Might be hard to see the sign from the street-I hope they get a better sign for the venue. It is a great place but the sign could make it hard to find.
I loved the venue. We just saw Blue October there on March 29,2014. This venue was new to us so I researched and I came across a couple of negative reviews. I was cautious about parking and expected it to be not one of the best places that we have been to. Well it was a great place and I hope Blue October plays there again and I would love to see other artists there as well.
We parked in their lot - there was no charge. We did get there early, so there was a bit of parking left. If we had to park away from the venue we would have been careful - due to the posts that I read.
We didn't eat there - we were not expecting a place with a full on restaraunt - but they do have food. We only drank water - and that was reasonable.
The important points for us were the concert/show. The show was incredible. The sound, stage, and time allowed for the set were super. There were also many areas to chose for good to great views of the band. The place also has seats or booths inside but I think I read that you have to reserve them.
Their employees we very nice and helpful, from the guys in the parking lot to the guys inside answering my dumb questions after the show. When they wear "Massive Security" - they mean it - :) The sign says "no re entry" They do have a patio that you can get to to smoke during the show if you wish.
I loved this place.

Great venue. Looks like it's all standing. Can see the artist up close if you arrive early. Parking lot is not that far away. Gets really crowded so be ready to rub some elbows. Saw yaeji's show and it was the best connect ever. So glad this venue is around. Driving to Los Angeles is so hard, especially on weekends.

Parking is a half mile walk and you'll be charged $10-25 depending on the event and since it is surrounded by office buildings there is no alternative parking that won't get you towed....bring cash, it's cash only parking to top it off.

Unprofessional staff. Ridiculous "policies". Sound is terrible. No options for pariking except for surprise 10$ cash only parking lot a half a mile away.

Avoid unless absolutely the only place you can see a show.

Love this place! Great prices to see the best bands & artists play.. They even have good pre-show performers too.. Not all but most. It's a great size, stays cool in there unless its a huge crowd & everyone is dancing

First time to this venue and I actually really like it. It's one of the few venues where the security is super nice to everyone (kudos, guys!). There are multiple bars so you can get drinks relatively quickly, and the outside patios/bars are a brilliant idea -- they provide patrons with a place to chill while the after-concert congestion dies down. Plus, this place gets big-name acts. Highly recommended. My only advice: Do not stand on the very sides of the stage during a show. Because the ceiling speakers are set out from the stage, you actually end up standing behind them, so youcan hardly hear any singing (in addition to the fact that you won't be able to see the back half of the stage). I learned this lesson the hard way...

The observatory in Santa Ana and their sister location the observatory North park San Diego are my 2 favorite concert venue has ever. I go to 20 to 30 concerts most years. The North park location in San Diego has incredible food and a great bar built into it and it's a fun place to go on Saturday and Sunday for brunch. The observatory Santa Ana has a couple different then use for seen live music and if you want to be up close and personal you will almost never have a better experience than this period. The VIP manager Michelle is an awesome manager I was introduced to her by Paris from these San Diego location and show is takes great care of us in the VIP lounge for all the shows. If you're intrested in seeing great bands in a great location, contact Michelle in Santa Ana or Paris in San Diego you will not be sorry.

I am truly conflicted on this review. The venue is top notch for seeing your favorite bands, the manager, didn't get his name, was incredibly helpful, I am in a wheelchair. One of my front wheels broke before getting inside the venue, the manager came right over and wheeled me right in and to my location. Now, during the show there was an individual in the handicap section who was causing a disturbance thru 4 of the 5 bands playing. Long story a little shorter, the staff did nothing to remedy the disturbance. Still love the place and the staff, just hope the staff has learned from the situation.

One of my favorite venues in the LA/OC area. Great view of the band from almost any spot in the house. We try to arrive early and snag a spot upstairs. Standing room only for the most part but they have some VIP and ADA seating areas.

As far as my experience goes, there were definite aspects that needed vast improvement. But this is the place to go for the value of seeing an artist you love, so long as it isn't overcrowded(the night I went it was perfect, not claustrophobic like I've heard about other nights.) Just keep this in mind when going, is it an high profile artist? Then it will be miserably crowded like others complain of. I went and saw a kickbutt artist who's gaining a lot of traction and if it were anymore crowded it would've been too much but it was just right.
Based on my experience I would most likely go again if there's an artist I wanna see....but DANG FIX YOUR FOOD! The fries were too thinly sliced I couldn't eat them without pain from crunching down so hard, and after waiting 40 minutes for them, well, that's kinda pushing it. The people staffed there were very helpful and nice at least. It was just the fries that was the main negative for me.
Oh! And the ventilation was just fine, I understand that's been a concern other nights, but I think that might have to do with the fact it was a cooler night and tickets weren't oversold. So anyone hesitant on going, just read the reviews and guesstimate what kind of experience to expect based on what other reviewers said. From there determine if the guesstimated experience is something you want/worth it for you. I lucked out.

We made the reservations for wirsthaus. Free parking was nice. The wirsthaus has great sausages. But the beer selection, which is an integral part of the meal was lacking. But the bartenders were very nice

Went there for the first time to see one of my favorite artists: BANKS. Arrived at a good time and they actually did get us "checked-in" quickly and we were the first ones in. The bad thing is for a venue saying they have ADA accessible seating, it really is not very accessible. By that I mean, they do have a specified area for wheelchair/handicap individuals, but the visibility or view towards the stage is terrible. I have an electric chair that is able to raise up (like an elevator) a significant amount and even with that that I still could not see the performance that well. There's so many people in front of who are constantly moving you could barely catch a good glimpse. There's is another area all the way down below extremely close to the stage and there is a ramp to get down there, if anyone from that venue is reading this or anyone with a wheelchair willing to go, I would say to ask if you could take a seat up there instead. Otherwise you would basically be paying to just listen to the music which is something u can do on your own

I was thrown out last night for standing next to a fight. Security rounded up everyone in the area except who was fighting and took us out side. Everyone looked confused then they finally decided I was "involved" and threw me out early.

What a venue, so intimate. I'll be keeping my eye open for some good bands here again, no seat, or standing spot for that matter, is bad. You're up close and personal no matter where you're situated. Go see a show here, you'll not regret it.

The configuration of the main room is awesome for getting a view from anywhere and the pit is a good size, really great sound, and have a ton of local and larger named artists roll through for shows.

Drink prices are a bit cheaper than most venues i've been to, though they do have cheaper tall cans.

Non-preferred Parking is a bit of a walk, but seems pretty secure, nothing to complain about.

Will be stalking the calendar for this place from now on.

A really nice, intimate venue! Great place to see a live show. The only down side is the parking is weird, if my friend hadn't remembered where we'd parked I would have been far too long looking for my car!

I really love this venue, but after the Abbath show awhile back here I was a little disappointed. The show was great but it was early and they had some trap show after and they let the trap kids in before Abbath was even finished playing. Very disrespectful and super annoying when all these 15 year olds come running in and crowding into the show you paid for.

Great venue with a nice cozy feel, then the show starts and being emerged in the crowd just feet away from the band is amazing. Will be coming back. Also only venue I've been to to host a Death Metal show simultaneously with a Hip-Hop/Rap show in the same building. Food and drinks available.

Pretty low-budget/mid-range performance venue inside with two stages, a tiny restaurant, and a bar. On-site parking is a bit limited, but off-site parking is only a few hundred feet away, so it's still convenient.

Always a great place to go for shows, same with the constellation room. Parking was easy to find. Seems like it s $20 up close and $10 down the street a bit.

I ve seen a few shows here and it s just what you need and want. Check out some shows. Some are just $15 or so.

The pictures are of the Girl in Red show last week.

This venue has three stages and bars. The food is very good and their restrooms are typically clean. I recommend the sliders. This venue provides some onsite emergency medical technicians which is great if you plan on injuring yourself or excessively drink. They check the guests with metal detectors. The Observatory is safe for guests.
