Very good advice
The plan is very good
Good space. They provide quick and accurate information in dominant languages such as French, English and Spanish on the tourist possibilities of Bordeaux and its surroundings, including vineyards and wineries, which can be visited, preferably with prior reservation. Advised we do the yellow route on foot.
A tourist office in the historic center ..... next to the most central tram station ..... and close to the most beautiful squares in Bordeaux. A guy who spoke Italian provided all the information we needed, also giving valuable advice. The lady at the tour booking desk was also very professional, even though she didn't speak our language.
We went for a full-day tour of the wineries in the areas West and East of Bordeaux. Overall, a decent experience but probably not worth the price (about 150, lunch included). The guides were rather knowledgable and pleasant to be with. Interesting to see the cellars and the historical town of Saint-Emilion. The food served at the restaurant was OK, what you would expect from a school/office canteen, with a very limited menu choice. Regarding the wine tasting, the wine was not always fresh (bottles opened the day before in some cases), and as the red wines are quite intense, we would have actually enjoyed them more with some finger food aside. Certainly there's some value add in having many questions answered, but if you are on a budget, just rent a car and you won't have troubles finding shops and vineries where you can taste as much wine as you want - we've just tasted 4 different blends of wines in the whole day and would have maybe preferred to taste more varieties, not necessarily from bottles in a 25-50 range.
It is crowded, something normal during the holiday season, but the attention was great and in our language
It would be far more helpful if it was named Office du Tourism on google maps, as it is called in French! Wasted 30 minutes walking to train station to the mini tourism office only to be told the main one was somewhere else.
Very attentive apart from speaking English, Spanish and French
Extremely helpful staff (if you speak French it's better ) starting point for information brochures timetables and costs on the wine region.
Very warm welcome, helpful staff, smiling, attentive. Thank you
Dear, they give you all the information you want as well as tourist maps, train timetables and much more.
This place is part of places, where I go before when I'm in Bordeaux.
We are on the Oceania Nautica and I can t thank Pierre enough for his information, map and book of Bordeaux!!!! We walked the UNESCO path he recommended and saw, felt and experienced so much of Bordeaux !!! Thank you Pierre we Love your city!!
Average reception. Displays full of everything and nothing. No explanation why we want to be autonomous.
Otherwise the place is bright and clean and modern.
Very good advice answered all but question and itineraries of the places visited, in the recesses of the city of Bordeaux with the unusual places. "Bordeaux is a very beautiful city visited, for it's monument, the big squares and are wine of course"
Very welcome by a trainee, I recommend, much better than a Google search! :)
They have sign posts with the flag of Spain and nobody speaks or understands
A lot of options available for visiting Bordeaux and the vicinities; employees are very helpful and welcoming
The galley is very well located for tourists, very modern, and the integrated gift shop is very convenient! :)
Lots of places closed and no indication from the tourist office (submarine base until March 2018 and natural history museum until ....) damage a lot of steps could have been avoided with a child .
Warm welcome despite a terrible queue, the lady took the necessary time to explain the places to visit and the passes available
Very well located in the center of Bordeaux, the staff is really welcoming and informed me very well for an outing that I offer to my sister and my brother-in-law. There is also a souvenir shop.
We paid 12 euros for the walking tour which was very interesting
Friendly employee to assist you to enjoy your stay in Bordeaux
Bordeaux is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Well done to the staff of the office.
Kindness and kindness! There are also a variety of tours, so it's a good place to stop by and get some information!
We sold Medoc chocolate, which we often bought in our shop, and it was nice to have a more diverse taste and size! It is also recommended as a travel souvenir.
I WAS ATTENDED AND INFORMED VERY CAREFULLY AND WITH A SLOW SPEAKING FRENCH TO MAKE IT ACCESSIBLE. IF THEY ENTER TO RUN I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING AND IT SEEMS THAT SOME FRENCH PEOPLE ENJOY
I took the walking tour organised by them and it was very good. It lasted two hours and touched the main tourist sites.
the phone reception was detestable, I was hung up on the nose!
it must depend on days because sometimes it's charming ....
Everything you would expect from a tourist office. By cons no toilet and I do not recommend the public toilet next door: unworthy of a stain of the Middle Ages.
Compared with several tourism offices in europe, this one is very organized. the information published in the website was very helpful and the employees are very kind.
Very good
Especially Isabelle who is very professional
Very nice bus ride that you can book here only sorry for the unfriendly people who help you.
Very friendly staff. Had a tour to two local chateaux, well worth the 72. Took four hours very informative.
Very good information, with tips and numerous free paper material. In the facilities there are personnel who attend in a very correct way and with good knowledge. Recommended to optimize time.
We booked a vineyard tour through this office, the operator was very professional and helpful. Great excursion
Central and open every day something that others do not usually do
Very friendly and helpful. All important information about Bordeaux.
A warm and friendly welcome for tourists, you can find all the information on the city of Bordeaux.
Super welcome even if this is normal for a tourist office, it's a pleasure. They found us a great hotel with a map. In the top.
Very good attention. Different languages are taken care of.
