Deduction $40 from rent paid the following month.
Leaves you a balance of only $960 on you rent which leaves a balance and and since you have a balance on the unpaid amount you are concerned late so you owe $40 last month+ $40 late fee+ $40 from current month + $40 for a balance fee so on top of you rent you owe $160 because you didn t pay the late fee from late month
