Ochsner Northshore Medical Center Review

The wait time was short. I received excellent care. The staff, doctor and nurses were very helpful, nice and friendly. I will definitely be using them again.

My doctor is very nice and caring. During my recent procedure he guided me through every step that he took to help me out with my nerves. Overall my experience was awesome.

I have to put one star because I had to go to the emergency room for stomach pain they took me in and did a scan of my stomach they said I was constipated. I went home and took medication for that it still didn t help the pain. So I went to SMH just a short drive away and they had me do a colonoscopy and they found out I have charon s disease I will never go to ochsner hospital again.

My husband visits regularly for follow-up tests since having a liver transplant. We are always pleased with the efficiency and quality of service received here. Friendly and professional staff as well!

I would like to thank all of whom I have came across and had to deal with . I have had nothing but a great experience while visiting or while I was in the hospital.. They were very helpful and curtious while I was there. Thank you all very much. Sebrinia

I cannot find enough good adjectives to use to compliment not only the medical staff and physicians, but also the entire staff, every employee, team member at Ochsner Slidell !! In the past 618 months, my mother has been an inpatient, visited the Er, had two surgeries, and several diagnostic procedures at Ochsner Slidell and the CARE, Courtesy, kindness, professionalism, and just the smiling faces we have experienced is amazing!! Every employee, whether medical staff or janitorial staff is so kind, friendly, personable and goes out of their way to just SMILE or say Hello, good morning, how are you? - not even knowing whether you re a patient or not!! Every person you encounter is just so HAPOY AND FRIENDLY!! The world needs more people like the entire staff at Ochsner Slidell!! I ve had medical care, surgeries etc in 4 different parishes - but you guys at Ochsner Slidell SURPASS THEM ALL!! You ALL ROCK!! Thank you all so much for your outstanding patient care and for being EXTRA !!!!

My Mom stayed Mother's Day through today and had a wonderful experience with the staff despite her illness. She was very impressed with everyone she encountered. Thank you for doing your job so we'll.

Very bad. They would not get any stars but you can't post without one. Spent 6 hours in the emergency room with my son having severe stomach pain. After a couple of tests, he was sent home to "take tylenol, if you have to". 6 days later saw a gastroenterologist, who scheduled two more tests. No diagnosis - "may be a virus". She did give him something for the pain, which would reduced his pain for about 6 hours. He was finally able to eat a little and get some sleep. It is now 18 days since this started. He is still in pain. Called the doctor's office, as he was instructed by the doctor. He was told they cannot give him anything, and he could schedule his appointment in 8 weeks! Can anybody tell me what you do when the medical professionals won't help you?

I would not even give them one star. I brought my mom during the pandemic because she was having heart problems and not one of the receptionist upfront we re wearing a mask. These receptionist were in the waiting room helping patients in their face without a mask on. This is inexcusable behavior for medical professionals dealing with suffering covid patients on the daily to not even CARE about the safety of their patients. After telling the doctor about the situation he got the receptionists to put on their masks which took it as a joke and removed them right after he left the room. I would never ever come here again. Oschner should be ashamed with how much they push the importance of wearing masks on their websites and their workers treat it as a joke.

Everyone was so very kind. The response was very quick (even though they were very busy) the doctor follow up quick.
