Ocean Sole is a fantastic organization! They retrieve discarded flip flops from coastal beaches and turn them into innovative art works. They use every part of the sandals, even shredding leftover pieces from their carvings and using them in pillows and footrests. Their carvers are quite skilled! Check them out and help rid the ocean of some plastic.

Ocean Sole is an incredible project that aims to take care of our ocean. They collect slippers from the sea and transform into art, accessories, toys of vibrant and charming colors, from tiny products to giant sculptures! And while you visit and get to know more about the NGO and the local area, you can also enjoy and buy right there, further encouraging the foundation.
Each product is handmade and everything is very valuable and conscious. In addition, it offers conditions for the people who produce these pieces. The opportunity for paid work and guaranteeing a better living condition for their families.

This place is a super Art sanctuary Located at Karen Village along Ngong road and opposite Kenya brodcasting corporation, situated; approximately 7 Min from Karen The Hub Shopping mall.

A venture that is supporting the environment by collecting sole dumped in the sea & converting them into adorable art.

It has created employment for the youth and thus the proprietors are to be applauded.

Their pieces of art are sold worldwide.

You can visit their studios during working days Monday to Friday & experience the art first-hand.

Interesting undertaking. The recovery made of the hundreds of thousands of plastic flip-flops transformed into commercial products and in some cases true works of art is certainly commendable.

This place is great, they recycle used slippers and curve them into a great sculpture either big or small. The great thing is the workshop is just there. The team players are great helpful and caring. The venue is peaceful and serene.

If you use Google maps it may direct you to a dead end. But Karen village is very close by, you have to use an entrance on a perpendicular road, the road is unpaved and pretty rough.

The idea behind this concern is ingenious, and there is some basic artistry in the products. Several locals are employed by this successful company. However, it's quite a stretch to say this is an endeavor that reduces plastic and rubber pollution. The sculptures will eventually be discarded as plastic and rubber waste, and the shredded bits used for mattresses, etc., will find their way back in the trash. At most, waste will have been transferred from the water to land.
