Best local concert venue in OC!! Great views of the stage from all angles, great parking and drink prices!
I like this venue for catching performances. Good sight lines everywhere and multiple bars for grabbing a drink.
Awesome venue! Lots of great music and mostly fun crowds!
Nice music venue, good stage views pretty much anywhere
Great place for a concert..quality sound , intimate nice vibes
Great show, stellar performance, hell of a good time. Reverend Horton Heat & Big Sandy are totally awesome
Girls of all ages beware at some point while at this venue you will be harassed and maybe even sexually assulted
Neck Deep was rad last night. Shout out to all the staff who make it possible. Ken in medical was doing a fantastic job keeping everyone safe.
One of the best venues we have been too. Its easy to see band from anywhere. There's an intimate feel here, that a lot of venues don't have. It was awesome here!
Great venue with multiple stages inside and out. Perfect for small shows and weekend festivals. Amazing sound, good food and drinks on site.
I absolutely love this venue, I've got so many memories
We came here to see Bayside and Say anything play and the concert was amazing they rocked! the bar tenders were on point all the way, and the security was kicking ass, but the people at will call the the girls that were supposed to tell us where to go and what to do for the meet and greet were terrible, they sucked. The never gave us our tickets so even though we were supposed to go in first because we had VIP tickets we went in almost last. None of those girls really seemed to care that they completely boned us on that too. They just scoffed rolled their eyes and kept saying I don't know. We had to figure it out on our own.
Great place for small bands. Standing room mostly with a few bottle service tables. Very loud, consider bringing ear plugs. Liquor prices are typical. My BIG gripe is parking, you park a few blocks away in some other businesses parking lot. If you want to park at the venue be prepared to pay a premium!
We made reservations and got early entrance. Great event!!
Good show static x devil driver and dope, and small venue. Been there lots of times and finally made it down into the pit. Will be back for more.
The place is clean. The staff was great. The show (Oh Wonder) was fantastic. The off site parking was unusual, but very organized and easy to get in and out. Have cash on hand for parking.
Great atmosphere multiple rooms with different music in each had a amazing night with my fridays on valentine's
Very Professional place. I'm uses to dives. They seemed to have good flow and control of the crowds.
Such a small venue but perfect for certain shows. I love how they treat you !
Don't is your debt/credit card after each transaction was signed and processed, for some reason got billed a few extra transactions with odd totals and days/weeks later keep getting billed for unauthorized transactions
I like this place. Something cozy about. I like how its layered. They have security lighting up stairs whenever they see someone about to use them. Security seemed pretty friendly. Just an all around great venue
It was a fabulous venue sounds great but the lighting on the musicians needs to be more on point. We saw Grace vanderwaal and it was so dark didn't see your pretty face couldn't see her beautiful face or when she went into the audience the lighting should have focused on her way too dark. We had drinks and food at the bar and the food was excellent had the short rib poutine highly recommended. Asking for food
Parking and security we're not coordinated at all and i wasted time and missed half an act at least. Constructive criticism was given to the parking and security group, but they did not want to hear or accept it.
Beers we're too expensive. 8 bucks for a water cup sized beer.
In isolation, the food was good (but also overpriced) , the sound was good, but given the experience to get in the overall experience was mediocre to poor.
It would have been better to just go to the Grove in Anaheim
The (potentially unlicensed) hot dog and taco stands at the end of the night had a better overall experience.
Great venue, good avess6to bars, not a bad seat in the house
Customer service is horrible. Nobody ever answers the phone when people are trying to call and ask question. why do you guys even have a number up here. Irritating as hell do better!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Came to watch hippie Sabatoge here with Bae. Pretty crowded. Good times though. That song "Do the Bob Dylan" was
Outstanding place ...fast service .....great team work .....
I like the venue the but the sound guy was really bad the bass was obnoxiously loud during hiatus kaiyote i could barely hear the band
Great place to see bigger bands. Always a fantastic time.
Took forever to get in. Bought early entry upgrades only for them to be obsolete. We arrived in the wrong line, doors opened at 7:00 and they didn't start letting people in until 7:30. Despite the wait times and inconsistency, the concert was amazing. Saw EDEN and Verite. Both were exceptional singers. We also got squashed being up so close and was extremely crowded but it was great.
Awesome venue! The sound system and light shows here are outstanding!
i wish i could give this venue zero starts because my concert experience seeing neck deep was ruined because security and management couldn t do their job right. I am still traumatized from that moment and wouldn t want it to happen to someone else. I can remember the night clearly, the pit was so packed everyone was in there like a can of sardines, my mom and I tried to leave because she wasn t comfortable and of course it s my mom I want her to be comfortable. as we re leaving we could barely move, people were pushing their way in still trying to get in the pit while a tone others like me were pushing their way out trying to make people see that it isn t safe. and guess what? there was no security IN SIGHT, now i ve been to PLENTY of shows like this where it could get rowdy but it was a good rowdy and it was never like this at all. as i m trying to get out there are people jumping from the higher level from the pit to crowd surf, people being trampled just from trying to leave. I spoke to a girl who dislocated her arm and got a concussion because she was stuck on the floor. luckily I was able to get out and where were security? STANDING OUT SIDE BY DOOR NO WHERE NEAR THE PIT OR THE CROWD! JUST STANDING THERE LIKE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS AS ALL OF US ARE BEING HURT AND SQUISHED AND UNABLE TO MOVE! this venue is luckily that no one died from being trampled, and management and the police had the audacity to say that we shouldn t have been there and we should know what shows like this are like, when WE DO KNOW WHAT SHOWS LIKE THIS ARE LIKE IVE SEEN THIS BAND PLENTY OF TIMES BEFORE AND IT WAS NEVER LIKE THIS! I was crying because I love this band and I was looking forward to this night for a very long time and it was ruined by security, police, and management. not even the police would listen to us when we told them what was going on, until we found people we saw getting hurt. I had bruises on my arms luckily not terrible ones, I was luckily to not have gotten extremely hurt that night. it just sucks because the venue itself I love because it s so intimate but the way it s run through management and security ruins it. I will never return to that venue again.
An awesome, small venue. Parking is a breeze and only $10 ($20 for preferred parking). No bad spots in this venue!
Great small venue. Shows are usually cheap here. Get ur drinks before u pick ur spot to stand because u will probably lose your spot
This venue is small enough to be able to enjoy whom ever you see. But big enough not to be all kinda crowded.
I love the observatory, it's a big venue with a bar & some seats on the side. I came here to see Silverstein back in 2012 I believe.
The Observatory, and its smaller Constellation Room are small, intimate spaces which allow you to experience the music in ways stadiums simply don't allow.
A great venue. Close & intimate. Always pretty crowded for shows and a lot of fun.
After attending a concert here on Thursday September 24th I have had to cancel my credit card as they have charged me 4 x times for one transaction resulting in over $100 in false charges.
Beware of their tactics and lack of communication.
Love small venues like this, you have have a great view from anywhere you stand and enjoy the show!
Saw Yellawolf and you can't find a bad place to watch your favorite artist perform in the whole building except maybe the bathrooms
great venue to enjoy the show see a concert intimate enough to really be able to enjoy the artist close and personal
Have seen many artists at this venue, never disappoints
The Observatory is a multi-venue concert hall with several bars and reasonable prices. The venues have a tiered mini-arena style arrangement so that all rows can see clearly and the sound is relatively good quality. Their bartenders do not skimp on the alcohol, despite having very small cups. Parking for the event is not easy, as you will likely end up paying for their $10 lot across the street (cash only!)
Great venue, just gets too packed sometimes, but what else would u you expect...
I love seeing shows here. Very chill for how big it is.
Small venue but it makes for a great show, everything's close to the stage. Easy in and out, gates opened on time.
I am a former employee of the previous venue the galaxy theater. I was brought back on board under the new management Observatory Orange County. I must say that they have made a huge impact very professional very organized and bring in some awesome music. I enjoy working for the observatory it is a pleasure. Management and staff are great it helps when working as a security guard at that type of venue. Superb teamwork all the way around.
Best place to cat h your favorite live act!! The venue is small enough to make it intimate but large enough to bring a crowd and enjoy
Very cool place to see a show. I definitely liked the way the place was laid out. It made it a great place to go and just hang out with friends and watch a good band
One of my favorite venues for concerts. There are multiple stages rooms, ranging from more intimate, smaller rooms, to larger ones with more space to move around. The lighting is very nice during shows, and the venue offer refreshments and food for purchase.
It was pretty cool for a small venue, now i know what to expect for next time, but there will be a next time.
Lots of Amazing groups!!!! The vibe is chill and so are most of the spectators.
AWESOME venue. Great bar placement and multitiered audience area with good air circulation. AWFUL parking arrangement. $10 cash only for any medium sized event or above... far from actual venue.
Food and drinks were affordable. Definitely recommend the grilled cheese. VIP table views were perfect and the waiting staff/bar staff were cool people. Saw Kreator and Obituary this night they were absolutely phenominal.
The venue is typical in-door size I guess maybe on the smaller side. Second floor was for VIP and offered great views of the bands playing tonight. First visit to this venue and I cant wait to come back!
