Every showing i ve visited here has been an immersive experience which i ve gained an education from. Design of the space is always well thought out, and each exhibition has been interesting for me. I first visited for the work of David Straight, whose work began for me what is now a very major interest in John Scott and New Zealand Architecture. The gallery has a great selection of books and journals available, and the staff are friendly too. Visit!

In addition to workshops and exhibitions at its Auckland location (13 Rose Road Ponsonby), Objectspace also hosts events such as artist talks or panel discussions on topics related to craft or design trends.

Objectspace has gained recognition not only within New Zealand but also internationally due to its commitment towards promoting contemporary art forms through innovative programming initiatives like "Crafting Aotearoa" which was co-curated with Te Papa Tongarewa Museum Of New Zealand (the national museum) showcasing over 300 objects from more than 120 makers across Aotearoa/New Zealand spanning over 70 years.

The team behind ObjectSpace comprises experienced professionals who have worked extensively in the arts industry both locally and internationally; they bring their expertise into every aspect of running this public gallery space - from curating exhibitions through marketing campaigns aimed at increasing awareness about what they do best: promoting contemporary crafts!
