case was delayed because of a previous divorce that had just been finalized in court. Ors was taking a long time to start on collecting child support and when I called to ask why they said its because my case had been transfered to some other office and I would have to contact them to work it all out??? For what reason I still dont have a clue. And then was waiting another very long period of time for that to be worked out. I called back and they said my case hadnt advanced because didnt provide information that i know i already provided about the father so I gave them the information they needed and again saw no results for a significant period of time. when i called back yet again they said i wasnt recieving child support because i elected to only recieve medical support for my kids and i would need to reapply chosing the correct option. i commented that i wouldnt do that because my kids had medicaid and i didnt need medical support. So i reapplied and when i did i realized the wording on the application is very confusing when it comes to selecting what kind of support your asking for. I did make the wrong selection because I thought I was saying no my kids have medicaid so I want everything except for medical support. after I submited that last application the process of selection actually went pretty quickly.

My EX OWES ME 27,800 in back child support. I don't know how they let it get to this amount. If they are even a month behind they should take further action and do something drastic and send their asses to jail. But no when I call and ask them if they have done anything they just say we have a big case load and a lot of cases we have to take care of.... it's a damn joke and they are the biggest pieces of crap as far as customer service goes!!! And the wait time to even talk to a representative is a JOKE!!!!

I have had problems getting my money lately. I call to find out what the issue is and they act like it's a big secret where my money is. They say they give the employers who are sending the money a month and 5 days to get it to them. Why so long? Isn't it your job to find out where the money is? They are not helpful, and unreliable. Making it hard to be a single mom trying to take care of their kids.

It amazes me that they can keep on top of my health insurance benefits and collect the information on it within a week or two of ms signing up for benefits, YET they can't stay on top of child support and are extremely lienent on the donor and his inability to pay child support on a regular basis.
They seriously need to re-Do the ORS program and crack down on those not paying and this company for NOT collecting.

This organization supports legalized kidnapping! By continuing to collect child support for a child I had illegally kidnapped from me by the other parent for 9 1/2 years and continuing to collect a child support payment from me each month. And on the flip side, I have custody of a child as well and her mother regularly is behind on support a year or more and ORS has done absolutely nothing to make her get current, other than put a lein on her tax return each year. Utah child support and family law are a complete joke and mokery of justice. The system is completely broken and a day of reckoning is coming for the corrupt judges, state workers and attorneys. The public has had enough of this corrupt system!!!!

They're dumb... I've filed since 2014. my children's father's MOTHER called them and was denying payment of $700 for 4 kids we have like they're just gonna disappear since we're seperated and they honored it and they didn't do anything till last month and I've told them I didn't need them anymore since he's paying more for our mortgage more than they're making him pay... They need proper training and not hired people that aren't RACIST!!!

This place is a joke. Funny that they can put a hold on your bank account when your only two months behind because I switched jobs but they can t enforce visitation rights..giving these moms money when they aren t even allowing you to see your kid is a joke.

The agent that I spoke with was not only condescending and rude, he tone was louder than mine and she called me names. It seems that when dealing with things of this matter, that they would hire people who have professionalism at all times and who are compassionate as their customers are probably going through some of the worst times of their life. If the agent I spoke to worked for me, I would have fired her on the spot as I Have before. Its not ok.

My ex owes me $18,000 in child support arrears. The amount he pays me? $27.00 a month. There is something extremely wrong with the whole system. However, it's the government, this should come as no shock.

These people just denied a request to lower child support payments for my husband. So if he has more kids it isn't good enough to lower the payments. Apparently no matter how many children we have, the payments won't be lowered. How do they expect someone to be able to support themselves along with 3 other people when they are taking 1/4 of his paycheck for just 2 other people? Utah needs to fix their child support system. That is money getting taken away from MY children!

For years I have accused my child's dad of being a dead beat even though he said that he pay child support out of every paycheck I never received anything. And then to my surprise one day I get this giant check. I called to find out what was going on and they told me that they had made a mistake. What about all those times that I could have been using that money? Their mistake cost me and my child years of stress for no reason

My son's father owes $19,000 and hasn't paid anything for several years. I asked what legal action could be taken and after almost 2 years, we finally had a court date. I asked the assistant attorney general to ask for jail time.
Unfortunately, about a month before court, COVID-19 had everything shut down so the court case was postponed until further notice.
Then the stimulus checks from the CARES act started going out. The only reason those checks were to be garnished was to pay any child support arrears. I was so excited to finally have a support payment coming!

Over 2 years ago, I applied for disability after a major back surgery. I'm still waiting for that to go to court and I've been unable to work. Eventually, I had to apply for TANF which gives me $399.00 a month for me and my son to live on. It's been extremely difficult considering just my rent costs more than that!

Apparently, when a custodial parent is receiving TANF funds, the non-custodial parent is responsible to repay that. So, the day I saw ORS received the stimulus payment but before it was transferred to me, I was able to purchase a few items for my son that I'd been unable to for long. It felt really good.
A few days went by and I still hadn't received my child support payment. I went back to the ors site and the payment no longer showed on my account. I started thinking I'd dreamed the whole thing!
After another couple days, I finally called ORS to see what was going on.

ORS decided to take the stimulus checks from custodial parents to repay TANF. They say they're taking it from the person who owes child support, but, come on! That money was meant for my son!
And that's basically the entire reason ORS exists. To collect child support! So, they've failed to prosecute a felony, which owing that much child support is, I've given them information to prove he has income under table, and now they're taking federal funds meant for children to make payments to the state government!!
Although, they did tell me that if a child was in foster care, the payment was processed and sent to the guardian. That feels discriminatory to me! And probably to all the other custodial parents who struggle to barely scrape by!!

Beyond disappointed in this whole situation.

ORS has allowed my ex wife to be overpaid $255.00 per month in direct conflict with Utah state law. She received a lump sum as a result of my Social security claim and she continues to be overpaid each month to a total of over $12,000.00. I've asked by telephone and email, I've even supplied them a source to the law which is clearly in my favor, how they will correct their error, but have no response to date.
Many reviews here suggest the ORS staff is rude and I disagree. I've dealt with child support recovery in another state and by comparison ORS is not rude, ineffective possibly, but not particularly offensive.
ORS when will you correct your error and return my $12,495.00, increasing by $255.00 monthly?

They are so inconsistent with garnering my x husband's wages who has had the same job the last 4 years. I've had nothing but issues with ORS, and they speak out of both sides of their mouths! Government jobs should be held to a higher standard than this!

My ex voluntarily opened a case when we got divorced. Now that we're on better terms, I'm sure he regrets that. He is trying to do a modification, and even with an expensive attorney it takes YEARS. Meanwhile, him trying to lower my support doesn't even phase me because, I learned right out of the starting gate, not to count on ORS to send payments. Its completely normal to go 3, 4 or even 6 weeks without getting money even though my ex pays them bi-weekly AND a portion of his monthly commission, thats 3-5 support payments a month. They just take their cut and send it to wherever until they decide they have nothing better to do than release funds to me. Don't count on support for monthly bills. Use it for semi annual expenses like clothes, dental work and holidays. That's the key to surviving the inconsistency.

I don't even want to give them 1 star. They are so rude and unkind. Completely desensitized by their job. My child support has been so inconsistent and they are practically useless on helping you retrieve it. I understand everything is a process...but they do not take the initiative to help and it's so sad and unfortunate because only the children suffer. Step it up Provo. You need to realize how your actions affect others....and if you do realize it make changes.

They don't care to help you all they say if your ex keeps your kids from you is take them back to court but how can you afford to do that when they take half your money and tell you that you have to pay back the state assistance that your ex got they want you to pay that back even when your ex works under the table and if she owes you money they don't care they just want to make it so dad's can't live and support there new family's

I called the phone number listed on their website (the only number I could find) and got stuck in the automated phone system. I tried saying talk to operator, talk to agent, talk to live human, talk to representative, etc many times yet could not figure out what to say nor did the menu ever tell me what button to push to speak with a live person. I went through all their prompts, tried for about 30 minutes, and never got through. It looks like I will have to go to their physical bldg to ask a simple question. They have earned every bit of this one star review.

the girl working at the window threw a pen from her desk in to the opening when i ask for a pen. that was an extreme attitude she could not get up and do it nicely. i called the supervisor to complain.

Every time that I have called or had to deal with them they ve been really rude. They took more money out of my account then what was owed and didn t give me A refund they just put it towards the next month. Isuggest if you Ever have to deal with the ORS save up money and get A lawyer to help you with your situation because it doesn t matter if the Dad s paying child support where the mom whatever parent that has to pay they literally don t care about. The fact is they say they care about the children and that is to make sure the children are provided for. But if they cared they would make sure the child support was spent on the children and not up to whatever parent is receiving it. I was overpaying by $61 every month and for some reason when I received my taxes that amount went up despite the fact that I was overpaying to the exact amount of what my tax return was supposed to be. This place is seriously a joke. I have 1 case for 2 of my kids and he pays 243 a month for 2 kids makes $12 an hour my boy friend makes $12 an hour and pays just over $400 a month for his 2 kids. My oldest son s father was on disability and only had to pay $30 a month then they told me they were closing my case now that he is working as a truck driver he is paying $30 a month whenever he feels like it through ors but they won t change the amount. I work a full time job busting my butt a work going home to take care of my kids and barely make it by.

I HAD PROOF that I transferred the exact amount of child support to my ex-wife. on time. but because I didn't write a check and put "child support" in the memo line, ORS refused to count these payments as child support. Why would I send a transfer to my ex that was the exact amount of my child support on a bi-weekly basis, for anything other than child support. I had to go back to court and spend more money to get my payment recognized. ORS should have to re-imbrues me for the legal fees their lack of common sense caused!

Then these I sent in proof I had insurance coverage for my boys, and let ORS know that it was highly likely that my ex was covering her new husband on his plan. of course she took her sweet time getting the documentation in, and ORS continued to collect more money than they should have. Furthermore they refused to refund what I had overpaid. When they said they couldn't force my ex to send documentation regarding her insurance I suggested removing her credit until she could provide proof that he even had coverage for the kids. Of course they couldn't do that.

A year later, on the 3rd of January (two days after my new benefits go into place) Threatening to remove my insurance credit if I do not provide documentation I have maintained insurance.

I have no problem providing the documentation but it is absolutely clear that ORS treated me very differently than they did my ex. ORS is blatantly BIASED. We have courts, judges and attorneys complaining about dockets being too full in family courts. The reason they are too full is because they rarely arrive at a fair conclusion. It shouldn't be so hard. Why does it cost thousands to mediate or litigate financial situation for a W2'd divorcing couple! throw in custody to that mix and you nearly go bankrupt to stand up to MAINTAIN your parental rights. Why should I have to spend thousands to stand up of mine and my children's rights. Child support itself has turned custody on its head. Deadbeats demand custody for financial gain! I would take 100% custody of my kids, and be happy not receiving a dime from my ex.

ORS is and the legal courts in Utah are Corrupt, and biased.

You have to basically hand them the other parents info where they work and where they live they do not atemt to find them and when you do get the othere parents info they take months to do anything with iteven when its already court orded

A great example of why government should never be trusted to do anything..

Everyone that I've talked to has been super nice. They are more efficient than the state we lived in prior to moving here. However, they aren't perfect and hold times can often be lengthy. They also take a considerable amount of time to make decisions and the like without explaining them really well. I still give them four stars because for me, they've gotten the job done.

For those of us that only have the option of using the Office of Recovery Services, they are failing miserably. Two people work and the Salt Lake office, all of the standards you think would be enforced to assure accuracy, are not. Basically, it's better than nothing, but you will pay dearly for their services.

One star is too nice for these inhumane scumbags!!! -5 stars is really my review. This group of communist, governmental, non-human drones is a practical example of why so many distrust government now days and why the system is BROKEN! These people have no care and no compassion whatsoever for the suffering of others. They only care about their agenda. They see all dads as deadbeat and have shown their bias for being men haters. I have the legally recorded phone records to prove it! They could care less if I almost died due to a serious health issue and could no longer make the money to house or feed my new wife and child on the way. No, they still want me to pay my ex-wife who now since works for the church making $50,000-$60,000 per year, her additional "child support" of $1114 per month for two kids of which there is very little evidence my two children even see the benefits because she puts it into savings to build her own wealth! ORS said "they may decide to conduct a review at some point but it could take 2 years before the payments would change." So in the meantime I just bleed to death financially???! ORS and the law makers in Utah will stand accountable some day. They will have to answer as to why they take great pleasure out of destroying the lives of others with all their progressive man hating agenda.

I have always found them fair to both my ex and I as well as helpful and clear. Their schedule is based off of the employers pay schedule and not the court order, but this is easier for the employer involved and I believe a fair system.

I've never had a problem with the ors. I find them helpful and the best way to make sure my cash gets to my kids. Trusting our ex's is allways hard and maybe you never can but kids don't see the money they see you and your smile when they think of you. Stay strong, make that money and get it to your kids. This place is a big scam will not help any fathers out even if they have full custody nothin but giving you the run around telling me theres nothing they can do about me receiving child support on time and i have to just wait and see.

Susanne Burnett an employee there laughed at me while asking questions about my account very unprofessional. They only care about one thing and that isn't the law. Dishonest organization I will leave it at that.

Horrible entity and they make it impossible to pay. The website never works, they don't process information in a timely fashion, but their customer service is pretty good. Do yourself a favor and hash your child support out with your ex.

Never consistent with payments. Sometimes going as long as 6 months without a payment. They tell you the other party has 45 days to make a payment but when it's past that and you call they have every excuse in the book as to why they haven't proceeded with charges on the other party.

They lie to DWS and claim they are collecting. I went over a year without child support yet couldn't get state assistance because of their lies claiming I was getting it. Today I had to call them and they claimed he wasn't behind, I pointed out he is over $7000 behind and the response was that of a deer caught in the headlights.

They clearly are charging you for a service they are failing to provide. Child support days are never consistent and never the same amount.

I want to fire them but cant because he is behind, yet because I can't fire them I can not get any state assistance.

FAILURE!! THIS STATE AND IT'S SYSTEMS ARE A FAILURE. Women and children go without and the lack of incoming is killing our credit. I can't provide meals for my children, pay my bills, provide for their needs. All Because ORS can not get it together and do what they are supposed to.

FAILURE OF A SYSTEM!!!

This place garnished my paychecks when I had been divorced for over 4 years from a girl who told them who the father was and did a d.n.a. test on me finding me not to be the father of this child. They stole thousands of dollars from me and told me I am out of luck. Anyone who has the money to sue them for wrong doing should they deserve it.

If I could give negative stars I would. My ex owes $24000. I never upped child support. Hardly ever receive it. ORS finally takes something after 7 months, which is perfectly normal. Then they have the audacity to give it to the state saying I owe the state. I what the F? My boys are 14! I m not on any state assistance. I call and it doesn t even matter. They take it anyway. ORS is not ok.

It's probably easier to a hold of president Obama, than this lazy people. They never answer the phone.

They never did much for me except somehow forgive $10,000 in back child support for my children's dad still would love to know how that happened?? But I can never get straight answers or explanations so their worthless like the boys dad not sure what they get paid to do but yea
