Saw The Longshot on July 10 2018. Very nice venue, although I had to pay for parking that wasn t even on the premises. Another great concert, I got on stage when Billie Joe invited fans to come up, and this place will also hold cherishable moments in my heart.

Awesome little venue!

Awesome little venue!

Just saw a concert here and it was the perfect venue. I never thought I'd get the chance to see this specific artist as they're more of a UK artist however I finally got to and this was the best place. Everywhere is close enough to the stage so I get to be a few feet away from said artist, which was mind blowing.

What was also mind blowing was the price of the Pabst tall cans. Granted, that is to be expected at an event like this, but still. Hence, the four stars. Enjoyed the venue, enjoyed the staff, didn't enjoy the beer prices. But other than that, definitely recommend!

The staff and the Wursthaus in the venue were amazing. The sound in the venue is what you'd expect from a concert venue. The gripe I have with this venue is the location. It's surround by corporate offices and building and will confuse anyone looking for the venue.

Second on the Horrible Parking. But great music venue for small acts. Saw We are Scientists and it was a religious experience. Kind of a lot of weed smoke inside. Also stupid expensive drinks. But as I am learning, everything in California is stupid expensive.

Side Note: Pay the $10 parking fee. Everyone surrounding the venue is A Total and Complete Jerk About Event Parking, and will tow you at essentially a moment's notice. I parked at Del Taco, purchased a burrito, put the receipt in the window of my car (thinking this would somehow indicate that I was a patron and therefore make it okay to park there) and they towed me exactly one hour after. I had to Uber to a sketchy part of town to my car back at 2am, and it cost $387. Pay the parking fee.

Let me first begin by saying the event was more than okay, who i went to see did not dissapoint. The Flatbush Zombies & Underachiever's were amazing but before hand me & my friend were denied access into the event due to some problem in the box office. The man or so looking kid named "Ian" working at the box office disgusted me. Talking to my friend & I about us buying tickets and selling them or if we had bought a ticket there in the parking lot. I had bought the tickets a month before the event, precautions were not taken right instead of asking for my Information like my I.D., credit card, or any information so he would be able to identify me he coughed up our tickets when i asked for his manager. Then rudely told me to, "grab your tickets". I've never had an experienced like this & hope this doesn't happen to anybody. I feel like the situation could've been handled more professionaly nevertheless that is why my rating is so low.

Shows are good decent prices but why is there convenience fee for inconveniences? Online they charge 6 dollars convenience. So i go to the observatory and they charge 5 For convenience with card and 3 cash at the window. Reasonable? Up to you.

Venue is setup very cool, you can pretty much see from where ever you are. The box office staff is pretty rude and dismissive so make sure if you purchase tickets from a third party you have that completely ready to go bc they are of no help and won't even attempt to be courteous about it.

Fun small venue. There's a full bar, but no food. No seats, unless you crab a table, otherwise it's standing/dancing kind of place. We had a "meet and greet package," which meant we got to enter earlier (at 5:30, whereas the concert was starting at 8:30). Since the place has "absolutely no re-entry" we had to spend some time inside: on the plus side, we were there through the sound check for Sirsly, on the down side, we got quite hungry and tired. There is a smoking area though, which smokers got to enjoy while waiting for the concert to begin. There are also spacious and clean restrooms, a bit old-looking but well taken care of. There is parking ($10 per car), and it didn't look too crowded.

P.S. Foodwise, there is a gastropub WURSTHAUS at Observatory, where one can get beer, sausages and fries, but it is a separate space:

"Pre-show reservation allows for early entry into the venue as well as free parking in our parking lot. Each guest in your party must meet a $15 minimum spend. No need to make a reservation if you're arriving after doors."

Went to see Majid Jordin and it was amazing. The only thing is the space is kind of tight and the air doesn't come on enough but other than that it was a great place, a great concert and I was very pleased with my experience.

Easy to find, parking is nice and easy (come early for free parking), amazing acoustics, always a good place to stand, and music diversity. These are the reasons I keep coming back to this awesome venue. I'll take Observatory over annoying Hollywood venues any day. Not that Hollywood venues suck, but they aren't as easily accessible. Hollywood is filled bad drivers, traffic, and expensive/annoying/hard to find parking. Even though I lived closer to Hollywood I ended up choosing Observatory when I had the choice because of the easy drive.

Extremely happy with our experience. Our waiter was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and wine offerings. When we were originally sat, we didn't have a window seat. Luckily the night slowed down and a window table opened up. Without even asking, our waiter happily moved us to an even better seat.

The views are all around spectacular - even if you don't have a direct window seat. The gondola ride is fun and certainly makes this an experience more than the standard "fancy restaurant".
