Just had my baby here last week. Nurses and staff were amazing and nice. The nurses were very friendly and helpful. Also the anesthesiologist was amazing, very friendly and was keeping me updated step by step during my csection, which made me feel more relaxed/calm.Thank you for such an amazing experience welcoming our new little one.

The nursing staff in LND and post-pardom were by far the best in the business! We could not be more happy with the service and care they administered to my wife during the delivery of our precious baby Eli. We live in Midland and heard great things about ORMC and are extremely satisfied that we chose to deliver at their facility. If you are planning on having a child, make the correct move and chose ORMC for your delivery care. Special shout out to Nurses, Ann and Tara for going above and beyond the call of duty!!

This hospital is the worst hospital I have been to. I delivered my son there on December 29th and while I was in labor for 3 days I came across some of the most rudest nurses ever. My son ended up getting admitted into nicu and has been there a week, the charge nurse that was on duty today was rude and very unprofessional. He was supposed to get circumcised today and they were supposed to call us when the doctor got there and ended up calling right when she was leaving. Horrible nursing staff all around will not recommend this hospital to anyone.

My wife wanted to schedule an appointment for an ultrasound, they told her that she needed to go in person to ORMC as they needed to see the doctor's order. She had to take a few hours off from work just to go and schedule an appointment. Her appointment was finally scheduled at 10am, however the day she went to ORMC to do the ultrasound, they told her that she did not have any appointment and they wanted to schedule her for another day. My wife explained to them that she needed to do the ultrasound the same day and luckily for her, she had the post it from when the appointment was scheduled proving that the appointment was indeed scheduled at 10am. They only accepted to schedule her the same day at 1pm. She finally ended up taking the full day off and she had to drive from Midland to Odessa and back to Midland 4 times for just a simple ultrasound.
Bottom line, very disappointed of the quality of the service and very unprofessional people not really caring for people. Because of this bad experience, my wife's next ultrasound was scheduled at another hospital.

I recently had an ER visit followed by a near week long stay at this facility. I am extremely impressed by the speed and attentiveness of every single nurse I came into contact with. DR. SOSA the Doctor who attended me went above and beyond to make me as well as my family comfortable and informed of treatment and progression. I will highly recommend this hospital and staff. Everything wasnt perfect but it was very professiinal with exceptional caring.CT Imaging room was a bit crazy the a.m. I went but still treated so nicely and with respect.

I spent 5 long hours in the waiting room at the ER. Then spent another 5 hours in a room while they took blood, took a urine sample, and gave me a CT scan. I had gotten one shot of pain killers into my IV and after 5 hours they couldn't tell me what was wrong with me. A total of 10 hours at the ER and they charged me $20,000!!! I will never ever go here again! Do not go they charge such high amounts for so little work (if any) that they do. Absolute worst ER I have ever been to!!

My pregnant wife sat inside the ER for over 5 hours before finally seeing the doctor. During the waiting period every nurse she encountered was either rude, uninformative, or both. The nurse who who did the sonogram couldn t even provide details and kept ignoring my wife s questions even after she finished the sono. I thought hospitals were supposed to care for the sick. Being rude, ignoring patients, and failing to provide critical information during a time of crisis is anything but caring. We are very disappointed in the lack of professionalism that certain members of the hospital staff at ORMC represent. Shame on you! You know who you are. You guys can do better. Become a nurse because you care about people. Don t talk about it, be about it.

As I am sitting here at the female health office on the 2nd floor, I am in wonder and awe. How a place in this ugly town of Odessa could resemble a beautiful medical plaza with well kept grounds like the ones I've seen in Houston. Fully impressed. Everyone I talked to is nice. Maybe look out for people who look lost so you can direct them, that would be the only change I'd make.
It is like a maze now, though, much like MD Anderson is.

The doctor "forgot" to tell then nurse that my ER visit was over... and they left me sitting in a room for 2 hours. When I went into the hall to ask about my situation, no one was there. They refused to adjust my bill.

Took my daughter in law into labor and delivery on Dec. 28th and 1st night we are there the staff was so loud in the hall laughing and playing it kept waking up my daughter-in-law. We had the baby the next day and that went fine. The next day, they stated they were going to keep the baby another day but mom was fine to go home. The staff could not give any explanation why they were keeping the baby so we requested to speak to the physician. The nurse on staff stated that could not get ahold of the md the rest of the day. I am a registered nurse and have been an registered nurse for more than 20 years. I called the hospital and explained I was a nurse and wanted to take my daughter in law and granddaughter home and they stated I could not. I asked why and they said she was not discharged. The physician had already written discharge orders, the roads were getting icy, and we knew we would be completely frozen in the next day. I stated that we needed to leave this day so we would be happy to sign papers and leave AMA. The L & D nurse proceeds to start yelling on the phone that she would open a CPS case on us if we left with the baby. Then went to my daughter in laws room and began to threaten her. Bright and early the next morning they told her they could go home during the worst ice storm in recent years with a newborn baby. It took about 3 hours to get to the hospital and another 3 hours to get home not counting when we got there to pick them up the paperwork was still not ready for discharge.

I showed up at the hospital ER around 5:30 a.m.. In cruciating pain from a kidney stone. The ER was empty minus the worker at the window. He was very helpful he even filled out the paperwork because I was in too much pain to even thinking right. Took my vitals and took me to a room I think the nurse was there in about 15 minutes.all said and done everybody I dealt with I wish I could remember your names so I can put them on this, were more than helpful and polite

If you have to stay here any longer than a day just know your going to starve! They say they have roomservice but its a lie! I was 7 months pregnant and they gave me like nothing to eat. I had to practically beg the nurse for more food. However their NICU is good.

Stayed on the 5th floor, Majority of the Nurses were great, very helpful, responsive! My Hospitalist was disrespectful, he yelled at me?? On the several occasions I did see him, he seemed intelligent though. Uncertain of his diagnosis, but testing will prove it. Overall for a Hospital were everyone but staff is at their worst, 4 stars. Just saying he needs to develop a bedside manner.

1 star is too much for this place. My sister in law had her baby here and was refused a circumcision, forgot to give her pain medicine so she went 6-7 hours without anything, then they gave her medicine she shouldn t have while breastfeeding (codeine). Then, they took the baby for over 5 hours after telling her she needed to feed baby every two hours. Told her the baby was with the pediatrician when she asked the nurse to bring the baby back. The pediatrician walked in the room a few minutes later also looking for baby. Then, blood has gotten on the bathroom floor and my brother asked the nurse for someone to clean it, they told him it was his responsibility so he asked for cleaning supplies and was denied. He came back to the room to find my sister in law, who had just given birth, trying to clean up the floor. When my sister in law asked for help with a sitz bath, the nurse looked at her in disgust and told her to do it herself. I don t recommend this place to anyone.

NO STARS!! ER IS ILLEGAL!!! THEY WILL REFUSE TO TREAT YOU & KICK YOU OUT IF YOU DO NOT PAY THEM = ZERO STARS!!! If you have NO MONEY TO PAY AT THE ER they they will tell you they do not have to treat you & refuse to provide services NO MATTER WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU IF YOU HAVE AN ILLNESS THAT CAN KILL YOU THEY WILL STILL KICK YOU OUT!!! It's illegal but they get away with it!!! They will make you wait 2-3 hours in waiting area then take you to the back make you wait another 2-3 hours they send a nurse practitioner in to see you NOT A DOCTOR & then before they treat you at all they just go by an unqualified person's diagnosis that only speaks to you about your symptoms no blood work no xrays NO REAL DOCTOR & then they tell you they want $250 upfront for an unqualified persons opinion if you say you don't have any money they tell you they will not treat you & make you leave. EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT IS ILLEGAL AND EVERYONE THAT THEY DO THIS TO NEEDS TO CONTACT THE MEDICAL BOARD AN ATTORNEY FOR THEMSELF AS WELL AS CIVIL RIGHTS AND THE TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL!!! THERE'S PROBABLY BEEN SEVERAL DEATHS BCUZ OF THEIR GREEDINESS BUT POOR PPL DON'T REALIZE IT'S ILLEGAL AND HAVEN'T SUED THEM OVER IT!!! I'VE ALREADY FILED SEVERAL THINGS WITH THE STATE OF TEXAS OVER THIS EMERGENCY ROOM I HOPE THEY SHUT DOWN THE ENTIRE GREEDY HOSPITAL!!!!

The ER Doctor up here didn't even run the tests that were supposed to be ran on my son, he has been sick since Saturday I took him to his primary doctor on Monday and said that it was a stomach virus and told me to take him to the er if he symptoms continues, which I did this morning. We weren't in there ten minutes they stabbed him for strep and the flu the ER doctor threw those tests away looked at his ear said it was an ear infection and that was it and sent us on our way. Didn't run test didn't do anything. The nurses where very helpful aside from the doctor. Doctor Vinson I will say one thing im very disappointed and we will no longer be using ormc as long as he is there. I'm highly upset that this happened and also he told me my sons primary doctor didn't tell me to take him to the er if his symptoms continued. He was being lazy and didn't care about my son

Had an echocardiogram done recently and the Admitting staff was very accommodating. Kayla from Cardiology was very nice and got my test done quick. Surely appreciated the care and assistance given to me.

My wife is an epileptic and during her pregnancy, she was in and out of the hospital. The staff here always rushed her to get checked out immediately. There was no waiting unlike MCH. We switched over to ORMC and do not regret it at all. She was constantly monitored and every need taken care of by both the nurses and doctors. Hands down, the best hospital I have ever taken her to and continue to use for my entire family.

I love all the nurses in labor and delivery. Courtney the lvn especially. Shes amazing and so kind, she kinda looks like miranda lambert.she goes abpve and beyond. Infact a lot of the nurses here do. I went in for an angiogram and ended up having a stent placed in my heart. Yvonne, Dan and Alejandro made this event as comfortable as possible. I can t thank them enough for helping me stay calm and reassuring me that I was in good hands with Dr. Naidu. These individuals are proof that hero s can touch your life when you least expect it. A special thank you to Dr. Naidu and the rest of the operating room staff for giving me another chance to be with my family for years to come. Also, I hope Myra realized that the staff in the post op area where doing everything they could to help me when I Vagaled and where not rude at all to the answering service when she pleaded for help on contacting the Doctor.
